I love this version of the H08. Hermes absolutely nailed it.
Hi Tim - thanks for the review. I have a question for you. I noticed you measure the lug-to-lug as 46 mm, but Hermes has 42 mm on their website. Any idea why there might be a 4 mm difference? (for me, it's a buy/no-buy difference). Thanks in advance!
This maybe a good designer watch but looks like a high end special edition swatch… would never pay more than USD 1000 for this☝️
😂 it’s using the same movement as some parmigiani fleurier. this is a very very highly spec watch and sits a great price point on the secondary market.
The micro adjustment should be a specification of COSC!
Why is it hermes and not hismes
theirmès?
Is the graphene surface scratch proof?
Would you call this case shape a cushion or a tonneau?
Cushion for sure.
Corinthian Aes (black gold)
Lacking some pizzazz for me.
yeah it looks like a bell and ross
@@cyan0xide Very true!
Agreed. It’s impressive spec… but just blah design.
@@cyan0xide Or a Seven-Friday... but I still like it...
@@cyan0xide a superficial view.. why because it is square....the unique design of the clasp, the strap fitted into the case, the materials...the dial has gradations.... finished movement....Bell and Ross wished they had this design.
Why does this remind me of Swatch?
Tim pronounces 'graphite' in a weird way.
It's not graphite, its graphene a totally different thing.
@@garyboyle695 Yep, the thing that's in the vaccines 😁
@@garyboyle695 Although, I will say, Tim's pronouncing graphene weird too. I work at the NYS College of Ceramics, and we do a lot of work in materials including graphene, and I've never heard any of the faculty pronounce it that way.
I really like this watch. But being honest, I would be really hard pressed to purchase a watch from Hermes. If it were, say, Omega or Rolex I’d buy it in a second.
