The day before the Judge was due to hear the Hunter case, an amicus brief with additional information was filed in court by the House Ways and Means Committee. One of Hunter's lawyers pretended to be from the House Ways and Means Committee and fraudulently had the Clerk of the Court remove it. (They have the phone records, so they know who did it) Luckily the House Ways and Means Committee found out and refiled another one. Between the additional information supplied by the Committee and the Judge finding out that they tried to give immunity for any future crimes in perpetuity to Hunter, the Judge nixed the plea deal. They tried to slip that "immunity in perpetuity" deal in by only giving her a copy of that deal on the day of the trial, hoping that she would not notice it. The prosecution and the defense were working together to grant Hunter a sweetheart deal. Is is any wonder that most Americans believe that the D.O.J. is corrupted by this administration?
