I was a crew chief on B-52's for many years. It was a pain in the ass to load those drag chutes after recovery of the aircraft.
Great prowess!!!! & Stealth.
If by "genius" you mean using nearly centuries' old technology that's in place by every other country with an air force or naval aviation, then sure. You might want to take off both the "U.S." and "genius" labels there.
It's really good information about the aircraft
And some of it was even accurate
Very informative. Thank you! 😊😊❤❤
👍👍👍
So Bountiful ❤❤❤🎉🎉
✅️👍👏👏👏
Amazing very nice 🎉❤❤❤
Parachute = Genius?
Anything US = Genius for dummies 😂
😂😂It says 'US genius', so the genius bar is not set very high.
= British Martin Baker
Why can't they use drag chutes in an emergency for commercial liners?
That's nice; but what about the CRM 114 Discriminator?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Just curious, why would the B-52 need 7000 feet to stop does it not have reverse thrusters? The A380, which is a much much larger airplane does not need this much room.
Just a guess a fully loaded B-52 is probably much heavier than a loaded 380. Also the 380 is more modern and have better tech.
B-52 does not have thrust reversers at this time. Maybe a future engine upgrade will have them.
The variant of the TF33 engines on the only remaining B-52 model stlll flying (H model) was designed in the 1950s and, as was common on early jet engines, did not/do not have thrust reversers. Hence, B-52s have a drag chute for landing.
The modern wide bodies have more wheels on the ground than the b52 do there are more brakes plus anti skid system which yhe b52 probably doesn't have. thrust reverserers are not part of the braking system for certification purposes 747 flight test program
Commercial flights have to keep fares down. They don't run on Taxed slaves like the military, maybe that's a big reason.
Falling in Vietnames a lot
Learn English and how to spell it.
What is a jammer?
As explained in the video, it's a type of bomb loading equipment
A jammer is a machine for spreading jam on a bread slice 😂 😂 😂
@@SatpalSingh-sf6ou any particular kind or brand of jam? And all this time I was thinking that the term was a musical jam session. Or because no one can spell jambalaya. Maybe you got the term as a short way of spelling jambalaya or maybe it jambalia or jambolia? I’m confused, so I’ll just call it jam or jem or jamjam.
@@kqr573v2 thanks, I kinda thought it was
