I watch this video 10 times a day every day for the last month. I just put my deposit down today! Black with a black TBR 2 TO 1! Waiting on those taxes. Hopefully my nerves can calm down because I'm literally worried I'm going to have a fucking heart attack. I got my dream bike! It’s been a BLAST!
Oh God! Why are you riding in the left lane? JK, been to the UK, almost got hit by an English Taxi, I was trying to get a pint at the pub across the street in Westminster, the driver stopped two inches away from hitting me and said, "Are you bloody crazy!" Best memory of being in London. I love my brothers and sisters from across the pond! Miami my home was quite the interesting topic in the pub. I made many friends that wanted to know about Amurica. I love all my memories in London! Miss you guys so much, being from Chicago, I will never forget spending time with such friendly personalities! And the food was OUTSTANDING! Whoever say the food in the UK is bland and doesn't taste like anything, you obviously have never been there! BEST FOOD EVER!
One of my favorite parts of visiting London for work once a quarter is that on occasion I'll hear a HD booming around the city and whether it is Shoreditch or the Financial district, Chelsea etc it sounds amazing.
I know what you mean. I had a 30 mile test drive last week and now my lovely XL1200 feels like a "girls' bike" , as the big harley dudes like to tell you!
I used to race supermoto. Dont fancy sport bikes for the road tho. Bought a HD Blackline two years ago. This year probably gonna buy this. Harleys can be fun too. The difference is that doing 60mph on this bike is as much fun as doing 120mph on a supersport.
Seen a few reveiws, but this is the first one on roads that I know well. This makes it much more real and helpful. Very brave going down Crocknorth (13% downhill I believe) at that speed and not surprised the gravel caught you. But more impressively, the composure of the bike on those roads seems exceptional. For those who don't know, there is some seriously bumpy crap in there. And just out of interest, at 11.15 that road is part of the Olympic course and from there you can actually see the arches of Wembley Stadium. Good review.
At 6ft 1” I had to go with the forward controls, physically couldn’t ride it with the mid set up. One thing I noticed with a higher body mass than you the suspension was not heavy or harsh at all, not soft but definitely a comfortable sporty set up. I have the same exhaust. Best Harley-Davidson I have ever owned or ridden.
Moved to this bike after a few thousand miles on an Iron 1200. It ain’t cheap but I feel it’s worth it. Quick points: Pros: The low riding position makes it feel incredibly stable at high speeds. Amazing power through the gears Comfortable ride (especially coming from a sporty) Looks good straight from the dealership Still gets 48 mpg Decent aftermarket support with 2+ years of softails The 5 gallon gas tank makes a huge difference. 200+ mile range on a larger bike The stock wheels look great Cons: You will want to change out at least the pipes (possibly the full exhaust) immediately. Emissions limitations make this sound like a sewing machine. It’s not the motor, it’s the ridiculous mufflers. The faring needed to be bigger or just ship it without and let the customer add it themselves. Either would have worked. A 2-up seat would have been nice given the power the bike comes with. Nothing Saddlemen or Whiplash can’t fix. Maybe do a partnership with Vans and throw the grips on there right away. Dyna Bros would love it. FXLRS FTW. Best all around bike in the lineup
I got the very 1st one in TN, it has become one of my favorite bikes I have ever owned, that includes over 50 so it is a big statement for how good this bike is. I added CVO heated grips, cruise control and saddlebags. Looking at an exhaust next so this 2BR pipe will get a strong look, sounds great! Great review!

I love the look and presence of that bike. Had a Dyna sport and a cafe race style FXR before. But the suspension should be better (regulated) and the seat more stiff. Also why no cruise control for the longer stretches. But in this sett up (exhaust) , some bags and from steps i like it a lot . Nice video , thanks.
Got mine a couple of weeks ago here in australia, unbelievable bike, so much fun. Suspension pretty harsh up the front so I’m probably going to get some Öhlins cartridges. Tossing up which exhaust I’m going to get, thinking bassani road rage 11 at this stage but that TBR sound wicked too.

So if I haven't misunderstood, a full stage 4 includes a stage 1(filter, pipe, autotuner) @ roughly £1000 + labour. After that you stick the stage four kit on it which 8ncludes the big bore cylinders, new cams , piston heads etc. That will set you back another £2900 + labour and will land you 4k plus. I guess you need the stage 2 torque kit as well. That's another 500 plus labour. So £4400 plus labour. And the bike is 16k so I 5bink it would be reasonable to consider another 2k in labour. £22 + change ..... Guuuh that's steep.
Thx for the video, bought the LRS and love it except for the stiff front. I wanted this bike to be a comfy yet sporty cruiser, but the bad roads and stiff suspension is killing me. HD should sue UK government for these license plates. You may as well put a few lines on it and use it as a sail. At least downwind in UK performs better than the rest of the world. Next thing you should do is make up your mind with the metric systems in UK. FFS choose one and stick to it. 18.9 liters of fuel and 42 miles per gallon?!?!?! Not mentioning driving on the wrong side of the road. With every UK review, I feel like seconds from disaster...especially on the roundabouts.
Exhaust needs to be in black, the shiny chrome looks awful!!! Besides, the wheels are an ugly color and unattractive design !!! Also, the gauge needs to be up higher ! This is a parts bin bike! Bring back the Dam Dyna!!! Cheaper and better looking !
That isn't fair to this specific model to call it a "parts bin bike" when we all know that EVERY Harley is a parts bin bike. This bike comes with more than I'd have to buy if I wanted to build a street bob to compete with it and I still wouldn't have the inverted forks. I think this bike would've sold if they wanted 20k for it. For 3000 more than a Street Bob you get a SHIT TON!

Harley-Davidson Low Rider S 2020 cost 50.000 dollers in Denmark. no f way iam buying it
And when you import it yourself ???
@@scootjockey nope we have harley davidson stores all over denmark. but idk why harley is soo expensive here. but all bikes and cars costs ALOT more in DK. cus of all the insane taxes.. in Denmark the state takes 40% of your monthly income. and then we have free healh care and so on. but still insane taxes on bikes and cars.
@@schottdk You must surley earn more,if the taxes are so high? in the Uk NHS is free BUT you can,t get an appointment because of the influx of migrant,s.any way thats another story.I am pretty sure if you get a re-import it would be cheaper, BUT you may lose any guarantee.
@@scootjockey in DK if u import bikes or cars. u have to pay 25% in
VAT. and then taxes.
Remember that the bike and the manufacturer isn’t the reason you won’t buy it. It’s because of the insane f’ing taxes that are imposed on y’all. Problem here is this: the politicians that set these tax policies can all afford to buy one.
Great vid... but dude you’re driving on the wrong side of the road
Gosh darn it! Thought it felt weird! 😂😁
Those aren't stock pipes.
I literally say this at 3:06.
‘It could not get any muddier down there “ ... he said = butt stuff joke
Buy an 80s Vmax for a fraction of the cost of this Harley.
I dont think I've ever gotten nearly 40 mpg with mine. XD
Was I wishful thinking? 🤔😁
cool👍
Why are all the roads so damn narrow. Build a proper two lane road for f'ks sake. Badass bike though
When I look at vidoes of anywhere in the US I think, "Why are the damn roads so wide?". It's fun here.
@@Englishbikerdan Lol, gotcha Dan.
Man, it’s fuckin nice...🤟
Obligatory speedometer blur.
Man that computer should be on the triple clamp not out on the bar. Looks bloody stupid.
Computer! ☔
I like bikes. I don't like knowing your inner leg measurements 😖
You love it Roberto!
the only horrible thing in this bike is a sitting position
Thank you . i looking to buy one . narhing like a harley . i feel sorry for you guys in ingland .? shitty roads . why ingland ??? Get with the rest of the world evolve !
Don't feel sorry for us, England is great. Especially our language. 😉
More intrusive and distracting pseudo music thereby reinforcing the YT Presenters' obsession with metronome mind mucking. Oh, well. Goodbye.
See ya. 🙄
It's to quiet
My ears said different! :D
Your videos are awesome and content is great BUT Harley is overpriced garbage, other brands please!!
Mr. ZiggedWhenHeShuddaZagged ...If Harley Davidson’s are garbage, then why do most people aspire to owning one, besides you. I, like many others, like reviews on Harley Davidson’s. Don’t decide for everyone else.
If you don’t like videos on Harley Davidson’s, then you shouldn’t be here trolling. All you have to do is not watch.
Have a nice day Mr.
Cause most ppl are dumb? Love how ppl troll comments to call ppl trolls like their hypocrisy is superior...
Mr. ZiggedWhenHeShuddaZagged ...You’re not that smart. Stop flattering yourself, and do some growing up, and oh yes get off this video if you don’t like it.
How grown up is it for someone to engage in criticism on UA-cam? Your comments are no better than mine, what’s the point in your comments? My initial comment is a valid viewpoint from a viewer to increase Dan’s advertising revenue potential, me saying for him to review other brands means I will watch more of his videos, you crying about my opinion serves zero purpose, I didn’t “troll” through the comments looking for your comments to try and tell you your opinion is wrong so keep quiet if you can’t offer anything constructive.. is that intelligent enough for you?
Are we talking from experience or stories from drunk mates at the pub?
New harleys are overpriced junk.
How do you really feel? 😂
