- Hi Guys! Today we with my mother and sister cooking banana turon in Russia! We also cooked lumpia wrapping because we couldn’t find it here in shops!

lumpia wrapper is actually paper thin but your mom did a good job for a first timer.
some make. the mixture liquidy and they just pour it on the pan and spread it out. that's the method i see when someone tries ti make. lumpia wrapper at home.

If sabá is unavailable, "plantain" (in English) a.k.a. "plátano mácho" (in Spanish) is an excellent substitute for sabá.
If lumpia wrapper is unavailable, a few individuals use "filo pastry dough" or "crepe wrapper".
The cardava banana will work too 😊

Though the mainstream media dehumanise the people of Russia, with you especially your cool, loving doting mother, gives sneak peeks of the real Russian peoples. Ingredients is
1 cup Water
1 cup floor
Like doing a crepe, very thin so it would be Crispy ..
Roll The banana in sugar before wrapping it so as not to burn The sugar . Wow !! Looks good mama & Ate ... good job!!
Your Mom Andrei made all Turon possible and she has good skills in making dough wrapper of your Turon I saw her hands she is loving mother who help you as well as your Sister. It's ok if Saba type of banana is not available you can use another type of banana and you make it well your Turon. Actually I recently eat Turon just this afternoon snack. It can pair with kalamansi juice, ice tea, and buko juice with milk if you can recall our foods in tiange market here in the Philippines. Thanks for introducing our food to your Mom and sister as well as your cute nephew who keeps talking and playing 😊

Hello @filipinez..if you want have a perfect Turon.. You watch the Filipino style lumpia wrapper so it will be easy to you.. And if you don't have saba, just buy plantain not ripe but a little bit green so that it will not be mooshy.. That way you will have a yummylicious turon. Thnks for sharing our food to the world esp. The 3rd attempt to make lumpia wrapper was almost similar on how we do that here in the Philippines. Once you are used to it, you can make it thinner.

Very good try! It’s almost perfect turon👍🏼 Next time you make a turon tell your mom to make the wrapper more thinner,use brush and do like painting the dough on the frying pan. Its like doing a crepes wrapper but make it more thinner. I like your mom, she’s cool🥰
