Thanks so much! I actually took an old drum rack and had the poles cut to make 2 separate smaller poles to mount both of them on the module stand with Gibraltar clamps. Works great!
hey there to anyone reading - i am a novice drummer looking for a decent sample pad that has at least 1 pad or a couple more that I can program custom samples to play before starting songs or in the middle of songs (like one shot samples of snippets of audio or movie clips etc) but dunno what to look for. dont want to break the bank on a SPD SX or Alesis pad. any recommendations? don't need or care about any of the built in stuff, i only need to be able to play samples to front of house, and maybe if i wanted to use in tandem with a click track in the future - thanks!
Thanks for your video. I have a question. On an acoustic drum set when you bang a snare with two sticks you get the obvious sound. Is that sound achievable on the Samplepad Pro? For example, can you program two pads to act as snares? Or is the pad sensitive enough to do it with one pad? Thanks.
@@grantrushtonmusic when you bring in your own samples, the pads (external and on the pad itself) can be velocity sensitive, so you can have 2 sounds per pad and the sound changes once you hit a set velocity. But again, this is only a feature that is available with uploaded samples
I've got a Roland TD1 V with mesh snare and rubber pads . I want to salvage as much of this to use with an Alesis Samplepad Pro but understand I might need Kit hi-hat plus Alesis kick trigger
The Aleisis pads are garbage, the Strike is buggy and both are unsupported by Inmusic. The pads on the Roland SPD20 PRO are great! Buzz rolls, no problem. Ebay price is under $550.00 usd shipped. Lots of features and sounds. I favor the 4x4 octapad style layout. There is a reason it is so popular in India, land of the "pad pro players". I also love my Kat DITI Hybrikit, if you can afford it, its the OG. The gs extended module built into the DITI is the best.
@@ElectroPercs the upper 3 rim pads on the SPD SX are AWFUL too. They made improvements with the PRO but out of many people’s price range and some people don’t need all of the stuff it does.
Thank y’all for the assistance Amigo! Found one it’s a demo store model ⚡️299 Canadian my friend! Rock on!
Bought a strike multipad, arriving really soon! Cannot wait
Same here....and cant find a HI hat that works it's like they made it then a few updates and abandoned it.
@@JayTaylor3dollarfilms ahh man the sound completely isn’t working? Or is it open n closed
amazing. Where did you get the stand for the snare and hi hat?

@ So you can only get a double snare with samples, you’re saying?
@ velocity sensitive, so one sound below a certain threshold and one above. One of the inputs is dual zone too, so you have that in addition
@ thank you!
@ you can really thank me with a big fat subscribe if you haven’t already yet! lol
