you could not imagine my shock as i was playing this video in the background while drawing, only then looking up to see THE CHEF DRESSED IN A KETCHUP COSTUME
What a unique dining experience! Very pricey, but well worth it, IMO. I'm honestly kind of shocked that Disney hasn't ripped off this idea yet. Imagine this with Remy from Ratatouille. They would be making boatloads of cash!
I remember afew years ago going to a posh restaurant like this in London, though there wasnt any projection but the 5 course meal cost over £100 each and were very similar in size, afterwards we went to a local bar for a couple of drinks and then we realised we were all hungry an hour later so went to a local KFC lol
The premise of this is so cool but it's honestly hard to ignore the mediocrity of the projected program (especially that awful 3d modeling/animation...) I couldn't make it through the annoyingness of the little guys voice even in a video, imagine having to pay for it.
Agreed, the graphics really let it down. This is all pre-rendered video too, so it's not like it's being done real-time either, so it's perfectly possible to have made higher quality videos for this instead.
it's a projector on a table trying to reproduce a 3d perspective , it will look a lot better in person than it does in the video. it's like recording a movie in a theater on your phone , it will look like crap 99% of the time. sure resolution could be a bit higher but nothing they can't improve if they wanted to (higher resolution means more expensive projectors and of course rerendering the animations).
Glad you had fun with this! For me it's just not a worthy experience, the course looks amazing, but I couldn't enjoy such kiddy lightwork and constant "entertaining" speech for more than first five minutes AND giving so much money for all of that! Btw after you mentioned nasi lemak I am now in need for coconutty rice mm
I love your videos, thank you for sharing this horrible nightmare, haha. I am happy that you enjoyed it, as an animator I can imagine the horror of having to see this again, and again just to finish the work.
Though not my thing, I do appreciate the effort to make it an experience for those attending. The dishes were interesting and the presentation was different, but had enjoyable moments. Keep up with the great vids.
@ashtonashton7559 'he' is indeed correct, Mr bacon's is the one who films. Mrs. Bacon's is normally the smiling bubbly subject always fills me with joy seeing that big smile when something is very tasty!
I don’t know what to think of this episode. I really enjoy this channel. I hope you enjoyed yourselves. I couldn’t make it to the end of the video. Have a good day. I look forward to more videos.
This is by far one if not the most innovative and enjoyable dining experience you have presented. I thoroughly enjoyed this and wish there was one close to me to be able to experience for myself. Thank you from S. California, USA for this wonderful video!
A very silly experience, it was fun to watch and learning the food history was interesting! I wouldn't go myself as that's far too much money, thanks for making a video on it Bacons 💜💜
I bet this is better in person, though I enjoyed it 🥰. I couldn't follow the narration in full due to sound distortion, but I was able to follow the visuals. Soooo much fun! Thank you for sharing, the food looked delicious 😋 Until our next adventure 🍀
For the kids this so fun to watch while waiting their food but damn for us it's like decade to serve another dish to think i should buy the ingredients and made myself food
The absolute highest and purest form of Art. My fiance cried while watching this. she too is an artist and she said la petiite chef breathed life back into her artists soul. Thank you LaPetite Chef. For you are the heart and soul of art.
This was certainly an experience, cute, visual, slightly hypnotizing, the snacks looked adorable,so did the little Chef, felt like Disney to me. 💰💰💰Very entertaining. I hope you weren't too hungry.
Celebrity Cruises has been running this eating “experience” on a number of their cruise packages for a few years now. Disney have also started to use this concept on their cruises, basically using 3D and ‘magic’….and yes it’s expensive!
While this defnitely leaned into the presentation factor, I have to admit that the presentation in question was quite engaging, and I'm sure the bites of food were flavor-packed indeed (even if they weren't substantial as a meal). Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for sharing this unique adventure. Although I am sorry. I was not able to watch the whole video. It was hard to understand and along with the lighting and movement aggravated my headache. I do hope you had fun.
I think this is more for the experience of it than actually what you get on the plate. The food did look good though. The little chef reminded me of the old cartoon series, "Inch High Private Eye."
this is a ≈200$ pp here in the states and no one wants to eat alone. I think it’s cool but for the duration of a movie and such small portions it’s seems way too overpriced. Maybe we have larger portions over here.
Ah, so it's one of those fine dining experience... Walk out of the restaurant after and make a pit stop at a McDs right? I'm sorry but I'm not spending $200 on like 3 bites of food that doesn't even look appetizing lol😂
seeing a little chef talking about the colonization of america and the introduction of tomatoes to the Europeans was NOT in my bingo card but this ich my brain in the right place, good as always !!!
Interesting. Was difficult to understand some of the french accent but that's part of their experience, so can't complain. I didn't know that history before about tomatoes, and enjoyed the art/food history parts.
It is very long and quite interesting! If you're in it for the food like other restaurants, then this could feel tedious, but if you're in it for the experience, I think it could be a very unique experience 😉 Note: If you're bored by it, use the speed adjustment option! 1.25~1.5x works well.
you could not imagine my shock as i was playing this video in the background while drawing, only then looking up to see THE CHEF DRESSED IN A KETCHUP COSTUME
AHHAHHAAHHAHAHAHHA STOP IM LAUGHING RN
HELPPP THIS IS SO REAL
BAHAHAHA I CANT
😭
I’M SO GLAD I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD THAT HAPPEN😭😭😭😭
What a unique dining experience! Very pricey, but well worth it, IMO. I'm honestly kind of shocked that Disney hasn't ripped off this idea yet. Imagine this with Remy from Ratatouille. They would be making boatloads of cash!
They have it’s on Disney cruise or something
Maybe they patented this first
Disney would probably try to sue anyone else doing it if they held the patent or trademark or whatever for this
Or beauty & the beast!! ❤❤
Imagine doing this while high as a kite
"Bro these edibles aint sh-"
(5 minutes later)
Nobody would care, druggie. Don’t do that at cirque de soleil though, they will know…
I am lol
On shrooms 😂 ohhh my god people wouldn’t believe you 😂
You should learn about VR gaming.
All I can think about is that my stomach will still be empty by the time everything is over 😂
Same lol
Stomach AND wallet empty 😅 but we can watch for free and eat our noodles 😂
I remember afew years ago going to a posh restaurant like this in London, though there wasnt any projection but the 5 course meal cost over £100 each and were very similar in size, afterwards we went to a local bar for a couple of drinks and then we realised we were all hungry an hour later so went to a local KFC lol
Not only that but the food in these kind of tasting menus is often cold, because theres not enough mass to keep it warm.
True😂
Did he remember to take off his shoes before walking all over your plate? 🤣
So he can walk on my plate with his FEET!!! Phhh I think not lmao
😂😂 yall said it
but you didnt forget the cringe
It would’ve been better if they adjusted the voice to be deeper. I can barely understand him past the bad accent.
yeah a natural voice would just sound better to the ear.
The premise of this is so cool but it's honestly hard to ignore the mediocrity of the projected program (especially that awful 3d modeling/animation...) I couldn't make it through the annoyingness of the little guys voice even in a video, imagine having to pay for it.

I liked it, i think youre just being animation snobs
@@flannelpillowcase6475...people are allowed to not like things that you do. Maybe you just like mediocre things.
You gotta give them a good job for their effort
Imo it looks great

Looks fun but not $300 fun.
actually it is $142 per person
@@uvickymcbread434still pricy
@@uvickymcbread434yeah so close to $300 for him and his partner.
I wish there were subtitles for the voiceovers. I have no idea what they’re saying and it honestly sucks not being able to enjoy it.
yeah
as a french I literally didn’t understand a word of what he was saying but he seems to be a nice guy
The amount of effort and dedication to put on this long show is really admirable!
You'd have to pay ME to sit and watch 45 minutes of this absolute tripe
I had to stop the video after 5 minutes because it was so annoying. Can't imagine to cringe for 45 minutes straight in that dining hall 😅
Huh idk why you two are being such sticks in the mud, i thought it was really cute and amusing
@@flannelpillowcase6475 fr
Plan:
1. Get baked.
2. Go to the tiny chef dinner experience.
3. Trip out and chow down.
That was an amazing video! Thank you!
trip out for sure but chow down what? If the munchies are strong this tiny ass meal would barely cover it
Pregame with a cheeseburger from mcd
@@aaronryder4008
Bruh I thought this whole vid was going to show holographic meatloaf or food like Plankton was eating.
Holographic meatloaf again?
When am I gonna get some REAL food?

this was the most trippy episode i've seen of dancing bacons to date-
I looked down for one minute to check something and then there was a tiny man on the plate
Trippybacons
17:35 the way they didn’t put the plate back in the same spot is so frustrating, it’s so obvious, just scoot it down a bit 😭
Exactly!
That messed with my OCD so bad 😂
I love your videos, thank you for sharing this horrible nightmare, haha.
I am happy that you enjoyed it, as an animator I can imagine the horror of having to see this again, and again just to finish the work.
I'd call this watching a movie instead of dining
THANK YOU!
Like where's my food? And I imagine you'll need to wear a VR headset..just hanging heavy on your head..so another layer of discomfort. Nah
Though not my thing, I do appreciate the effort to make it an experience for those attending. The dishes were interesting and the presentation was different, but had enjoyable moments. Keep up with the great vids.
This would probably be a much more enjoyable experience if the petit chef didn’t talk
That miss aligned plate is sooo irritating throwing me off
Thank you. I knew I couldn't be the only one 🤦🏽♀️ Kept fast forwarding to see if he ever nudged it back into place smh
They nudged it :))) 🎉🎉

It was aligned

Unique experience indeed. But yeah, don't expect to be full after the show ended lol
10:03 - 'but be warned, the stem is not edible'....11:00 - *nom nom nom* 😭😂
Why did my mind think that there was a literal landmine in the thumbnail. 💀
Tasty landmine. Nomnomnom
Wait and now the thumbnail changed 💀

Need Le Petit Chef vs Remy the Rat right now.
Epic Rap Battles style
Remy would kick this guy’s ass
The server consistently putting the plate back wrong sends me 😂
This is brilliant! As much as I personally prefer a regular sit down meal, with the entertainment presented before or after, I love this idea.
I bet this is better in person, though I enjoyed it 🥰. I couldn't follow the narration in full due to sound distortion, but I was able to follow the visuals. Soooo much fun!

It's a nice idea... but to be honest, I like to focus more on the food itself and just eat relaxed without any light or sound show 🙃
With the (French) Herve Villechaize, sound alike I kept expecting to hear Boss, boss, the plane the plane!
What a wonderful experience, thanks for taking us with you!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

What a unique Dinning Experience. Thank you love your filming 🎥 very enjoyable wonderful job.
This kind of stuff will just end up snoozing.
What a cute experience to have while dining. But sadly I must live vicariously through this channel.
It is different in a good way. Food looks delicious. Entertaining as well.

Glad to watch the show for free. Thank you. With tip and inflation I'm sure that would be $500 canadian. Yikes.
The Ketchup Costume caught me off guard.
I could see Disney trying something like this with Princess Tiana.
What an awesome dining experience! I wanna try this for myself! SO COOL! 😄😄😄
So mad that the plate was not aligned properly lol

He sounds like the guy from Fantasy Island. "The plane, the plane" Such a distraction from the actual food. We kept fast forwarding.
Yeah me too
I’m tempted too…

“The plane! The plane!” 😂

Basically don't go there if your really hungry you don't get much.
