SPAM HI CLEMENTINE IN THE COMMENTS!! Haha #hiclementine gosh we missed our tractor… Did you all know you can burn up to 600 calories an hour shovelling? 👀 *** We are doing and Q&A style video soon please leave all your questions in the comments! I want all the good ones, what’s got you curious? and ask as many as you like- anything at all. Thanks Pack 💛
I shoveled 6 times during that storm to keep ahead of it. I must have burned nearly 3600 calories over those three days then? I guess that's a good price to pay for not being able to move my arms much in the following days! 🤣
🌻sure give us some potty talk😊 you really enjoy the winter cabin vibe but will this be your last winter? Will you be Baja bound every winter☀️? 3 properties, can you spend enough time at each and not lose the sense of being “home”? 🌻 look forward to your Q&A💛💛🐾🐾 Be Well🕊️
Thank you for making content that shows girls and women they can do major renovations and builds and construction work it’s really cool and the world really needs this. You girls are superhero’s and we love you! ❤️
Oh wow that was such a different climate to what you've been in for last two months and what great neighbours you have keeping an eye on the place whilst your gone ❤
What a happy homecoming! That you found the homestead in such great shape is a true testament to the both of you. You planned well and executed that plan. Also, I look forward to watching you two build Queen Clementine her well deserved Castle! On the opening sequence, it was lovely to see Crystal’s tanned face in the wild winter landscape!
Thank you so much!! Thanks for watching. Yes it finally feels like it’s really coming together to be able to leave and come back to everything still doing well- well worth the work. Can’t wait to build Clem a home! 💛
Paradise is what the cabin is. Absolutely gorgeous with all the snow. You both worked so hard. What happened to the toilet? That's horrible you can't find a quality toilet that works. I'm happy all our girls are home, safe & warm. Sending love to you all & tons of belly rubs for Bella & Izzy ❤
You are so right! The cabin is our paradise for sure! There is really no place like home. Bella and izzy truly love the snow. Happy to have you in our pack. 💛🐶 Thank you for watching we will share about the toilet soon!
WELCOME HOME GIRLS. That got your heart pumping shifting all that snow, that was one of the best things (among others) having solar-panels, and enough batteries. Your dogs are very obedient waiting to be fed. It will not be long before you will be planting seeds in your greenhouse. Home safe and sound, love from Mike. ❤❤
Lovely Ladies and lovely girls, welcome home! Great to see you back at the cabin and enjoying it! Thanks for sharing! Much ❤ Not forgetting Clementine, a few tips if leaving her in the cold for extended periods of time without use - 1. Poor love definitely needs a shelter. 2. Invest in an intelligent trickle charger for her battery, they're not expensive, don't consume much power and will keep her battery a much happier bunny for much longer. Even better remove her battery and place in in the semi warm main battery garage with the same intelligent trickle charger or incorporate her battery into your solar charging system. She and her battery will ❤ you even more. 3. When the battery finally waves the white flag, invest in an artic grade one, they're not massively more expensive, but are designed to cope much better with sub zero temperatures. 4. Warm her and her shelter up with a mobile heater, before starting, as freezing cold engine oil can become the consistency of thick treacle, which won't do her internals any favours. 5. Make sure you use engine oil rated to the sub zero temperatures she lives in. 6. When she starts let her tick over for as long as it takes for her to come up to temperature, before using, thus avoiding the 👿 cold oil doing any damage. 7. Give her some ❤ from me!
Lovely to see you all happy to be back home. Bless wee Bella and Izzy walking through the deep snow. I’m glad Clementine was able to get back into action clearing all those pathways!
JAZ AND CRYSTAL - Thank You for sharing your homecoming with us. THE EXCITEMENT you have both demonstrated is fantastic. Totally understand why you love your home - all your designs, incredibly long days and hard work and amazing passion for the ADVENTURE has been great to watch. 👏🏻👍🏻❤️🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
Snow shoveling is one of the activities that releases happy endorphins in our brains! It’s so good for us just like wood chopping and stacking! I bet yall felt great when you were done. I’m always Tired but so so happy when I’m done!
Welcome home. Nothing like a cracking from the fireplace. Snuggle up with a blanket with a cup of coffee or tea. Bella and Izzy were so cute in the snow.
From Baja to this. Wow! You've come a long way in just the last year. Remember last winter? This looked like a breeze, and it was tons more snow. Proud of all you've done. Can't wait to see what you end up with in Baja. Love you both (all 4, I mean). 🌈💜💙💚💛🧡💖💋
Hi Girls I have watched you for years in the van and now the last couple of years in the cabin, you girls have worked so hard and deserve to be nice and comfortable in your home, it’s just an amazing place to live all of my family have skied all across Canada an love the snow it’s just an idilic picturesque part of the world where you live, Good luck enjoy every minute of the snow it will soon be gone again!!! But it will soon be back again, you are so lucky, and we the followers just love to experience this beautiful place with you girls and your every day life amazing. 💕💕👍👍👍
GREAT to see you back. You two are definitely blessed!!! You are fortunate to have great neighbours who will look after the cabin while you are away, plus now having all the conveniences for living off grid. You should invest in a snowblower and a better way of storing your diesel fuel, if you get condensation in the tank of Clementine you will be in for an expensive repair, so before you get too much lower put some proper antifreeze in any gas or diesel powered equipment you have. Building Clementine a shelter would be an excellent idea protecting Clem from the environments is just an investment in keeping her in tip top shape. Posting an update on the incinerator toilet might help another homesteader as to purchasing one. Stay Well Stay Safe and Enjoy Each Day!!!
Morning folks, What a great welcome home, 3ft of Snow, Mind you, you made a quick start to moving it around your cabin, Nice to see Izzy and Bella loving playing in the Snow, I'm totally lost this weekend, I lost my friend ,my Hillwalking buddy, Sadly took his own life, 😢, Take care all of you, and see you next weekend,💛💛🐕🐕
I know you probably wont read this but one thing you might not know is that pushing the bucket into the ground while the edge is tilted way down can bend the hydraulic cylinders if you hit the edge into something too solid with too much of a force so safest to keep the bucket horizontal when pushing snow. Looking a lot like the winter we have here in finland...snowbanks were at about belly height untill last week when they all melted and turned into ice. Also Hi 5 Clementine !
I have three sons. I always wanted a daughter. I am so proud of you two and what you have accomplished. I would adopt you two in a heart beat! Love your channel! Bless you!
Clementine rocks!!! so welcome home from your journeys. It’s great to travel, but it’s always good to be home. And after all the work that you’ve done these past years on your place, it’s got to feel even better. ❤️🏡🐾🐾
Hi Clementine; welcome back to the working world. I love, love seeing Jazmyn talking to Clem, so cute. I was getting worn out just watching you two doing all that shoveling; I hope Crystal didn't end up with any back problems. And those babies Bella & Izzy enjoying the life frolicking in the snow. And Crystal had the cutest look of happiness enjoying the crackle from the fire. I'm looking forward to Clems cabin build and I REALLY want to know what the heck happed to your toilet. I'm guessing since you didn't say anything, that the shower is still working. So, for now, welcome back. I'm looking forward to all the ....ummm, fun, that's coming. Love all of you..... Bernie ❤
Hey Bernie, Crystal talks to plants i talk to Clementine.lol There is no place like home. Bella and izzy sure do live the snow. We are so happy to have you in our pack. 💛🐶
Wow that's a lot of snow. Glad you safe. Your next thing you must build is a double glazed roof to go over your front porch or veranda. Not sure what they call it there. Then you can sit under it in summer when it rains and won't get wet. And the snow won't block up you sliding door by bedroom and being double glazzed glass you not blocking out light. Your outer frame work is steal with gutters to let water run down. You can do A frame. Or square flat glass and metal going across for support. Nice to be back home.
It's a pleasure. All the homes in United kingdom have double glazed windows. I personally prefer summer as I'm originally from South Africa been in UK 2 years. Yes snow is beautiful to look at. But not my favourite.
In Antigonish, we had 100cm. Took me 7.5 hours to shovel a path from the house to the road. Eventually the tractor with blower came and cleaned the rest. Was a fun few days. Welcome back to Canada.
We are on Boularderie, had to be close to 6-ft in those 4 days. Road was not plowed for 6 days. Our version of Clementine got a work-out. Yes, even on the grid you need multiple sources of energy - solar + propane + firewood + generator + grid + diesel + gasoline. Did I leave any out😜
A tip for lighting especially in ovens or fires 🔥🔥🔥 in general! Always fire from top to bottom, so let the fire in the oven burn from top to bottom! Your stove and ultimately the chimney and pipes will thank you in the long run! Greetings from 🇨🇭 Switzerland 🙃
I WAITED SO LONG FOR YOUR RETURN TO THE CABIN.. IN LAST 2 MONTHS WE HAD HURRICANE FORCE WINDS AND OVER 6 '' OF RAIN. THERE STILL REMOVING FALLEN TREES ALONG THE ROAD HERE IN MAINE.. SO GLAD YOU GUYS ARE BACK AND ALL DID WELL THERE DURING THE HURRICANE.. STAY WELL..GLAD ALL IS WELL.
Back to the winter wonderland. Beautiful! 2 sun-kissed girls still showing the glow. Tan, that is. I know I may have mentioned this before Clementine should have an electric heater cor. Just plug her in with any extension cord to any powered 110v outlet. A few hours before trying to start, especially under -15° C This will warm her heart and allow her oil to flow freely. Even if you use one of your rechargeable battery packs. Clementine doesn't need a lot of power, just enough to warm her heart.. I'm pretty sure we've all missed our sunday's cabin time with the girls. Good to see you and the pups back home forolicking in the snow. Love the pack❤ Love the pup's ❤ Love Clementine❤ Love the cabin ❤ ✌️Peace 🤟 I love you 🖖 Live long and prosper.
Wowee Tom, thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us. We are so happy to be home. Bella and Izzy love the snow. We are sending love back from the pack. 💛🐶
So good to see you back! As someone who watched your van life travels I saw two sun kissed, blond beauties who loved adventure, water, different cultures, the ocean (water), their dogs, water, new things, and water. It was more of a suprize to me when you went for the isolated, cold, snowy country. But there are different sudes to all of us. I now love your cabin and all the work you've done on the property. However I didn't feel your journey ended with your Canadian property. I think having two homes you will so love, will answer your needs. Also, traveling by van from NE Canada to The Baja will fill the need for travel and exploration again. You will forever be evolving. Go for it! It is so you! I wiil be along to enjoy your journey!
It's a good thing you are young! That is such a labor intensive area of the World to live in. (Anywhere there is Snow). Plus it is quite hazardous for anyone over 60, especially when Osteoporosis, Knee Arthritis, hip issues, etc. kick in. Keep living it up girls. Enjoy life up there as much as possible, that way by the time you are in your 60's you can say: "Ok, been there, done that" You are living your best lives while bringing smiles to the rest of us. Thank You for that.
Welcome back from your escapades. One helpful thing to mention is to add fuel treatment to your diesel and gas cans as soon as you buy the fuel. Helps keeps your fuel fresh and helps your engines. Fill your fuel tanks full on the tractor, generators, van and truck to eliminate air from the tanks which attracts condensation and moisture if they are not going to be used for an extended period. Add fuel treatments to these also.
What a winter wonderland welcome. I enjoyed how the four of you dug in and prepared your cozy space. Good idea to stock up on groceries on the way in. Dogs frolicking in the snow was so sweet❤
Have to say this video is my favorite of all the ones you made since the end of last year. Was cool seeing you guys all happy and comfy in your own home.
Welcome Home, arranging the Snow Plough to clear your road to cabin, was a great idea. There sure was a lot of snow but Clementine did you proud. Amazing neighbours keeping an eye on your property, we have CCTV cameras round our property and helps checking in when away. Love to you both and the girls ❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾xxxx
The dog rescue Eamon and Bec started is called Cerritos beach dogs. Baja California Sur. I’m sure you’ve heard of it because they are good friend with max of max and occy. It’s so strange, I know I don’t know any of y’all, yet all of you make your followers feel like family. So happy of your new journey. Love y’all, Heather, your crazy flight attendant from Texas
So happy you four are home safe and everything was good at the cabin. Lol got to love east coast snow. Beautiful site with snow on trees as Jaz said. Love you both ❤
Hello, Cristal Jasmine, from warm weather to a severe cold weather, snowing, very hard, anyway you guys are back off grid Home, glad to know your abouts, thanks for sharing to all of us your new adventures back home, sending greetings from Puerto Rico, Love ❣️ You pack 🐕🦺🐕🦺❣️
Welcome home everything looks so beautiful with all the snow and the girls look so happy❤ there's no place like home❤😊❤ y'all stay warm see y'all next Sunday❤😊❤
Your cabin looks so cozy again with everything put away and a fire going and the girls hanging out on the couch. Welcome home ‼️❣️🐾🐾🐾🐾 And, yes, definitely want to hear about your indoor toilet!!🚽🚽🧻🧻
Welcome Home! Thank you for sharing your adventures. We live off-grid in Texas - since 2005 and absolutely adore it. Definitely some challenges yet the rewards more than make it worth it. Enjoy Each & Every Day!
Got so happyyyy seeing this......thank you🙏🙏😃 even if you only put out a video once a month or whatever from this beautiful place I just love seeing it, it lifts my soul seeing your love for the place and seeing Izzy and Bella so happyyyy 😊😊❤❤
So good to see you ladies back at the cabin. Cannot wait to see what is next jazz and Crystal, all the best to you and yours. Have a wonderful week 🐶🐾💛
Hello. A suggestion for clementine. As a truck driver and dealing with diesel all the time you need to put some diesel anti gel for your fuel cans and clementines tank in the winter. It keeps diesel from gelling up which starts below 30 degrees. Also keep her tank full so water doesn’t build up. She will start and run much happier.
For Q&A, beside the need to be able to store/park the tractor out of the elements, what things would you do differently before going on an extended absence that you feel would save you time and effort on the return? Would you do a written checklist to follow in preparation for such a leave as you just did going south? A review of the incinerator toilet also (I would hope that you could plum some heat into the outhouse?)
Beautiful seeing the snow, never got much of that in my state at all, kind of depressing, glad you girls are home and enjoying yourself! Be safe and have a great week!!👍❤️❤️
So glad that you are home and everyone is so happy. Thank you for another wonderful video. Wish I could have been there to help you. Love to you all! ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing your amazing off grid life! You guys are going to be in such great shape because of the hard work you put in maintaining your cabin!
Highly recommend a fill-rite pump and 55 gallon drum once you build Clem a shelter. I do the 5 gallon can shuffle and transfer the fuel into it, but fill my skid steer from it. Also, I recommend you consider an auto start generator. I have a Kohler 12Res that will auto start when it hits my chosen set point. It runs off propane. I went away for a few days and I came back to the generator running (yay, it worked!). You have way more solar and battery storage than I have (I only have 6.390 kw), but I did recently switch to EG4 LiPO4 batteries (6 48V EG4-LL batteries).
Happy to give input@@Vanwives . We are having a very strange winter here in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Warmer temps and very little snow. One other thought I wanted to share was the sizing of your propane tanks. I have 1000 gallons (sorry, using Imperial as I'm American) and I go through 1200-1500 gallon/year. My primary source of heat is wood and radiant floor heat. I didn't catch how you have the tanks set up, but I think setting up a larger tank in each of your locations would be a good idea. All my best!
Great update. Glad to see all is well with the cabin. You have made a lot of great choices with this cabin build and i would say Clementine is definitely one of them. Looking forward to the next update. 👍
I’m still watching your episode when you coming home and now I’m convinced your summer should be involving building a shed for your tractor or at least a cover and then a cover for your deck and a cover for all your propane tanks.
I was just watching the new Max and Occy video and it got me thinking about Lee. To this day I've never been able to watch anyone else's but your video about what happened. With my own mental illness history it's just feels risky and I'm crying a bit just now thinking about it. I'm so glad that you are such good people and provide such a safe space on the internet. I'm sure I speak for others who stay silent and are just grateful for you. There's love in this space. Bark bark bark bark:)
Perfect timing, this was sort of the question I asked for your upcoming Q&A. I'm so curious about how you go about leaving your off-grid cabin and making sure everything is ok. Definitely, an aspect that I've been worried about as I want the off-grid thing and don't think I could give up travel either. Thank you so much, as always for sharing such a rad video!! Sae travel all and hope you're doing great ladies : )
Welcome back ladies! I'm not a fan of your adventures in Mexico but I love the cabin and everything you've done in it and around it. I really look forward to Sunday afternoons and your podcast. Keep up the good work!!
Great to see you home. As well as a shelter for clem I would also build a small vented shed / cupboard for your fuel cans seperated from any other buildings for safety.
Two years ago I installed an incinerating toilet at my cottage in Port Bickerton and it has been great. I was concerned about the septic finding its way into the harbor which is only 50' away from the so-called leach field. It makes so much sense when you consider how much water is wasted with each flush.
I randomly came across one of those wood carrying bags last year and I thought 'how well is this going to work?' OH MY GOSH IT'S AMAZING. So much easier than carrying our giant wood bin. (I only live in Texas though so just use it for the ambiance when it's cold....er 😁)
Some strategically place snow fences place around the deck and the shed among other places may eliminate the snow drifts and make for an easier clean, available online or at your local Partsco or farm store, probably should build a separate, stand-alone WELL VENTALATED POL (petrolium-oil-lubrication) shed to store all your flammable fuel containers and materials.
I am so happy your back home. Bella and Izzy have never looked happier. Sleeping in the snow, now thats happiness. The grin on both your faces said it all. Welcome home
Yes, I would definitely like to hear the incinerator toilet story, but in the meantime, I am glad you are safely back home and that everything at the cabin is okay.

Home sweet Cabin ... I could almost feel the feels when you were opening the door to your beautiful home! You certainly got a full workout with all the snow removal and getting settled back in! It was so sweet to see how happy the girls were too ... they both look so healthy and excited to be playing in the snow! I am very curious ... what happened to your incinerator toilet? Sounds like a good story is coming!

We were lucky! 😊🐶
Love the pack❤
Love the pup's ❤
Love Clementine❤
Love the cabin ❤
✌️Peace 🤟 I love you 🖖 Live long and prosper.
Enjoy life up there as much as possible, that way by the time you are in your 60's you can say: "Ok, been there, done that"
You are living your best lives while bringing smiles to the rest of us.
🙏 🙏 🙏 To the person reading this, even though I don't know you. I wish you the best of what life has to offer 🙏 😊❤
And the same to you!❤
@@ErlaTheGreat ❤️😊
Wishing you the best always.
May Peace be upon us all 🙏🌞🇺🇸🌞🙏
Thank you.🙏. Same wishes back to you. 💐
Much love 💓

Thank you for sharing all your great tips with us. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us- I’ll tell jazzy 😊
Looks like your loving being back home. Even the dogs were loving it. It looks so peaceful and so quiet. Gotta love winter!!
There is really no place like home. Bella and izzy love the snow. Winter is beautiful! 💛🐶
Great to see you back home. Your property looks beautiful in the snow❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
Snow is so beautiful, it makes everything g look magical. We are all happy to be home. Enjoy your week too. 💛🐶
Welcome ladies, I like when you’re home we’re looking forward to a wonderful spring summer and fall and probably early winter with you. I missed you.
Glad you’re home safely!!!
Plows, a necessity of life in snow worlds!
Dogs love, love snow!!
There is no place like home! Plows are important here in NS. Bella and izzy love the snow the most. 💛🐶
So glad that you are home and everyone is so happy. Thank you for another wonderful video. Wish I could have been there to help you. Love to you all!
❤❤❤❤
Glad you are back HOME 🏡 This was a nice way to enjoy a Sunday morning with your video! Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks for sharing your amazing off grid life! You guys are going to be in such great shape because of the hard work you put in maintaining your cabin!
Hahaha it sure does keep us busy busy! Thank you for watching 💛
Glad you’re back safe and sound. Welcome home girls! 😊
Thank you for sharing all your ideas with us. 😊🐶
Glad to see your back Home. TAKE CARE STAY WARM and STAY WELL
Thank you Neil, there is no place like home. 😊🐶
Welcome home, Girls. You both look beautifully refreshed.
I'm curious about your jackets, and Crystal's sweater in the first day of the video.
Definitely, an aspect that I've been worried about as I want the off-grid
thing and don't think I could give up travel either. Thank you so much, as always for sharing such a rad video!! Sae travel all and hope you're doing great ladies : )
Great to see home safe & sound, the cabin looks like a winter wonderland beautiful. The girls certainly enjoy the snow. Have a great week. ❤
You are so right Mark. There is no place like home. Bella and Izzy love the snow. 🐶😊
Welcome back ladies! I'm not a fan of your adventures in Mexico but I love the cabin and everything you've done in it and around it. I really look forward to Sunday afternoons and your podcast. Keep up the good work!!
We are so happy to be home. There is no place like home.Happy to have you as part of our pack. 😊🐶
So happy you made it home safe and the cabin was good! You did a great job cleaning the snow, looking forward to seeing you next week 💛
There is no place like home for sure. See you next Sunday our friend. 💛🐶
Hi Clementine. 👋 The Tractor music sequence = 🔥 Hope you all have fun in the snow, Spring is right around the corner. ☀️
Yay here comes spring 💛 thank you for watching
You are both looking so well .
That break did you both the world of good 😊
Luv n Hugs to both of you ❤
Thank you Cliff. Time off is good for the soul. Sending love and hugs back to you. 💛🐶
Absolutely loved this video, the editing, vibes, everything!!! ❤🎉 love from father daughter pack members here in the UK
Aww thank you for all your kind words. Love that- the father daughter pack! We are sending love back from our pack. 💛🐶
Hello Clementine!! I am happy you are home like when the pups saw the couch happy! You are great dog moms they waited so well.
Ha ha, you are so right. Bella and izzy just love their big comfy couch. 💛🐶
❤❤❤ omg that’s a lot of snow. You can feel the house hugging you back.
So much snow! lol In a short amount of time. There is no place like home. 💛🐶
I am so happy that you are all home safe and sound. It feels like I got home to. Love from Salem Or. PAWS UP FOREVER!!!
We agree there really is no place like home. Sending love back to Salem. We love that, “PAWS UP FOREVER”!😊🐶
I am so happy your back home. Bella and Izzy have never looked happier. Sleeping in the snow, now thats happiness. The grin on both your faces said it all. Welcome home
Awe thanks for all your kind words.. Bella and Izzy truly love the snow, it really makes them happy!😃 🐶
My condolences to you and your families…..beautiful story🙏💕
Yes, I would definitely like to hear the incinerator toilet story, but in the meantime, I am glad you are safely back home and that everything at the cabin is okay.

Home sweet Cabin ... I could almost feel the feels when you were opening the door to your beautiful home! You certainly got a full workout with all the snow removal and getting settled back in! It was so sweet to see how happy the girls were too ... they both look so healthy and excited to be playing in the snow! I am very curious ... what happened to your incinerator toilet? Sounds like a good story is coming!
