The wire will rust quickly outside you was better off leaving in the plastic fishing line. I use fishing line all the time in my garden to hold up climbing rose bushes grapes etc and not a problem yrs later still no issues

Just a comment i.e. Suggestion.... Check any glassware to be sure they are truly colored glass and not painted. If painted, you can usually tell by looking through the base. If painted it will usually be clear. If you put painted glass outside the color will eventually flake off. I learned that the hard way.☹️

You prefer JB epoxy over E6000. Could you explain the reasons for your preference?

OMG! Beautiful with the stained glass paint. Thrift stores and Goodwill glass is expensive in mid-Florida. Buying glass from Dollar Tree and spray painting is a good option. Thank you for sharing!!
