Hi guys now i want to show how to remove write protection from USB SD card. SD card are not format because of write protection.
this usb drive are write protected, when i want to format this drive it’s doesn’t work.
let’s see how fix write protection on usb drive
now type “diskpart” and press “Enter”
now type “list disk” and Press “Enter”
now select your usb drive, in my case i am select 2
but in your case it’s may be 1
now type “select disk 2”
now type “attributes disk” and Press “Enter”
now type “attributes disk clean readonly” and press “Enter”
now type “exit” and press “Enter”
Remove the usb drive and Reconnect USB Drive
Now you can Format Your Usb Drive,

Your read-only attribute was already off
And you missed type attributes (attribites) in the last part so it shows unrelated text at the end

If you are having a similar problem eject the sd card move the lock position to the other side.

Worked fine, first time didn't work then used upper case. Unfortunately he typed attributes as attribites.
my sd card is white protected too when i go to properties it's says this sd card is white protected and read only but when i go to cmd/bootdisk or whatever that is it's says read only (NO)

The point where you entered " attributes disk clean read-only" did not work on mine. But rather "attributes disk clear readonly" . If anyone has a problem when they entered the former command, they can try the latter. Thanks

*SOLVED* This may not apply to your specific situation. I was using a SD card adapter, connected to an SD port USB adapter, because the info was stored on a microSD. The culprit was the SD card adapter. I noticed that the SD port USB adapter also had a slot for microSD cards. So I took the microSD card out of the SD card adapter and just slid it directly into the microSD slot of the USB adapter and it worked! The SD card adapter must have put up some sort of barrier or prevented efficient re-formatting. Note that the SD card adapter was NOT in the physical 'locked' mode AND that I had done what all these other websites and videos had told me to do (CMD prompt, regedit, etc).
Thanks Mate now I realize that the sd card has no issue actually. The cause why my sd card is write protected because the small selector set to write protected. After I adjust, the write protected info has gone. Thanks mate.
I think I'm in the exact same issue. I've tried everything to remove write protection but it's not working. Could you elaborate more on your experience?

thank for information its worked , but one correction is there command you mention is wrong (attributes disk clear readonly) clean replace with clear
If you're using a sd card with the adapter (which we use in camera) then see if you have switched to lock on the physical adapter. If yes then unlock it and you're good to go

Worked for me... only thing was the last command was "attribites" and not "attributes".😊
the command is "clear". not "clean".
It worked. Finally, I can put music into my SD card (It is a buletooth player which supprt SD key as well).

Didn't work, even when I DIDN'T mis-spell "attributes".
Also, it's suspicious that the disk you "fixed" displayed as not write-protected to begin with.
Additional note: I DID manage to unlock the Micro SD card I had, by simply putting it in an adapter that had a switch on it (like a full-sized SD card does). With that, the micro card promptly started to behave and accept formatting.

Clear not clean...
Those adapters with the switch don’t really help all the switch does is engage the switch either on the computer or disable writing. There is a switch inside the pc that the switch hits disabling write protection if you open the sub with a write lock witch you will see it actually doesn’t have anything to do with the inside of the chip itself. It’s basically a bypass switch

doesn't work for me. After typing "attributes disk CLEAR readonly" ... It's says "sd card successfully formatted" but the sd card is still full of data lol

On the sd card there is a switch if it’s flipped down it’s write protected if it’s flipped up then it’s not
Flip it up and It shouldn’t be right protected anymore

I know alot of frustration out there due but it works. Dude on video spelt attributes wrong. Type command in uppercase instead and will work 100%. Yiu can now delete or add files as you please. This was for my micro sdcard 64Gb

The SD in the first place was in the read only No. It was not protected at all. Therefore, by showing the steps you have gone through definitely it can be formated. The video is useless.
