Glad to see people enjoying the low rider s. Just bought a brand new 2021 low rider s and I’m currently loving it. Still have to deal with 900 more miles before the break in period is over. Even with taking it easy this bike is an absolute monster and I would recommend it to anyone who’s curious about this bike. It’s light enough to throw around but heavy enough to deal with 100 mph speeds on the highway with zero difficulty. Everything you could possibly look for in a cruiser is present with this bike. It may to have the same comfort as a touring bike but will blow them out of the water as far as speed and performance are concerned. Anyone looking to buy this bike please message me and I’ll answer any questions you have.
I bought one back in December, I'm 6'0 barefoot and the bars fit perfectly. I'm keeping the mid controls and adding some kind of highway peg/crash bar. I've ridden over 30 years and was pleasantly surprised by the Low Rider S. Great machine!!
It's awesome. I test-rode one as well. I also like your friend's chrome T-bar. I don't see many of those, and it matches the bike quite well. Thanks for the video.
I just bought this bike last weekend (9/7/19). I can 100% vouch for everything that @ASJOSHSEESIT has stated. I rode the 2017 and was super impressed for the aging Dyna platform. I was absolutely crushed when the Dyna was discontinued, and the prices of the used dyna's shot up over $4-5K. I was coming from a modified 2012 Sportster 48. The Softtail platform in and of itself is a HUGE upgrade in ride comfort and power (as to be expected). I was blown away with every single point mentioned in this video. He is 100% spot on! To be honest, I'm not surprised in the difference from the 107 Stage 1 to a stock 114, You're talking 110cc difference between the engines. What was different to me in feel, was the rigid mounted motor, so you do feel it a bit more in the bike. Which I LOVED being able to feel a bit more of the bike. It is NOT "Cruiser" oriented like a touring bike, nor is it a flat out racer. I personally feel it's a great balance in between.
I just got mine 2 weeks ago. I haven't really ride it yet, but the little riding I did, I'm not disappointed. I have to get used to the feel of high torque low RPM bike, coming from supersport and all.
I just bought a 2019 1000mi low rider due to it had all the chrome. Which I prefer. But the test drive on the new bike was great. Your the 1st review who dod not hate this bike. Nice👌
my dream bike was always the street glide special but now i dont know which one i would choose x) things they could change on it is adding cruise control, a 117 motor and RDRS...than it would be the perfect bike!
I would have liked to see a 117 also on the Streets model. I would also like to see more colors than just black and silver. Lastly not a fan of the mini fairing. I have test rode this bike and a different exhaust would be the first thing I would do.
I see you have a 2019 Road Glide Special, you think it's worth it going from a Road Glide to the Low Rider S? I've been giving it some thought since I don't do long road trips that much. Thanks!
I'v opened my wallet and put a deposit down. I'm having a full stage 3 fitted, with a Bassani 2:1 Road rage, air cleaner and tune some 8" risers and some cosmetic changes, integrated indicator / running lights front and rear and a side mounted licence plate holder, flip the mirrors and have all the grey bits painted / powder coated denim black, so the tank console, the primary cover the cylinder heads (done as part of the stage 3). Then I'm having a Saddleman step up seat, and fitting pillion pegs, while we're going that going to get the Kahuna collection pegs and grips fitted all round. Trouble is I'm currently working in China so will have to wait until 2021 to take delivery. But it'll be worth it. Also interesting to hear you think it'll handle road trips as that was my thing a few years back. OK, now I'm that bit older (56) it'll be hotels rather than camping, but I can see a European road trip summer 2021 / 22. (I'm a Brit I'll be living in UK).
I'm getting this as my first bike this weekend. Deal is done. My main focus is clutch slipping. I know this bitch is stupid powerful so I just want to ease into it. Probably go out when it rains a couple times to force myself to be slow and easy on my inputs.
$450.00 installed?? I'm strongly considering getting that shock on mine. I'm going to buy the bike in February. How much did it change on the ride going down the highway? Thanks
Mike Essary no idea I had it put on from the go. You can get the cobra el Diablo 2 into 1 exhaust for 580$ at Dennis Kirk. It’s not that expensive to trick your bike out.
Nice review. Travis looks like hit fits on the Low Rider S perfect. How tall is Travis and what is his inseam? I'm 6 foot with a 34 inseam and it seems a little cramped. For me, I feel like my knees are up high. The seat height is low so that would probably be my first upgrade.
Wished that you would had turn the camera so that we could actually see him sitting and riding that awesome bike,we did get a few glimpses but really...it would have been nice to see it more.
I think this might be my next one.. I want a two into one pipe.. out the store.. maybe some Vikings hard bags, sissy bar, and a saddle man seat. Depends on how mid the pegs are.. done forward controls.. I like my knees stretched out.. not cramped
Thanks for the review on the Lowrider S what a great bike! So on the 2020 S models they do not come with a stage 1 anymore?? I have the 16FLSS S model and it came with stage 1 from factory.
I guess it's halfway there, it does come with an intake on it, so all you would need to do is purchase a full exhaust and then download a tune. I'm thinking doing cams and going Stage 2 would be beast on this bike!
@@joshmorrisofficial I think I would do a stage 3 on the S rather than a stage 4 as I want more power in the low and mid range rather than at higher rpm.
First 😁! Thanks for the review. I would like to know how it's possible to lean and turn with that amazing bike? In France the low rider s will arrive at the end of September...so I need to wait to test it😓 Thanks from France✌
Massimo, we weren't able to find any hairpin turns in North Texas but I can say from the few corners I did take, this bike handles extremely well. Definitely worth a test ride.
I love that bike I would love to place chrome pipes on it with black heat shields on it and a 4 inch windscreen attached to the small fairing other than that yeah love it I am hoping to get back on a harley next year
Yeah it’s also 200 pounds lighter then a bagger! You can rip and throw this around so much easier than a Roadglide etc. as I’ve owned 3 Roadglides. I choose this bike over a new Roadglide

All there bikes should have inverted forks and dual disc. No excuses! I Do like my low rider. They used the fat bob frame for that bike so wouldn't be the same to throw the front end on mine.
Josh Beideman depends on your riding style. if you are a cautious , careful type of rider then this bike would be fine. I'm pretty sure being short this bike would have a lower seat height then the sportster. if you think you will be riding with buddies and may have a tendency to show off, definitely get a smaller bike. the sportster to me would be a better starter bike for you as you can pick up a used sportster for a couple grand with low miles, ride it a year then turn around and sell it next year for about the same money. next like a said a couple grand for a nice used sportster starter bike, or probably close to 20 grand or so for this bike

119 ft-lb on the S and 111 ft=-lb on the base low rider not much power gain but I guess the torque curve on the 114 is what makes it much faster at lower rpm's
