    Hi Rob thanks for your videos I also have a 343 which was damaged and Ive rebuilt. There's not many 343 vids on here so great to see yours. Im finishing jobs and need to launch in spring and find someone to teach me to sail her!. Great sized boat I love it. I'm struggling to find where the autopilot attaches to the rudder quadrant and the goit wheel to wheel pilot if you can help at all, does yours have rubber inserts I see some on eBay but not sure if will work. When you lifting her or still sailing for now. I look forward to the upcoming vids cheers Chris

      Hi Chris, thanks for the kind words, makes it all worth while. What was the extent of the damage on the boat and did it occur in your ownership or brought as a project? They are great boats but reversing mine with twin rudders is a pain in the backside given how tight my berth is. I’m also getting lifted out where I’ll start the big jobs but it’s coming together nicely. Where are you based ? I’ll take a few pictures when I’m down on the weekend on the setup. The auto pilot isn’t connect directly to the rudders. Its driven by the wheel. Drop me a line on rob331222@hotmail.co.uk and I’ll send you some images over.

      Thanks Rob my boat is currently next to the hamble . I bought as a project it was pretty bad. I will send some pictures on the email you sent over weekend too. Where there's not many of these around has made some jobs harder so your help is so appreciated. Speak over weekend enjoy working on the boat im at mine tomorrow too. Never ending jobs but I love it cheers Chris

      @@chrisbyrne4492 must be a nightmare working on it, everything I have had to do is really difficult as access is restricted by small hatches and everything is moulded in in such as the secondary ceiling liners making rewiring cables very difficult to conceal. At least you will know your boat inside out when you have a problem which is important when you need to fix something on the fly. Look forward to it. If you need any other images let us know. And I’ll be traveling past in June for a trip to the Channel Islands 👌🏼

    Are the speakers always involved? Or can you listen the music just in the boat also? We can’t find the right way to set the spaekers off in our boat

      Hi the MP3 player has 4 speaker outputs on 2 different channels FRONT & BACK. I can turn the back channel up which is connected to the speakers on the back of the boat (outside) and have the speakers inside the boat off or I can have the ones outside ff and the speakers inside on if it’s late. Hope that helps 👌🏼

      Hi, I’m going to get the boat lifted out soon. Its been in the water for 2 years so needs to dry out. All the big jobs will start. Replacing all the sea cocks and plumbing, new toilet, replace bilge pumps, batteries, flushing out all the water tanks, servicing the main engine and replacing the front curved window as it has a small leak and is scratched. The boat will be perfect perfect after this and ready for some big trips in summer! Hows you boat? I saw your ski to the boat and snow removal. Looked great fun and your boat looked very dry 👌🏼

      @@EastCoastSailing_ that’s a long list :o but I’m sure in the end it will serve you well for the next summer and beyond with all the upgrades. I also have to change most of the electrics, new batts, tweaks here and there, lift up and the do the bottom. Boat work never ends but I enjoy taking care of my boat 😁

    What type of plug did you take on the cable?

    • @EastCoastSailing_
      @EastCoastSailing_  11 місяців тому

      Hi, just a steel spade crimp that you use for cable connecting for any 12volt wiring. Worked fine 👌🏼
