Is that pulse bar kit with the mount plate from polaris or did you get the kit from amazon ? Amazon has a kit for $89 that shows the pulse bar, mount plate and wire harness
We've got a 2018 Ranger 500 on our farm we bought new in '17. No issues whatsoever. It gets used a lot every day. Super comfortable and it goes anywhere. It's my dad's machine, so I just bought a new 2025 Ranger 570 EPS Premium. It has a roof, windshield, rear windshield, and soft doors. Paid $17,900 OTD. Still waiting for it to be delivered. If it's anything like the 500, I'll be happy.
I agree that not having a light switch is crazy,
What do you mean you swapped the starter yellow and blue wires with the winch red and black? Where did you swap them?
27 Blackwater evaluation are exactly 27 and I've had mine for 5 years now with no problems and no plugs as well but if you get them get 1" 1/2 spacers as well to off set the higher you are in the air . Great tires for sure . Good luck
I’m having a tough time deciding between the KQ and grizzly myself. The fit and finish is definitely better then the grizzly No big gaps all over the place . grizzly has the rear storage box that will let water in and the potato chip like quality foot wells that everyone complains about . The Kq to me looks a lot like a honda rubicon but with more power. don’t get me wrong i love the aggressive front looks of the grizzly but the back end looks so 90s . especially with the racks
I personally think Yamaha has dropped off the cliff with QC... They seem to be getting cheaper and more flimsy every year.. IMHO KQ is the best do it all quad
I also ahve my first 23 Polaris SP570 and decide to add plow for our white stuff in northern Indiana. I believe i found the dummy plug but it doesn't match my plug from the switch. Anh suggestions?
I dont have any suggestions as I dont have a plow... However I am looking at getting one so, if I do and figure it out I will post it up
Thanks for the video. I just bought the same. Learn the history of that flag. Every time I see someone with one my thought is “dumb.”
Well aren't you just a special kind of stupid to even comment on the flag in the background.. Guessing you're some crazy ass cat lady libtard
Every time I see someone who comments on something in the background of a video my thought is "dumb."
My rack on a 2024 ranger 570 crew mid size just don't fit. There's not even holes for the top of the rack
@@roberthughes2687 Polaris could definitely work on quality control with their accessories
Was pulling my hair out trying to figure out where that went. TYVM for posting this- saved my bacon!!!
Glad it helped
The brute force 750 has a wonderful seat for two as well. And the bikes are very comparable and if I’m not mistaken can interchange some parts with each other. I haven’t seen any king quads in my area here in the deep Deep South. Mostly can-ams and Polaris junk. Can’t beat Japanese quality. At all.
Nice looking machine. I think the KQ will be my choice too.
Well, I was seriously considering one of these and you have convinced me , the Yamaha Viking will be my next machine.
I own a 21 grizzly se (USA xtr) and a 23 king quad same as yours. The grizzly power steering blows the king quad out of the water. The suspension on the grizzly is plusher. The king quad is better for work, steers where you want it to go. In tight spaces the grizzly will push the front end. The king quad tires are pretty poor for a top trim model. The floor boards are sturdier and longer on the king quad. Especially with the rear passenger peg bars, the grizzly is tight to get big boots in the opening. The Suzuki has a smoother motor and engagement. The grizzly is a little more raspy. Both awesome machines. For trail riding the grizzly is superior imo.
my 24 has a high low switch
When i first watched this video i had a 2018 Polaris sportsman 570 great atv but ended up going out and buying a 2020 Suzuki king quad 750 and was and still am amazed by the throttle response and ride just a great atv for sure
LOVE THE KQ
You did what I did. I just installed it all on my new 2023 750 King Quad. The winch cables were too short but the battery leads were long enough. So I used the red and black power cables for the winch and used the blue and yellow for power. Everything was cut to length including the handle bar switch where I made a custom mount that scewed into the threaded mirror hole on the left. It's so clean. I'm a retired professional mechanic and specialized in electrical and installed stereos professionally so this stuff was cake walk. A clean job is reliable.
Also the storage and cup holders on Polaris are much better than other manufacturers!!!
I like the can am too .
2023 570 sp mine was 13600 out the door included a roof
It's the best unit for the money in that class by a mile. If I hear anything around here about leaks I will try to get back to you. Nice unit..fyi if you look up Polaris off-road they have a channel here.I wonder if they might point you in the right direction.
what year is it? I'm getting a 2024 and I can't find after market lights that fit, so your lights intrigue me.
Mine is a 2023.. The lights I use are by Nilight
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I've been messing around with this all afternoon. This got me to the finish line.
Glad I could help!
The headlight ordeal is ridiculous!! My 2007 yamaha rhino 700 has low and highbeams, and the halogen lights sucked. I went ahead and ordered LED bulbs, and i can see about 100 feet in front of me on low beams! I recommend new bulbs.
That light bar puts out all the light I need...it's like daylight.. But yeah..shame on polaris for that shit.
@Supertramp01 for a machine that expensive and that new, you would think there would be a lowbeam highbeam switch. That's bullshit stuff.
Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Rear Windshield for your 2019 Maverick Trail 1000
Absolutely, I'd be interested in testing products. However, the ranger 570 is the current model I have. If you ha e any products for that, but I no longer have the maverick.
@@Supertramp01 Hello, yes, we have a product test for Ranger 570. Please share your con tact info
Q opinan q es mejor susuky o polaris???
I agree about the size. I got one 2 years ago, mostly for hauling rocks, timbers, cut wood, etc. around the homestead; and it's worked fine. So I just purchased the winch, and tried to do the install. I agree about the instructions; they're not good! In the instructions, the harness connectors are labeled (3M, 4M, etc). But they are not labeled on the actual part (...at least I couldn't find the labels). I made all the connections, and found the white female connector for the shutoff (and with your help, I made the access. connection. thanks). My issue is, I have a purple male connector from the winch harness leftover, and I cannot figure out where it goes. I could not get the switch (on the console) connected, because I can't determine where the other end of the harness connects. guess I'll have to search out the forums. But your video really clarified the install for me (this was my first ever winch install).
I am trying to picture what you are talking about but cant understand what you mean.. What is the problem you are having with connecting the switch? Did you figure it out?
@@Supertramp01 Yep. I got the switch connected (the connector 4M was taped around the main harness). But the 4F connector on the splitter harness is the problem. The instructions say to connect 4F to accessory power; but I can't find any connector that will accept the connector from the splitter harness. I don't want to cut off the connector and splice it into accessory power, but it's beginning to look I may have to. Also, the line drawings in the instructions are garbage. Why not include actual photos?
@@JimDon-xj5qp Pretty sure my video details that but I cant remember without rewatching because it was a pain in the ass to hook this up... I will NEVER do a plug an play again... I have done hundreds of winch installs and this was just horrible. There are dummy plugs everywhere,, I believe the one you are looking for I covered in the video.
Cannot go wrong with anything japanese but I'm a yamaha man and to hear you picked the Suzuki for a comfortable @$$ 😂😂😂! I can't knock it, I'm keeping my Kodiak but because of the price, I'm probably the proud new owner of a 2023 750. A local shop is selling it for less than what you pay for a new 500! Trying to get it out of there. No I'm not telling you all where lol.
There are def some great deals to be had right now
Is that the SuperATV kit? Looks like the instructions for their polaris winch kit. I was thinking about buying that kit. Thanks for finding that plug for everyone!
This is a polaris kit and glad I could help
What size and brand are the wheels and tires
What mount\plate did you use?
When you get a polaris winch for this unit it comes with the plate.
My plate doesn't fit the 2024 sp570 midsize. Or I don't know how it attaches the only push pins that line up are on the bottom
Congrats on your new kq. It's a smooth machine, and I've had em all, I'm also 61. My 2013 750 has 3500 miles, original belt is perfect, I just changed the original plug, why I don't know. Original brakes are not warn a bit. Exhaust is like new. You made a wise decision to buy the zuke 750 kq. The best
I'm 61-years old and just bought a 23 King Quad 750 as my first ATV. i have got just a few miles on it, ran her through a foot of snow and was great! She is in the barn, apart waiting on my Warn winch. The winch is supposed to be here this afternoon. i got the bracket in already. Thanks for your review and good luck with the new machine.
I have a winch install video on here as well if that will help you out... thanks for watching!
Thanks, I looked it over, great video.
Get a kunz pull behind .
I think utv is no different then driving a car what fun is that yes they are nice but I don't see point in trail riding id prefer ATV any day
Absolutely...while the price of quads is getting stupid...new sxs cost as much as the new f150 I just bought... ridiculous
Great video I’m thinking of buying these for my maverick trail and hopefully they haven’t been discontinued already ? I don’t see them on the can am website store anymore
Prices for the BX is about 1200.00 a horse power.
have you tried a muffler shop ?
Thank you for this video. How’s machine been since, can you do an update video please.
Excellent video! Answered several questions on issues I have ran into trying to install a Warn Winch on my new 2023 Kingquad 500. Short cables, where to tap into power and mounting the contact relay... Many thanks for taking the time to share!
I hope you do an atv ride along around your property
Most definitely...this entire yr was a bust on even getting down there as my ol lady had health problems that required me to be present. But , 2024 will be a different story
JuSt Just bought a 851 powermaster, and I am in the same spot you are fixing one thing after another
The only time I feel a difference on power steering is when I go back and forth from my non power steering model. I do notice less pull in ruts and rocks with the power steering model. I think I’ll buy another new KQ to match my 22.
Used your vid today thanks !
Awesome!! Glad it helped!
The 2 reasons I went back to an atv. 1 I hated not being able to stand up on rocky parts. Which were I ride it's 85% rocky parts an 2 I'm not pulling a trailer for a side by side. With the quad I can take the camper quad and inflatable raft with 6hp motor all in 1 load with the pickup. Worrying about scratches is not a good enough reason to pay the extra money for camo in my opinion. I got mine with power steering cuz without power steering I don't care how big an muscular you are trying to turn tracks all day without it an your arms will be jelly.
I agree with everything you said expect the powersteering..I have been riding quads since I was 16( because that's when the first one came out lol) I am 50 now... never needed powersteering in all the years..never had jelly arms..never got wore out and we rode for hours...still do to this day... powersteering is nice but it's WAY to hyped up...it's literally 1k to 1500 buck additional..not worth it..ots a gimmick at that price...like I said in the video of you can't ride for a day without powersteering...you shouldn't be riding... And I'll pay that extra money for camo because it 2 to 3 yrs that camo/quad will look new and the quad without it will look trashed...camo is worth more than powersteering IMHO
@@Supertramp01 go get yourself some "TRACKS". You will never say anything bad about power steering again. Without tracks yah you wouldn't need it. But with "TRACKS" you wouldn't want to go without it. They were 5,000 when I bought mine. And they will leave tires so far behind while your digging out your tires cuz of mud and snow. I'll be enjoying the day riding with no jelly arms.
I agree with everything you said, but the power steering I do really like mostly when driving on groomed winter trails, it really helps but when you hit that root it helps with bar whip, general trail riding it isn't a big issue, it is still nice to have. I wonder what you feelings about power steering are after having it for a few years.
Honestly..I can do without it.. The only powersteering that I found was great was on my can am outlander. Sadly the king quads seems like a gimmick after the canned ham
@Supertramp01 it definitely is not nearly as strong, but I think I would rather have it just to stop the sudden jerk of the bars,I am getting older and I have a bad shoulder 😅
The age thing is creeping up on me too at 50 yrs old 🤣 My only concern about powersteering is when it fails deep in the woods...every have the powersteering fail on a car??? Don't know if it would be the same but I don't want to find out 😂😂
Update?
I sold it
What do you think's the best quad for me to buy I'm almost 50 myself riding motorcycles and dirt bikes but never had a four wheeler I was looking at the Hondas but I know Suzuki's been around for a long time too which one do you think be the best all around four wheeler
I've had them all... I personally love the Kng quad and would recommend that over all of them
@@Supertramp01 that's great I appreciate it thanks that's what I'll start looking for
