It's another example of the 2 tier justice system. Paul Manafort was sent to prison for 5 years for failing to register under FARA. Hunter wasn't even charged with it.
Also, the Biden family used a web of shell companies to receive millions of dollars from foreign entities and haven't explained what their business is or anything. That has to be investigated.

Any other person caught with a gun in this scenario with drugs, tax crimes, foreign lobbying etc would be in jail - no plea deal. And the fact he goes from pleading guilty to pleading not guilty right away, is laughable.

The deal was deliberately written in a vague manner that if it was completed, it WOULD be accepted as all inclusive. Ambiguities are generally awsrded to the defendant. Since the Judge questioned it, that vagueness is removed and it can no longer be used as intended, so it was withdrawn. They will try another ambiguous plea deal but hopefully the Judge will remain alert. Lawers are trained how to lie and make it look honest, that's the problem with making them law makers.
IF, this judge is ever used again. My bet is she will not. In a month or two it will be "what was the name of THAT judge?"
Hunter's attorney had to admit when asked if there was any precedent for a deal like this and the answer was no. He got the deal because his father is the President of the United States.

He should not have been able to be eligible for diversion. It was a scam from the start. FARA was broken and he should be in jail just like Manafort was.
Both sides were banking on "plausible deniability" that would allow Hunter to walk away a free man. The problem is/was they got an honest judge.
It's not about DOJ or Hunters attorney, it's about whether the judge finds it constitutional
