Not only toothpaste instead of mustard, you can use Hair texturizer. Although, considering the stuff can be 18 bucks for 3.4 ounces..... I use It's A Ten. Good stuff.

Using toothpaste is a lot better trust me, mustard smells so bad in a workshop, toothpastes smells great and does the same thing
