It's great that there's an option for making colored glass. It looks like the paint is of good quality. I love what you made from your pieces of clear. You're creating a little walk of dancing flowers. I'd need a bench to sit on while admiring the artwork. Each piece is wonderfully unique! Thank you for sharing the process from beginning to end. 🌺
I love your gorgeous glass flowers . To display in your garden . Beautiful ideal to brighten up your garden . Thanks for sharing . How you make the flowers . Have a great evening .🌹🌻🌺🌹🌻🌺🌹🌻🌺
I have been making birdbath, birdfeeders and plant stands all summer using many of your tips & tricks! Thank YOU for the inspiration!! I MUST get some of that stained glass spray paint!! ❤
OMG! Beautiful with the stained glass paint. Thrift stores and Goodwill glass is expensive in mid-Florida. Buying glass from Dollar Tree and spray painting is a good option. Thank you for sharing!!
What beautiful designs. I'm new to your channel and have enjoyed seeing how you make th ese. I also love to see your gorgeous kitty's. They are so graceful. Thank you for sharing your work.😍😍😍
They are really beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your experience so freely. What are your thoughts on using silicone v epoxy? I've had a few pieces separate outside in use with epoxy and was surprised; the situations are ceramic glued to glass, ceramic to ceramic, and a textured glass to smooth glass. I haven't had any smooth glass to smooth glass separate. I'd like to figure out what I'm doing wrong to stay with a clear adhesive.
I use epoxy too, and usually after I glue 2 pieces together I will go back and put a little extra epoxy on it to make sure it is secure. I've also started using GE clear silicone because it seems to hold well, although it is not crystal clear.
I believe the GE silicone will withstand the heat. It works better than E6000 I have found, although it is not crystal clear. The epoxy holds well too so far : )
Thank you! I had to re-glue the hockey pucks to the flower with epoxy because the silicone didn't hold well (glass on plastic) but other than that they are still looking good : )

Thank you. I can’t find colored glass and this idea is great.
Glad it was helpful! I have a hard time finding colored glass too! So far this paint is holding up well with the clear-coat over it : )

How have your first flowers held up in the weather? I love all of your totems, bird feeders, birdbaths and flowers. You give me inspiration! ❤
Thank you! I had to re-glue the hockey pucks to the flower with epoxy because the silicone didn't hold well (glass on plastic) but other than that they are still looking good : )
Are they special paints or ordinary acrylic??
Krylon stained glass spray paint.
I was unaware there was stain glass spray paint. How much of the paint can did it take to do the flowers? Beautiful creations,
I still have a lot left over. It depends how dark you want the color to be. I used about 4 coats. Some use 2 : )
i checked this paint out but it says indoor use.. I am afraid it will not keep color well outside..
I put a clear coat over it so will see. It seems to be holding up well : )
