    After seeing a few TikToks and UA-cam shorts, I decided to see if I couldn't do this. i ended up on your tutorial videos and now I've been stuck watching your content, motivated to go to work and save money so I can start my own projects. I've always loved art. Pottery, painting, drawing, crochet. and I've been told I'm really good, that I learn fast. Now i want to try Stained Glass and my whole family is so supportive. They asked me to make an amazon list of the things I would need, and they'll give it to me for Christmas. Hopefully soon, you'll scroll on TikTok, X or Instagram one day and see my work! Thank you for introducing me to this beautiful hobby.

    Amaya, I want to thank you for introducing me with the thing I fell in love doing. After watching you doing amazing works I attained 2 stained glass workshop ateliers. I’m in love with the process as well as the products. I was in search for a hobby that I’d do for the rest of my life and came across with your videos. Your method is perfect and I aim to get as good as you and have my own atelier in a couple years. Keep up the good work, will always be thankful for the inspiration 🧚🏻‍♂️

    What is the sticky paper you peel off the glass? Why do you cut the glass on the plastic screen? I really appreciate you sharing how you cut glass😊

    • @AmayaJade
      @AmayaJade  4 місяці тому

      It’s weatherproof sticker paper & the plastic screen is a waffle grid mat that catches all the tiny shards! 😊

    Hello, good work, where do you get the template with numbers? I am writing from Turkey, I have never seen it here. I am also dealing with glass fusion, the number template is a very nice idea, thank you.

    Where do you get your glass? I would like something larger than the 4x6 options on Amazon.

      “Anything in stained glass” and “Delphi glass” are good options for glass online!

    Is soldering really necessary for glass cutting cause it’s really expensive and dangerous 😢 for me I have always wanted to do glass cutting but when I saw how much the material costs I am very hesitant about it I don’t even have a printer to even start so please answer my question please I love your vids

      Stained glass art isn't exactly the most safe hobby out there, you are working with broken glass which is sharp before being sanded down, chemicals such as grinder coolant, flux and optionally patina if you plan on staining the solder black or copper, and yes solder itself which contains lead as well as the soldering iron which is heated to high tempuratures. (And no, solder isn't optional sorry) These are things to consider, as well as the costs of equipment and supplies. I'd suggest maybe looking online or on community pages in your area to see if there's stained glass making classes or something so you can try it first to see if it'd actually be worth investing your time money and energy into xx
