Thank You! Really liked the video... A great tutorial for Shotcut... A short question of why you're using 7 frames and not 10 or 5? Is there any technical reasons for it?
Hi, my video mode is 25 frames per second, so a 7-frame transition gives about the right speed of the transition, in my opinion (about a third of a second). But you can make it longer if you like for a longer transition. Thanks for your comment!
thank you, really great video! I have one question: in the video at 06:21 , how do you manage to set the play head right begining of the transition... so what is the key combination? thanks in advance!
Hello, Jonray! My name is Edmundo, and I want to ask you about how can we make the motion blur in hyperlapse effect made with Shotcut, can we make hyperlapse in Shotcut? How? If it's possible can you show us how to do? Thanks
UPDATE: 5:58 When the Timeline *markers* were implemented the *Copy Timeline to Source* option was removed I am using version *22.06.23* which already has timeline *markers* (not sure which version had them first) Here is how I substituted the *Copy Timeline to Source* procedure: Step 1: Add *ONE* marker at the beginning of the transition which we then *EXPAND* to the end of the transition. (How? Place the play head at the begging of transition, then type M. Place play head at the end of transition, then press CTRL and drag the marker to the play head) Step 2: Go to the Export section and change the *From* field from "Timeline" (or whatever is currently selected) to "Marker x" (where x is the numeric ID of your marker) then click the "Export File" button. Step 3: continue video at 7:06 7:29 I did not have to delete anything from the transition file after importing it (Apparently, using *markers* gives better control over what is exported) 7:49 The Blur-box filter's Width and Height parameters are no longer in pixels, but rather in percentages. I used Width=50%, Height=0%. 8:02 The problem seems to have disappeared. The blur-box filter no longer creates vertical dark areas at the edges, so there is no longer need to apply an SPR filter
Thanks. Great tips for saving time.
Glad you liked the video.

Hi, if you select a clip and double-click it, the playhead goes to the beginning of the clip.
@@jonrayjr421 thank you 🙂
Hi Jonray, thanks for the video. I have a question: the Motion-blur pan transitions have to be created on the keyframe? not the normal timeline?
Yes, to create the movement you have to use the keyframes panel. The effect is seen in the preview pane. Thanks for watching the tutorial!

i saw the same exact video 2 months ago
I originaly put it on my "Shotcut Short examples" channel while I prepared Part 2, then uploaded both parts on this channel. Well spotted!
