On my website there are hundreds of meal prep, snack, and macro friendly dessert recipes that I have developed over the years. There are no targeted ads, no pointless life stories and endless scrolling to get to the ingredient list, just the recipes. I have a subscription based model where Gold Members have access to every recipe on the site, which is under $5/month with annual memberships. If that's not your thing, there is also a Silver level membership that is free for life, still ad free, and you get access to more than 40% of the recipes. Registering to become a member, whether that is a Gold or Silver (free) member, is the best way you can help support what I do. I appreciate all of you more than you know 😎

This must be the most underrated channel I've ever found - superb content my man
Glad you think so, thank you 😎
100% agree
@@TheMealPrepManual You were on 6k subs when I made this comment - Think your content quality is starting to shine through, congrats man
@@markingoe5835 he hit my recommended today and man am i happy he did
This channel is gold.
I've never thought about meal prepping snacks before to stay on track until now. This would help a ton and im sure save me some money on my impulse buying. Also that vacume sealer looks dope
🙌🙌
Forget money saving(though that helps).
The idea that you can just grab and go for fast af time is the most expensive thing it does.
No offense but "save me some money on my Impulse buying" next sentence "also that vacuum sealer looks great" had me rolling on the floor 😂🤣😭
@@AliceAmane
At least they're gonna use the vacuum sealer. 😁
@@tyranidswarmlord9722 It's amazing with kids. Our freezer is full of his snacks that are super easy to reheat. Kids call it McDaddies.
You keep your recipe simple and clean, which makes you stand out from the rest of the "Meal prep" UA-camrs. Heck I don't want to buy 22 types of ingredients just to prep my snack. Just simple chicken, flour, egg or even better, potatoes and salt.
How on earth you only have 30k subs, literally the best meal prep channel I’ve come across. No bs straight to the point and funny. Your channel is a solid UA-cam find!
Thanks for your support 😎
It's growing pretty fast. Once the algorithm starts seeing the minimum numbers, hopefully he takes off from there.
I think it’ll grow pretty quick I’ve been seeing this channel pop up a lot on my feed
I see you made this 5 days ago, now he is at almost 100k. Great content!
113k now
Considering I impulsively look for savory and end up in a drive thru when I'm hungry, this will save me hundreds of dollars. Thanks for the tips!
I have ARFID and traditional meal prep has never worked for me. My air fryer is my go-to for cooking most of the time, and I spend more than I’d like to on premade snacks that are my safe foods. Other creators spend too much time chatting about their life stories or pushing whatever products. You have such an easy to follow channel, and all your recipes are super simple to modify to accommodate for different dietary needs and still be healthy. Thank you so much, excited to find your videos right after grocery shopping and being stuck on what to make.
By far the most helpful recipe channel on youtube. All of your prepped foods are balanced, healthy, creative, and delicious.
Finding absolute bomb channels like this one makes me wonder how many amazing UA-cam channels are out there that I haven’t found yet. Thanks for making this channel Josh.
Thank you for your support 😎
Man I was really looking for a channel just like yours. I grew really tired of my staple meal preps and you just have so many great ideas and recipes im glad i got one of your videos in my recommendations. Instantly subbed.
Thank you 😎
Made the chicken fingers and they were amazing! The crunch on the chicken fingers gave me a sense of fast food. I couldn't quite get them as coated with only one round of coating, like in your video. I added an extra portion of egg and water and coated the fingers twice to get them really crispy. This is an amazing channel, thanks for sharing these recipes!
Glad you enjoyed 😎
were they good when you reheated them in the oven or air fryer? Im thinking of trying this out. I just ordered an air fryer because he has so many recipes that call for one lol
@@joonic3446 You'll love the Air fryer
@@joonic3446 an air fryer is definitely one of the best kitchen appliances you could buy.
@@joonic3446 How did it turn out? I love the air fryer cause it's so much faster and it tasted great. Try reheating other items like slices pizza and sandwiches. Much crispier than using the microwave.
Finally someone to help me with what I’ve been trying to curate!! A rotation of diy make ahead freezable snacks!! Thank you!! ♥️
Amazing content! I love your channel and meal prep recipes! Straight and to the the point.
This video was recommended to me a couple of weeks ago, now we have an air fryer and the vacuum food saver thingy. We love them both. We aren't even hardcore fitness people, but your style of food prep and how you explain it is super clear and encouraging. thanks!
You and Ethan Chlebowski are going to do a collab in the future, can already see it. Can't wait for you to blow up. Top tier content!
thank you 😎😎
Yeah your short and to the point tone is really appreciated with these. The practicality is incredible, thanks man
Add some baking soda to the water when you’re soaking the fries and they’ll come out even crispier!
This popped into my recommendations at the perfect time. That shaking to coat the chicken fingers is BRILLIANT! Thank you and looking forward to your future videos
Bro you're seriously a God send. I'm cutting currently and driving the struggle bus hard, looking for healthy snacks and eays to meal. So this is gonna help a TON. thank you
Omg where has this channel been!? I frequently search for meal prep videos but they’re always too long. I like how this is concise and the snacks/ meals are healthy. I’m excited to go to the grocery store this week so I can try these out ☺️
😎😎
Ive always thought of meal prepping as a tedious chore, but you're inspiring me to start. I like the peanut butter and jelly oatmeal you made on a different video. I think I'll try that recipe first.
I just found this channel and can already tell your content is going to be my next binge. Thank you for opening my eyes;
Thanks for your support 😎
What a great channel sometimes UA-cam gives me a great recommendation like this one. Thank you for the creative meal prep snacks
Awesome! Thank you!
This was amazing!!! By far the best meal prep video I've seen.
"Be smarter than the freezer." Best advice I've heard this year! 😂
I'm a newbie to your channel, and I've been watching your videos for hours.... Love your comments.... lol...... Be smarter than the freezer!! you crack me up :)
Let me say that these recipes are on point and I mean good start for any one looking for easy and quick snacks or meals.

Thank you 🙏
Ill be trying out some of your baking recipes soon. Awesome content, thanks
Snack city is such a genius idea! And I love the name too.
Just found your channel and I love it! Thanks for the great ideas!
I've always breaded food piece by piece with the standard 3 dish setup, but holy shit. Just using massive bowls like that and doing it all in batches. Mind. Blown. My life is about to get way easier
This is insane, I love this!!
I did this for a large batch of chicken fingers and spring rolls. Saved me a ton!
This channel is literally tailored for me, gluten free and high protein, i really appreciate this content man!
Are you sure you know what high protein means?
You definitely got a new subscriber and sharing going through all your videos helped my confidence in the kitchen!!
I'm so glad, welcome and thanks for your support 😎
Absolutely awesome thank you!
EXCELLENT Video.

thank you, glad you enjoy them 😎
You give youtube a good name man💯 high quality content
I'm so glad I found this channel, top class tips here
I made the chicken and the fries to help with some healthier lunches for the kids over the summer. I'm gonna try the pancake bites and tatter tots, next. Bit fan of snack city so far, and so are my kids!
“I need you people to be smarter than the freezer” 😂
This channel is so useful!
UA-cam brought me here and it did not disappoint !
Subscribed! This idea is amazing
Please do not ever delete this video !! I will need to refer back to it in a couple of years😅
Can't wait to try these! This will definitely save time and as mention, is a better option than store bought high sugar and salt snacks
Highly recommend making pastabakes for later cooking as well. Can add whatever type of protein/vegetables you want in the bake and freeze (just dont add cheese on top before freezing, add fresh cheese when cooking it). Beef/chicken stroganoff freezes really well too and all you gotta do it heat it and boil some rice.
Holy Moly ... this is just brilliant ...
how come you only have 41k subs man ? you are superb .No bs straight to topic. You are way underrated
Haha thank you 🙏
Great videos. Glad your getting recommended on my homepage.
Thank you 🙏
The "freezer motivation @ 3:25 " its hilarious🤣
So you're chasing the title of "best roommate of all time" huh? Legend status achieved in my book. Thanks for all the meal prep ideas.

🙌🙌🙌
This is interesting. Thanks
Love your content dude! excited to try
thank you 😎
ur vids r pretty high quality and good meals keep going brah
Earned my subscription! Im tired of anabolic cooking sessions that take hoursss!!
Just a tip, I'd imagine using a piping bag instead of an ice-cream scoop would save you so much time when filling up that massive tray for the pancake bites.
Ice cream scoop is good for making sure they're all the same size. The restaurant industry has ones that are specifically calibrated to various different sizes for this reason ("portion scoops")
@@ghostbirdofprey he's said in the past when meal prepping, at the end of the week it's all the same either way, so i don't imagine it's a huge issue if some are a little bigger
@@chrishavill6458 While that's true, stuff bakes and freezes better when it's all the same size as well.
@@ghostbirdofprey but he's not scooping them onto a flat tray, the mini muffin tray is as much a measure as the scoop is.
@@ghostbirdofprey There are already convenient sized holes in the muffing tray for you to fill so that you don't have to measure. He's not baking cookies on a flat tray where you need to make them roughly the same size by eye.
Yooo my man’s, helping ppl for real out here, no more depending on cheap frozen food brands
😎😎😎
I cannot wait until i have my own snack city. Thank you!
🙌🙌
Thanks for the Videos! ive been tryna cut back on my weight and this is a great way!
I have weight goals this years and this will significantly help my wife and I stay on track.
🙌🙌
this channel is sick, im hooked!!
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for the content, much appreciated. 🙏🏻
Quick way to save calories and time: use chicken tenders. They're less calories, and more protein than chicken breasts, and you don't need to cut any chicken.
I think it is the other way around.
Be smarter then the freezer. I love this guy
this was super helpful!!!
Glad it was helpful 😎
Brilliant!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
lol@be smarter than the freezer. I used to hit my thumb helping my dad hammer stuff, over and over. He always said "sigh... son... be smarter than the hammer."
I fn love this!!!!!
3:34 I am DYING. Subscribed. 😂🤣
Nice. Ive got a corner cupboard which I keep all my condiments in called (you guessed it) condiment corner.
Can you please explain what "flash freezing" means? Does it just mean put it in the freezer?
You should try poaching the fries in that water for a couple minutes.
Fries generally bake/fry up crispier if they've been par-cooked a bit.
Salad spinner would be clutch for the fries and I think you could use big zip lock bags for both the wet and dry coating right 🐔? Love the vids fam!
Awesome video thank you
😎😎
Great video, but you said flash freezing over & over while misusing the term. This is just freezing things somewhat separately, before combining into final packaging.
Flash freezing is not possible with the average home freezer, as it is extremely rapidly freezing to minimize ice crystal formation. Alton Brown did a really nice episode of Good Eats on the topic, where he shows how to flash freeze by using a cooler & dry ice that gets cold enough to freeze rapidly.
Flash freezing in a home kitchen has a different definition
@@TheMealPrepManual Not according to the experts. You're the first person in 40 years that I've seen use the term in this way.
Loved this video. I always end up buying bags of frozen french fries for the house, now I think I might just freeze my own fries; they'll be cheaper and better quality. First video I've seen of yours, now I'm subscribed.
thank you!!!
This is freaking genious.
What size cookie scoop are you using? Thanks for the great recipes!
holy shit great content thanks man!
Thanks so much! Subbed
Great content. Was wondering if you could offer an alternative for eggs for breading, I have an allergy. Much love!
Damn, I like this idea.
Love it thank you :)))
I absolutely love the "be smarter than inanimate objects" answer, I use it all the time.
I'm trying to be smarter than my freezer, but in an apartment with a bottom loader freezer(essentially a small chest freezer), I'd have to first remove all ice and then freeze in batches. Time to move I reckon 😀
In before this guy hits 1 million subs this shits gonna blow up soon the quality of this content is literally insane
thank you so much 😎
Good deal. I personally would add some black pepper and other funs stuff to the breading too.
4:05
I have a Vitamix too... YEAH...
The bad thing about watching youtube tutorials made by Americans is that you can't get half of the ingredients you need in Germany. I wish I could get egg whites, spray oil or Tapioka flour. Anyway, still loving your tutorials!
Lol
Don't know about you but I can find most of those, if not alternatives to those, right here in Belgium.
Tapioca flour can be substituted with corn starch, and if you really want tapioca flour then it's usually not hard to find a local oriental store that sells them.
Pourable egg whites are a little niche to find but are ultimately a convenience. I personally tend to use the leftover egg yolks for my carbonara sauce if I even bother separating the egg white from the yolk for these kinds of recipes. Always a use one way or the other.
Spray oil is just a massive convenience (although I'm not personally a big fan of spray-anything in cooking). You can easily get by with some regular oil and a brush. Or doing the good ol' "stick your thumb on the mouth of the bottle and drizzle away"
Americans tend to have some whacky names for certain ingredients, but as soon as you figure out what they are then it's not hard to get creative.
@@edgecutterman Yeah, of course there are substitutes. I simply use whole eggs instead of egg whites and melted butter instead of spray oil. It's just that American cooking is sometimes way more convenient and time saving. I would be way to lazy to separate my eggs. But then again, last time I was there I couldn't find Quark or Skyr (two of my main protein sources) anywhere, so it's not all bad. :-D
What freezer do you have that you can flash freeze in?
My freezers are not colder than -300F, so it's not possible for me to flash freeze in them
