Dog faces are popular amongst korean men. There are also cat, deer, fox, bunny, etc. (ex of kangaji for men is Jeno from NCT Dream and for women is Tiffany from Girls Generation)

When i was in korea as a foreign girl i experienced this: korean guys are THE MOST SHY guys in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (of course not all of them - you cant put all of them together) And most of them really like their homecountry girls. Idont care at all, it's just a fact. i think "chubby" in korea means girls like mamamoo's Whasa, or sistar's hyorin. anyone with even the tiniest bit of curves is "chubby" there, which is why they prefer "chubby" (aka thin but with a bit of curves) over "thin" (aka bones showing and super slim)
yea but for korea, if you want to know the ideal type of the general public, just take a look at celebrities. while every person is still different , in korea there's still mainly only one specific type of face and body that is considered attractive, so the difference between celebs and real people isn't that big there
thin= a size 0-2 in korea, and chubby is like a size 4-8 in korea...... and they usually consider over like size ten fat.. you also have to consider that fact that each person bone structure, height and shape is different or a person could look like a size 5 but really wears a size 3 or 7, i dont know why that happens but i'm a fashion design major and also work in retail.. the human body is complicated :/ i'm a size 5-7, i have thicker thighs, but a small waist so i "look" like a size 3 but my thighs wont fit... by the looks or my thighs korean people would consider me chubby i think..

I've watched the interview where Japanese guys were asked if they like chubby girls or thin girls and only one out of like 15 guys said they liked thin girls and would definitely not date chubby girls meanwhile most Korean guys in this video prefer chubby girls😭 I have so much more cofidence now to move to korea! You can't say all Koreans b/c not only does this video prove otherwise, but even so, this video only has like 7 guys responding. If you believe that the entire population believes exactly the same thing based on 7 guys' opinions, then there's no point in further discussing anything with you.
A couple months ago I was looking at a height and weight chart for China. I assume South Korea would be somewhat similar. If a woman is 5'5, she is in the 80th percentile. If a woman is 5'7, she is in the 96th percentile. For most Asians, 5'5 is tall. Then you have my friend who thinks anyone under 5'10 is on the shorter side.

When i was in korea as a foreign girl i experienced this: korean guys are THE MOST SHY guys in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (of course not all of them - you cant put all of them together) And most of them really like their homecountry girls. Idont care at all, it's just a fact.
I also personally think, that too many people are too superficial. Korean people care too much about lookings. of course it is completly normal to get attracted to someone whos beautiful. but in korea i have the feeling they just limit themselves and their dreampartner on how he / she looks! it kinda got out of control with all the plastic surgerys. and i cant believe that they treating it like going to a dentist. i dont understand how people are not trying to learn how to love themselves just who they are. but it is true. korea is just an another culture. and it is sad how important beauty is there. but beauty can be found so much more wonderful in personalities, in being kind, having a warm heart, being understandable, respecting or even in moments, in the nature, in everything that surrounds us! and this beauty is so much more worth! and when someone is beautiful inside, they are also beautiful on the outside. good looks only impress maybe at the first sight. but when there is no beauty behind it, it is gone. that is really important.
I am myself was rreally shoked about how most of korean people think about beauty.

i think "chubby" in korea means girls like mamamoo's Whasa, or sistar's hyorin. anyone with even the tiniest bit of curves is "chubby" there, which is why they prefer "chubby" (aka thin but with a bit of curves) over "thin" (aka bones showing and super slim)
I think Minzy is chubby in Korea. Her legs are not soooo thin like other Korean girls. I think that's what they like. Curvy bodies.
yea but for korea, if you want to know the ideal type of the general public, just take a look at celebrities. while every person is still different , in korea there's still mainly only one specific type of face and body that is considered attractive, so the difference between celebs and real people isn't that big there
thin= a size 0-2 in korea, and chubby is like a size 4-8 in korea...... and they usually consider over like size ten fat.. you also have to consider that fact that each person bone structure, height and shape is different or a person could look like a size 5 but really wears a size 3 or 7, i dont know why that happens but i'm a fashion design major and also work in retail.. the human body is complicated :/
i'm a size 5-7, i have thicker thighs, but a small waist so i "look" like a size 3 but my thighs wont fit... by the looks or my thighs korean people would consider me chubby i think..

This was really nice. I feel these guys were quite different from what I expected. I bet if you asked girls these same questions, it would be different, and I wonder how much of it would be fueled by societal biases on “what Korean guys like.” It was really refreshing to hear what a few of the men actually had to say. There are a lot more varying opinions than I realized.

I've watched the interview where Japanese guys were asked if they like chubby girls or thin girls and only one out of like 15 guys said they liked thin girls and would definitely not date chubby girls meanwhile most Korean guys in this video prefer chubby girls😭 I have so much more cofidence now to move to korea! BARBARA ALVES Some of the interviewees specifically say they look for personality, emphasize the importance of communication, etc. You're overgeneralizing based off of particular answers which were given by the interviewees in response to pointed questions. You can't say all Koreans b/c not only does this video prove otherwise, but even so, this video only has like 7 guys responding. If you believe that the entire population believes exactly the same thing based on 7 guys' opinions, then there's no point in further discussing anything with you.

A couple months ago I was looking at a height and weight chart for China. I assume South Korea would be somewhat similar. If a woman is 5'5, she is in the 80th percentile. If a woman is 5'7, she is in the 96th percentile. For most Asians, 5'5 is tall. Then you have my friend who thinks anyone under 5'10 is on the shorter side.
