Our first Christmas in our self converted VW T4 and we went off-grid in Austria. We carry on our full time Europe winter Vanlife series and leave Belgium and head to a freezing Austria. We learn from off grid vanlife experts Tania & Adam from Jits in to the sunset. This video we visit Salzburg and then head to Almsee, a frozen winter wonderland. We set up camp for a few days ready for xmas where Emma attempts to cook a Christmas dinner in the camper van which turns out to be a typical vanlife experience.

I’m grateful to be alive. I’ve been very poorly (not covid) and spent 4 months in hospital. I’ve been home for 3 months and am only just well enough to have my young daughter back as she had to be placed in foster care during this time. Stay safe both of you x

That shower comment. “You have access to 10 minutes of hot water and…. some skid marks” I literally spat my tea out and belly laughed for about 5 minutes. Brilliant
I am thankful that I almost completed a van build and went camping twice. I am also thankful that my son is moving in with us in February and will be caretaker, repairman and rehabber of our sticks and bricks. In exchange, he will be recieving a swank, well-appointed basement bachelor pad. And homecooked meals.
The thing I am most thankful about is that in 2022 I will be debt free for the first time in my life. I have been working hard for the last few years at paying off debts and will realize that dream in January.
I am grateful for adopting my doggie's from Puerto Rico which helped me lose 100 pounds. My two doggies are grateful to go for hikes 4 miles a day. I am grateful to follow channels like yours to motivate me to start traveling! Nice that you hooked up with Jits!!!!!

We are a 60+ couple you bought a campervan in 2021. We did a 7,700 mile trip around the US. We plan to do more van trips in the US in 2022. Thanks to the pandemic and youtube we discovered van life in 2021
I’ve just bought a T4 high top camper but it has got an engine problem! I intend to travel around my beloved Cornwall - just waiting for my wonderful mechanic to fix the van and then me and Jack my lovely cat are off - I’m grateful for my health I’m 64 years young - love your videos xxx ❤️😻

We went into hibernation during 2021, but that has to change. This year we have aquired a kitten and puppy, Charlie is now a fully grown cat and the "dog named Boo" form the song, is a 3 month old little villan At just turned 70 and a younger wifey we are planning on hitting Europe again in our self build Vivaro.
That's the resolution, so inviting people to kick me up the arse to do it.

My best experience last year was when a beautiful coworker jumped onto my lap, told me I did not look a day past 35, and asked if she should visit when finishing police academy and no longer worked in nursing. Maybe bringing handcuffs. She obviously had very bad sight poor girl, way too much to drink, and probably daddy issues, but she made this year a lot more fun just by doing this that evening. I had just spent the last 14 years taking care of my mother. Not having had too many chances to be social at work or other places.
After moving to Moscow in October 2020, I actually had an incredible year working and living in this vibrant city, and I’m so grateful to be able to do what I do, and travel slowly and really explore this fascinating place! I also flew home to England to see my family for the first time since moving abroad which of course has been great! And finally, I’m grateful to have (almost!) reached my next UA-cam milestone by the end of the year!
What I got out of 2021. Patience, acceptance , missing my son who left for college. Family drama and best of the year was traveling to Scotland.

Merry Christmas! It's been a rough few months in my house - all of us came down with COVID (me quite badly), my grandmother died, and it's all been a bit crap. So I am grateful for making it to the end of the year and am looking forward to 2022 which will hopefully be a bit more fun. Have a lovely New Year!

hi you Campers, i'am grateful for that my girlfriend survived (on here stil young age) a very large brain haemorrhage, and ok see is part blind and not so fast anymore with here movement .
after months of rehabilitation we are stil going strong and this sumer with out T5 camper going to Sweden.

Our Van broke down this year, but we managed to do some trips the old school way - with our car and a tent (and some lovely airbnb's in between). The best trip was for three weeks in the south of France in late summer. What a joy. 😊

We have been full time for over 7 years and always made Christmas dinner.this year in Hungary Budapest was the first time we didn't get our dinner,went shopping on Christmas Eve to find they close everything till from 24th to 27th December so had our Christmas dinner on the 28th still lovely . happy new year to all of you H & G

What I have appreciated in 2021 is all these wonderful travel and van life travel videos while being hold up at home. I take care of mom who is 90 and my dog who is 17 so even if there wasn't COVID, I can't go anywhere. So, watching you all, has kept me from missing my travel adventures by letting me see what's out there. And, I have been so inspired by "van life" that I have ordered a van. Here in the US you just can't hardly find them any more, so what you have to do is order one so as to get a head start on those waiting for them to show up on the car lots. I'm hoping to get mine at the earliest window which is in 6 mo.(fingers crossed). I loved your video today with Tania and Adam, so glad you have been able to share time with them and share it with us. Happy travel adventures to all of you and will see you in the New Year. I take care of my 91 year old father right now . My plans are to buy me a van and turn it into a home when my father passes away . Hopefully that won’t be for a few more years . I don’t have much money and my profession doesn’t pay a lot , I clean hotel rooms and where I live at in USA they don’t pay very well .

I’m thankful for my gratitude journal I’ve kept for a few years. When something makes me grateful I write it down. Almost at #3,500 entries and starting my 4th book. I want to continue being mindful of moments when my heart/mind recognizes real joy. Some are as simple as seeing 5 birds lined up on my porch or a grandchild saying “I love being with u Grammie” or a moment with friends as u just have. Loved your Christmas vlog.
