It's my first time watching your show. You and Caroline should be on mainstream television with your own show. You have an attention to detail and are very knowledgeable. Now about Caroline she has personality for days and is way pretty.
i would disagree, this show is better than main stream anything. i do agree, more people should watch this type of stuff. i wish more eyes on the show and same heart for a long time.
Just found this on accident, love how you two have fun, may be my new favorite video. It's almost 0300hrs. I'm wide awake drinking coffee and watching this as we speak ❤
Definitely not a failure. Look at all the wonderful memories you and your pops made. Those are the things you’ll be able to cherish forever. Way to go. You guys did awesome!!
I'm really proud of you guys. You showed how loving and committed you guys are to each other. The car is a car and they really aren't ever finished. On each of your last days you will cherish the time you spent and that is what that car represents.....I don't even know you guys and I'm so proud....😊
Just a suggestion, but for now, that little gap you have on that missing trim piece by the front windshield driver side, they do sell a thing at hobby lobby that is called liquid chrome. Either make you a little piece and paint it with that, by the way it is good stuff, just let it dry for a solid 24 hours. And from 5 ft away you won't be able to notice it. I just thought I'd throw that out there.
A true car enthusiast means not giving up, no matter what life throws at you. A build that took this long shows real commitment and dedication and love for this life. What most don’t understand about a car taking so long to complete is sometimes other responsibilities happen and the car needs to be put aside. The car is in a state of storage for 3/4 of the build time. You really don’t see it much.
Well done all, the Charger looks great. Unfortunate to miss Powertour, but you now have the opportunity to get her really sorted before her debut at whatever show you choose. All the best for continuing success from Christchurch NZ.
Watching your video from Ukraine. I grew up in a country where different cars were driven, but I'm very fond of old classic American cars. Now I have a Challenger in the same color as your ‘68 Charger, and I love it very much! Wishing you success in your new projects. You are awesome!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤this is my first time watching y’all , your daughter seems to know a lot about cars, she’s awesome. So so beautiful and awesome y’all are so funny
Great video! And I wish you all the needed luck to finish the Charger! As you said, you earned experience. For the carburetor too high and instead of cutting the hood I would replace the intake manifold with an Edelbrock Torker II, about the same height as the original one.
This was a Great, He made sure to explain exactly what the Initial Problem was, the individual steps he took to see if that would either Fix the Problem or at least, slow down the oil consumption, and then followed up with another Video to report back on his findings a few weeks later. Make sure you Follow Him which will unlock his Channel, which is full of Videos of all types of Car Repairs and other things.
You guys really are the dream team! Love the shop shenanigans too, y’all always make me laugh! Can’t wait to see the charger all done and burning rubber 🤘😎🇺🇸
What a beautiful car you folks built. It's a shame the way things turn out. I can't stand anyone getting sick. It's just a horrible feeling. But just look what you folks did.. my oh my... Hope you get better soon
Yes! The elusive headers starter on a four forty! Your best bet is to loosen the motor mount on the driver's side.Jack it up with a loose header.Place your starter in there.Tighten that up and then lower it back down.
Keep on it when all is well. Give yourselves 60 days to finish your 68 charger. And you still aren't done with your car, Give yourselves another 60 days, when your charger is complete and completely put together, look at anything and everything to see if you can make that part of your car better, like the hood, and what ever, whatever, whatever!!!!!! As a car enthusiast, there is always next year. And that's the fun of car shows. There will always be one or two or three. Anyway, I enjoyed your show, and thank you for sharing your family project with us all, Your 68 charger is stunning and beautiful ... Keep up the good work and good morning to you all.
You guys did an amazing job. What a badass car. Just amazing. My brother has his 1969 Dodge charger General Lee. I’m going to find a 1969 or 1968 Dodge charger going to do the same thing. Keep up the good work.
Great job so far. Only thing i noticed that was off was that when you prime a 440, you need to have the valve covers off in order to see if you're getting oil out of the rockers. You sometimes have to bump the engine so that some oiling holes line up in order for the oil to come up. And then do the same to the other side as well.
Mopars are so expensive to work on , my long time friend has few mopars so been around few and help him build couple 440 with 700 plus HP . Congratulations on yours!
You guys are riot, you work together very well and if you don't mind i love you guys, but i love Caroline most.I know she's only 24 and im 76 so don't get worried im not an ole pervert so i live in western kansas and im glad i ran across you two.
Hey 11 years of wanting to make it perfect 👌 few weekends and its multiple drag and drives ,for the next , two months to get it all lined out and addressed to have family dreams cruise over to your favorite places and go share it without you have any issues or not working on it in your amazing shop and on side of the road you will get the car done when its done dont worry be HAPPY 😊 lifes too short for our passions to make us stressed out just saw your channel for the first time visiting i subscribed and then watched it and I just wanted to let everyone know what memories we have forever will come in later in life that first time fired up your going to get a chuckled smile every time you think about it when you get reminded by something else or just telling the story about you building the car in 40 years from now and its been passed on to b e your car and dads in something like that nova and its got 2000 hp twin turbo small block that spin up 9 grand and hes does mile racing 🏁 lol you never know where life is going to bring you as passing into a single person that can change the rest of your life live it to the fullest and keep wrenching.😅
Just a heads up, my buddy Todd at A&P Performance in Murrieta CA swears by Hondabonk for any kind of gasket leaks. It is by far the best at sealing leaks.
Hey you guys I have never watched your video until now love you two guys .Dad you have the young lady I always dreamed of she's so gorgeous.ill be watching you guys from now on love you
Permatex black plastic welder hardens like a rock in 10 min and can be drilled, filed and sanded. I used it on my black console cracks and missing holes for clips.
i had always wanted a dodge dart and finally after years i found one and managed to get it for free. i had a 440/30 over set up for it and i thought my dream was finally gonna happen. well after having it in my hands for less than a week i came home from work to find my oldest son had taken a sawsall to it slicing the drip rails off of both sides and not too neatly i might add....i was so heart broken i scrapped the whole project and pretty much gave up on trying anything else. never trust a dream with a 16yr old....
20 years on mine, mostly because of money and health issues, head liner and vinyl top this week, hopefully done by fall or early spring next year, labor of love and lots and lots of money, figured the cost and x by 3 ahhhhh
hi good ep you cannot rush to get the car done .should have been done sooner then at the last minute. there will be other power tours around the country which you can do.
Hello, you super nice and funny people have done the right thing in my eyes, but I'm also just a stupid Dane, so what do I know. just thinking there will be a trip next year, good luck to you then. 😊
I say you all did an outstanding job. One thing that bugs the living daylights out of me is when people put an unreasonable time limit on something and start cutting corners. Take your time, do it right! There will always be another meet. Things go on all the time. Just thing how much more special the car will be to you and how much better you will feel about the car if each and every step was done the absolute best you can. Just Sh!t happens. No problem, step back and give it time. I am not a Mopar person but the work I see here I can really appreciate and it looks great. If it were me, I would get a better hood, paint it to match. Just saying.
No, that's an adjuster that turns, those cut outs are suppose to be there, there are a lot of you tube videos to show how to do that, the axle has to be installed and the end play should be around .010 of an inch and there should be a locking tab you have to remove before you adjust then replaced when done to keep that ring, with the cut outs, from turning.
I'm so happy you got the Charger done. I'd be honored to cruise with you guys 🍻
This young lady is going to make some dude a happy man nothing like a car girl!

Thank you, these are inspiring words.
Love your video you two are cool together. Please call him Dad, he has earned that.

Good call! We'll have to give that a try.

My first time watching your channel. I had a '72 Hemi Ranger, those Chrysler are a classic ❤ So I'll continue watching to the end.
You guys are fantastic. I love seeing that you guys have wonderful hearts.
Thank you so much!
Well done all, the Charger looks great. Unfortunate to miss Powertour, but you now have the opportunity to get her really sorted before her debut at whatever show you choose. All the best for continuing success from Christchurch NZ.
Thx for watching!👍
That 68 Charger is nearly as badass as our Vipers:) It's a passion. I'm excited to see how your Charger turns out 🍻
Hope James is feeling better! 🙏🙏 A valiant effort! Bummer you did not make it, but the Charger is coming along very nicely! 😊👍
Thanks 👍JB is 100% now.

Deadlines usually bite you in the rear, especially the nicer the build.
Huge props to you all for the huge push, you’re almost there!

I think the Holley Street Dominator intake is the lowest. That's what I use on projects.
Caroline is the best narrator on UA-cam. Keep up the great work
Wow, thank you!
Love POR 15. Its actually a rust "converter". makes a hard, sandible surface that you can then paint over.
Love your channel, and I love Mopar even more. Next project a barracuda or road runner would be awesome.. keep on 🔧😎
You two are so awesome. Beautiful Mopar and just subscribed. Keep up the good work
This young lady is what every guy wants a car girl she's awesome

Thx, I needed help with that, it’s really ugly how they make it look.
Great great video!!!
Thank you!
Jamie Atwood from Dead Dodge Garage has a lot of videos with his 68 charger, and is great for questions.
Thx, will look them up
Hope James gets better soon 🙏

Roger that! Thx👍
Nice job.
But will those wipers be as cool as a Vipers sword fighting wipers? :)
Hello, you super nice and funny people have done the right thing in my eyes, but I'm also just a stupid Dane, so what do I know. just thinking there will be a trip next year, good luck to you then. 😊

If you ever have any issues with your GTS, my mechanic is a specialist with gen 1 and 2 Vipers. He's based here in Huntington Beach, SMS European.
Did I mention how beautiful your Viper is? :)
