Man I knew speedruns were gonna be fast for this game but not this fast. Btw @linkus7 when is the next randomizer coming? Been waiting for another random for a while.😎👌
10:51 "Once I have done that, I am now ready for the setup" he says, after over a minute of setting up for the setup. That's the most speedrunner thing I've ever heard in a speedrun.
As sweet as this whole run is, I'm really curious what the 100% run is gonna look like. What echoes are best to get early? which ones are best to use to get others? I feel like that pathing is gonna be cool as hell.
the tornado guy and the bed can get you almost anywhere. Add water to it and you can reach 95% of places. The mole is a must as well. Probably grab the flying bomber to spam at enemies and you've got a pretty good start of almost everything you need to get everything in the game
I watched this being recorded live, and that’s some amazing skill, more impressive than the speedrun itself. It’s crazy how little editing there was in the final product. Absolutely goated
The way you link (pun intended) your Twitch stream to the UA-cam segments (sponsors, endcard videos, CTA's) in this video are almost smoother than the speedrun itself! Well done man. Great video. Thanks for sharing!
*looks at the way Null is fought* Mother.... I didn't even consider that, I just spammed combat echoes for half an hour trying to find one that wouldn't be instakilled
@@JB30VRi was skeptical at first, but it has so much heart in it, and is genuinely interesting and fun. Completely turned me around, I gotta get it soon
So impressive do to the frame perfect skips and final boss whilst explaining! Also the current WR doesnt even use the spider echo - this run is getting even better!
this reminds me of a video about speedrunning Majora's Mask. one part involved a "wrong warp". part of the setup required NOT activating ANY of the Owl statues before learning the warp song. (i forget the name)
Been waiting for this one! Haven't been able to tune in live due to exams, and missing one stream for this game, you miss a heck ton. I remember when you ended stream before runs hit sub 40 saying you hopes there wasnt a new route to practice, and you woke up the next day running an all new route that was sub 40 lolol. Can't believe times have gotten this far already 😮
Very entertaining! Also, thanks for making people more aware of using bind in the final battle, I’ve seen way too many people think it’s just about echo spawning. Bind makes the battle quicker AND more dangerous because you have to stand still for a while.
The amount of things you can Bind in boss battles that aren't always immediately obvious can be kinda crazy. Dark Link's shield, Seismic Talus's core, Ganon's thrown trident, Volvagia's amulet...
Lol I actually beat the game casually last night and had no idea you're supposed to stretch the arm with the pull ability xD I just spawned enemies to attack it lol
No idea if this will help shorten the speedrun but in the water section of the final boss, when I first played it, I noticed that to the bottom right of where you start, there's an invisible thing you can grab on to and pull out. once you do that, it softlock's you and shows a black screen with the only thing there being the A button pop-up that you get when you pull the Tri force out. my guess is that the devs accidentally added another, invisible Tri force but if you try to pull it out, the game relizes you haven't fought the final faze.
Not a speedrun, but interested in also taking the topic of beating Echoes of Wisdom with only 2 echoes? It overlaps a lot of the strats with the 30-min speedrun, but I think the peculiarities of using only the table for beating the game until the first dungeon can be quite interesting.
With the Null skips, the thing I find cool isn't just the way it's done, but the fact that the doors on Link's side are actual teleports/doors and not just blank zones to load Link in/out of existence. They could have easily just left them blank and nonfunctional.

1st, hey linkus
Second to be here to watch my fav youtuber❤
I wish you made videos for the love of humanity like old youtubers did and not for a job.
That's the most speedrunner thing I've ever heard in a speedrun.
most baffling thing is probably that this exact setup was found this quickly
This run is absolutely busted, but it's very rewarding to learn and run. Highly recommend if you don't mind the long intro
I’m learning it right now! Just need to find time around school and sports 😂
As sweet as this whole run is, I'm really curious what the 100% run is gonna look like.

Also Lynel for combat.
11:57 dude casually nails a frame perfect trick to get a FIRST TRY wrong warp in a brand new zelda game not even a month old... actually INSANE
He's good at what he does 😂
it is what unbuffered manual super swim does to a man
i can’t think of many other speedrunners that are as good at explaining / making videos as they are at the game. bro is top shelf in both
I watched this being recorded live, and that’s some amazing skill, more impressive than the speedrun itself. It’s crazy how little editing there was in the final product.

I'm most interested in a 100% or even glitchless run.
I'm super curious the solutions people will come up with for a less broken category like that.
personally I think the run I'd like to see the most is the Any% No Wrong Warp. I typically prefer it in games that have wrong warps or credits warps.

I'm soooooo glad I wasn't the only one...I feel your pain XD
Been waiting for this one for weeks! Thank you!
Congrats !! That was crazy !!
Every video I watch pushes me closer to buying this game
Buy it. Just trust me it's great I poured 40 hours into within the first 2 weeks I had it
@@JB30VRi was skeptical at first, but it has so much heart in it, and is genuinely interesting and fun. Completely turned me around, I gotta get it soon
sure, after the whole story and all the stuff is shown to you lmfao
@@TimothyGod do it
@@drake_diangelo legitimately one of the greatest top down Zelda games ever made. BUY IT
So impressive do to the frame perfect skips and final boss whilst explaining!

30 minutes is crazy 💀
indeed
Also half of it is cutscenes
Very. Also nice pfp bro
You can beat echos in 30 minutes, but I watched this video in under 25 minutes
I watched it in like 11:xx thanks to 2x speed glitch and sponsorskip
Impressive how sub-hour speedruns have already surfaced :O
Any% is dead in less than a month that's crazy. All Dungeons will be incredible 👀
The speedrunning community..... they take a game that's already way too damn short and make it unbelievably shorter
this reminds me of a video about speedrunning Majora's Mask.
one part involved a "wrong warp".
part of the setup required NOT activating ANY of the Owl statues before learning the warp song. (i forget the name)
Awesome video Linkus! I have a feeling we will be seeing this in AGDQ 2025 which has me excited!
Couldn't wait to finish the game so that I could look up speed runs of it. Seemed like a great candidate
thanks for the explanations! time to practice speedrunning this
I love the mental image of Zelda parkouring her way out of the prison
I love twotch chat selling out that you died in the one null room fight 😂
I'd be super interested to see low% or min echoes speedruns!
I have missed wayyy to many streams this entire route is so new to me 😮

Omg you can pull Null's arms? Lol, I just had my darknuts attack them. I really did not use bind in my playthrough enough...
I also didn’t know I just used my lynel

@@ShycoWar I def did it to the first talus, but I tried to do it to the fire one and it would unbind immediately!
It’s super useful, but just something that you don’t often remember exists for some reason.
i didn't even realize you were supposed to pull teh hands lol. i'm bad at figuring out specifically teh gimmicks of final bosses
Man i've just complete the game right now didn't know there were trampoline omg
hey linkus! congrats on the marriage!
"without having to do any of the puzzles" figuring out these glitches is a more difficult puzzle
speedruns with explanatory commentary are my kryptonite
Lol I actually beat the game casually last night and had no idea you're supposed to stretch the arm with the pull ability xD I just spawned enemies to attack it lol
Linkus will you assist us in the #hoodlessZelda movement

hope they make a dlc where you can like purify null and he becomes a purple thing similar to how your partner works
With the power to create everything anywhere it was only a matter of time to break the game. And we did not have to wait long at all.
I won’t lie, things like this are really cool, but I always prefer glitchless speedruns
IT’S ONLY BEEN 23 DAYS
My favorite part of the video was when he said Cycle!
The moment I played it I knew people would obliterate this game with speedruns
Finally, they made a Zelda game where you play as Link.
How did people figure this out in a month!? This wrong warp tech is insane!
If you really want to know, LunaticJ made a video on the discovery progression
recreating the gameplay behind the pause menu was a nice touch
Funny how I played the game in hero mode for the first time so this boss was so hard that I already knew the underwater section was auto scroller
Not a speedrun, but interested in also taking the topic of beating Echoes of Wisdom with only 2 echoes?
It overlaps a lot of the strats with the 30-min speedrun, but I think the peculiarities of using only the table for beating the game until the first dungeon can be quite interesting.
You can beat the game with only Table echo.
This is insane 😮😮😮
People beat this game faster than I pick a vid from the hub
Please do table/low % next :) would love to see more people run it.
I like how over 1/6th of the run is the intro 💀
Awesome! But bro imagine if the game checked to see if you saved link in the last fight? Hardest speed run end boss fight ever or just impossible?
This is crazy
Amazing! 30 minutes!?
I had no idea you could grab and stretch the arms lmao
Twitch chat calling you out for dying to the fight at 16:25
Imagine a zelda echoes of wisdom lockout race
It wouldn't be a true Zelda game if speedrunners couldn't beat it within an hour
RIP Twilight Princess 😢
I feel like when people say frame perfectly, they're just hyping themselves up
That is insane…… do it again in Hero Mode? 💪🤣💪
LETS GOOOOOOOO!
Not me genuinely thinking he would do all 8 dungeons
Its funny I saw a guy at Meijer that looked exactly like you and it got me trippin for sec like linkus is in Sweden not America 😂
said the word casul
This kind of seems Golden Sun coded? If so I might be interested
More linkusssssssss
In typical Nintendo fashion, half of the speedrun is cutscenes
So, did you want to keep the game at version 1.0.0 or update it to the current update as of Oct 20.
With the Null skips, the thing I find cool isn't just the way it's done, but the fact that the doors on Link's side are actual teleports/doors and not just blank zones to load Link in/out of existence. They could have easily just left them blank and nonfunctional.
2:29 - hi awsmrs!
Linkus try not to upload a BANGER video challenge (impossible)
How to explain the speedrun of Echoes of Wisdom in 30 minutes
I just finished this game and this video gets released minutes later. Odd
Been waiting for this video!
i didn't know about the bind thing for my casual playthrough and the Null bossfight took me 20 minutes :(
u dont need the spider its just alot easier with it it slows down ur run
one thing for casual players or speedruners once you get cloud never use bed again its just a worse substitute for cloud (i will die on this hill)
When doing the sign trick, why do you need to open the pause menu then go to the map, instead of directly opening the map?
I figured this game would be broken by soeadrunners but damn not that broken
Such a fun speed run
this game is nuts
How do you get zelda randomizers? Could you show me?
You can GRAB THE ARMS? That would have may the null fight less painful.....
I'd love to see some Low% runs of this game. Hopefully without 17 hours of staring at a blue rupee. 😜
You can stretch out the arms?
dod they patch the warp glitch in v1.0.2?
2:32 hello awsmrs :)
It would be fun to see a speedrun that doesn't use wrong warp.
Ok am I the only person that did not know you can grab the hands with Tri in the null boss
When echoes of wisdom randomiser?
Like count was 666. Had to break it!
Record is 28:57, why not support the record?
Is 1.0.0 faster or should I use 1.0.1?
30 minutes?I took 30 hours
WTF last time I watched a speed run it was like 40 minutes😭
hiii lunkus
30 minutes!!! What the hell!
I wonder how likely Nintendo is to patch this game.
I beat the game in 41 hrs 😵
