You did what I did. I just installed it all on my new 2023 750 King Quad. The winch cables were too short but the battery leads were long enough. So I used the red and black power cables for the winch and used the blue and yellow for power. Everything was cut to length including the handle bar switch where I made a custom mount that scewed into the threaded mirror hole on the left. It's so clean. I'm a retired professional mechanic and specialized in electrical and installed stereos professionally so this stuff was cake walk. A clean job is reliable.
Excellent video! Answered several questions on issues I have ran into trying to install a Warn Winch on my new 2023 Kingquad 500. Short cables, where to tap into power and mounting the contact relay... Many thanks for taking the time to share!
Just bought 750 2022. I am thinking of tapping into accessory plug as well. My son 2022 400 had a loose wire on it which worked on key on so I grabbed that one Supposedly they have hot wire for reverse light I’m trying to find so I can mount a led light on it
There is a hot wire for the back up light .. very hard to get to and barely sticks out. Before they all they way back and easy to get at... Not sure why they made it so hard. Congrats on the new machine... You're gonna love it!
@@Supertramp01 how do I find wire diagram for 2022. I love it problem is my son loves it too. Should of got him 500. Power steering is 100% better. My daughter is 12 had her on 400 today so might give her that one and get my son a 500. We are in nj. Where you
@@mikemacinnes6120 Suzuki forums is best place for that. 500's are great machines .. my friend has one and his wife has a 400... Huge difference between those tow machines. For the price difference I would have gotten the 500! Plus the 400 has no resale value. Same with the 500... While better than the 400 the resale is low.. just something to keep in mind! I'd get your boy the 750 and limit the throttle unless you think he can handle it! I actually have my outlander up for sale and I'm going back to the KQ 750.. you'll be seeing a video soon if you're subscribed to the channel! I am in Ohio

What do you mean you swapped the starter yellow and blue wires with the winch red and black? Where did you swap them?
Nice clean install , thx brother
Used your vid today thanks !
Awesome!! Glad it helped!
I like the video, could turn your phone arround , but lots of info. thanks for sharing.
the winch says nothing about a solenoid, which one to get and where from? 2022 750
The winch comes with the solenoid..
Its a relay, not a solenoid. Its in the winch box.
Do you worry about not having a fuse/breaker on the main power line
It is key on power through the ignition...so there is a fuse
Are those ripsaw tires? do you like them.
@@Coyotethumper5 those are actually EFX motoclaws... Radials.. they are awesome tires
@@Supertramp01 should also have a fuse on the main power cable to the winch

I mounted the same winch on my KQ.
I'd never Buy a Warn winch again!! Champion winches have lasted me 100x longer.
Warn is junk now. Less than a 6 months ware got into winch and toasted it. Got it fixed then water got in solenoid box. Junk
