The pumpkin jelly with the rabbit shaped yam was so cute. What a cute way to reference the japanese myth of the rabbit that lives in the moon. So adorable.
Quite a Japanese experience 🇯🇵🎎 The pottery, the meat and food, the cooking, the amicable service, the music, the set up, the portions, the drinks, the soups, the bits and pieces, the presentation, and the amazing hotspot design. Of course, the cherry on the top is Shander's gestures of approval and personality 🤗🥰 Thank you for sharing 🙏
the server asking if its delicious/good and saying thank you to the complements after every new bite is so cute and sweet. usually table service this directly would stress me out but the check ins are just so nice it would've loosened me right up into just enjoying the meal
*Little hint for you guys that hate chewing noises:* YT has implemented some sort of setting called 'stable volume'. I believe this boosts quieter noises, like the mouth and chewing sounds. If this is off-putting for you, click the gear icon, and turn the stable volume setting off. The difference is night and day.
I am not sure who the lady is in the videos, but seeing her reactions to food making her so happy always makes me happy, plus the server asking her if the beef was good so excitedly was very sweet to see!
seeing mrs db be so so so happy everytime she tries something good just makes me so full of joy. im so grateful that she is unapologetically happy!! you're both so wonderful, thank you both
I love the perfection of the steps that the auntie follows. It's like poetry in motion. In the States, we are all about pushing food out quickly and have lost the art of beauty in the delicacy of food preparation. Perhaps we never had that fluid grace at all
Before the food even came out that had me excited by covering the bag, protecting it from any food or cooking residue! LOVE THAT! They not only care for the customer but they also care for their items! And the careful, gentle way the lady cooks, making sure they get equal portions, it’s a level of service I’m so impressed by!
Oba-san definitely knew her stuff and took good care of you two! And as usual, Mrs. Bacons was her customary cute and pretty self--her yum yum faces are one of my favorite things to watch about this channel. Someday, Japan, I shall return to thee!
A lot of restaurants in the west are super loud, sometimes it’s nice when it’s lively but a lot of places blast music super loud and everyone tries to talk over until it’s super overwhelming - this seems so nice and relaxed in contrast!
I went there before. Its very yummy. They change menu according to the season. I went there during summer, I am not a big fan of sashimi but it tasted amazing. The big slice of beef is very soft and tender.
I love the concept of pouring a nice hot broth or soup from a teapot! And everything looks so delicious! Especially the meat platter! Look at that marbling!😋😋😋
Thank you, it was certainly interesting to see what goes for a Japanese luxury seasonal autumn feast (foraged mushrooms, gingko nuts etc.) and until I get to enjoy such a feast, the last dish, those soft eggs scrambled in sukiyaki sauce with mushrooms and boiled greens over rice seem approachable and doable at home.
Man looks so good, Japanese just have a way with aesthetics that make things special. Also the little bit extra of hiding that induction range. Wouldn't have noticed until it was pointed out.
Ooh, I love the shamisen playing in the background. I'll have to save this because when my Son takes me to Japan, I want to treat him to a nice meal. This was absolute perfection. 🫶🏼 Okay DB, spill the beans; do both of you speak Japanese? I'm thinking that you're both multilingual.
I have an induction burner that I got at a yard sale $10. It's amazing how it can cook yet remain cool. It made me feel safer teaching my young grandchildren to cook. But having it mounted under the table like that is genius. I wonder if I could build a set up like that for doing hot pot with my hubby. Luckily we are both at the age where we can't do the spicy Sichuan so the tomato base or creamy base suits us just fine.
The sukiyaki looks very good and the lady preparing it seems very friendly. Personally, I prefer simplier sukiyaki, which is cheaper, with more meat, and where I can prepare the food myself. Its social and take to prepare it yourself, and take your time. I dont often eat meat, but when I do, and eat something like sukiyaki, normal quality which is all you can eat, is prefered.
Matsutake mushrooms are a very seasonal, very expensive delicacy. They haven't been successfully cultivated, so wild Masutake mushrooms have to be hand picked in usually remote forests and are hard to find, which accounts for their high prices. When they appear in a few local markets in my area, they can be $50-100 a pound. I've gone mushroom hunting a few times and rarely got more than a few Matsutake after walking around the mountains for hours.
Way out of my budget, but it looked fairly priced for what you get in the amount and quality of food, as well as the excellence of service. I _do_ question them calling the cooked egg dish an omelet, though. Looked like more of a scramble to me. Maybe something was lost in translation, I don't know.
This is why I like japan, sure sometimes they have unhealthy things, but then again they also make healthy and tasty food, and it’s enjoyable to watch them cook. Warms my heart.
they have unhealthy things daily...since they eat white polished short grain rice which is super gluttonous. it's like eating pasta each day and pure sugar. then they fry a lot of things and I don't mean tempura style but in general , all the sauces soy sauce is added to each dish is also full of sugar etc.
Mrs.Dancing Bacon has the patience of an angel because my hungry bum would never wait for my mans to get his food 😂😂😂😂😂. I’m done before his gets served.
Nice presentation but ngl I would still be hungry after those type of restaurants are for the ones who don’t really eat that much or get full quickly but still love the video ❤
The grandma cook has immaculate vibes, the gentleness in which she handles food, oh my gosh
yes, I adored her
У каждого-й,своя ,работа.Кто-то,пьет, кто-то бьёт, кто-то готовит, кто-то...............
Indeed Japanese hospitality at its finest

Ikr that was wholesome ❤
I'm the same but this feels like your grandma is cooking for you.
@@Woozlewuzzleable Honestly that makes it even better imo
@@celarts5752 Exactly.

That's his wife
It’s mrs. Bacon
That was his partner
She is mrs dancing bacon
That was Mrs. DancingBacons and we absolutely adore her reactions to food!
What a nice lovely grandma, she is very sweet to both of you ❤
seeing mrs db be so so so happy everytime she tries something good just makes me so full of joy. im so grateful that she is unapologetically happy!! you're both so wonderful, thank you both
It feels disingenuous like mark weems reaction to foods.
I think they may both be mrs db
It is so sweet and hearing the hostess say "thank you" for the reactions too, like it was such a compliment to see her enjoying the food!
It's called gluttony.
@SicKno-i5r dude whats wrong with you
The lady serving was lovely! I loved that I could hear the smile in her voice when she asked Mrs Bacons if the food was tasty 💜

I like to see Ms Bacon every time. She seems to enjoy the good meals and always being like a sunshine in any place.
Induction cooking BUILT INTO THE TABLE is next level service!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
FINALLY 🎉 I genuinely missed this beautiful lady! Mrs DB! That smile, the nodding, her love for food- it’s just so wholesome ❤
Ive been here several times, luckily they offer cheaper courses and you get the same amazing customer service!
Oba-san definitely knew her stuff and took good care of you two! And as usual, Mrs. Bacons was her customary cute and pretty self--her yum yum faces are one of my favorite things to watch about this channel. Someday, Japan, I shall return to thee!
Big reason i wanna go to japan is just to try the eggs, they always look so good.
Love your videos so much. Idk why but they're a big comfort.
The shamisen in the background is a nice touch. Something I wish American Japanese restaurants would do, but I guess most people wouldn’t like it.

Tons of them do in the south. But they also have a huge community here too so. Lol😂
I just love all of your hotpot and barbeque videos...love you db

I love watching her reactions. So cute 😊

me and my boyfriends anniversary dinner is monday and we are getting hotpot. this makes me look forward to it! ^_^

I would recommend doing it in a pan where you have just cooked meat, if you wish to replicate it. It adds a wonderful flavor

I believe they live in Singapore, where being multilingual is extremely common!

this looked so good and the pottery was amazing craftwork too thank you for sharing your experience🤌
Everything looked so yummy and lovely and while expensive it was beautifully cooked and served.
It was worth the price for the experience.
These are some of my all time favorite videos ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Finally a hotpot video!
It's always good to see a hotpot video. Nice!
It has been too long since we've seen Miss DancingBeacons again. Happy she's back again 👍
😮 was not expecting the hotpot to link up with the table like that! Really neat how far tech has come

japans attention to detail is amazing
this just made my morning
Something about her voice is so calming.
I watch your food videos while having my india food , and I feel that I am the one whose eating all the dishes in your video 😊😅
Everything looks amazing 🤤
Mrs bacons always makes me smile she gets all bubbly when she tasts the food. reminds me of my mum when she was still with us.
The presentation so aesthetic n tempting 😮indeed
My question is why would someone dislike these videos?
I had Sukiyaki once,a long time ago, and it was the best thing I had ever tasted.
I have never tasted anything like it since ❤
The lady with you is sooo cute. I'm glad you had a great evening!

Having said that, maybe for a special occasion, this luxury sukiyaki would be great :-).
Did auntie say Thank you, out of nowhere? 😆 Thought that was random... Her service was top tier, of course, and food looks delish
Oooh fancy. Outstanding presentation.
That appetizer was gorgeous!
This was so relaxing to watch 😊

Always enjoy your videos!!
I love sukiyaki and tempura! 🍲 🍤
best food channel of sg
You guys are AWESOME!!!!!
That looks like so much fun. I'm glad you got to try it
So, if you are stranded on an island. You can pretty much eat the island. Especially if you are stranded with a Japanese chef. Amazing.
Happy notification db
Funny! I'm currently in search of matsutake mushrooms in Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town!
Quite the classy meal, looks amazing!
I bought some sukiyaki sauce and video like this is pretty helpful for me to figure it out
Damn, that omelette mixed with the cooked oil from before looked SO GOOD

@@glasperle77 if they managed to stay healthy for so long, then it means they have successfully balanced healthy and unhealthy foods. So props to them
I also like to cook, but yours looks and tastes so good.
I am not fond of raw eggs - but that's just me. Thanks for a good video
I had seen sukiyaki hotpot in an episode of Shinchan. Now I understand why it is such a special dish.
japan and their innovative tech 😮 👏🏻
Enjoyed seeing you soo happy.....
Same, DB's videos are so happy and calming at the same time 😊
What an experience but if that was me after eating all of these... I will still be hungry. But the food looks soooo good though.
Can this grandma adopt me I’d be so happy ❤
Definitely a fun Dinner
I got so used to sukiyaki being the one with a lot of soup that this method of making it seems new to me.
For US$138 per person
How can you go wrong with top notch ingredients
Mrs.Dancing Bacon has the patience of an angel because my hungry bum would never wait for my mans to get his food 😂😂😂😂😂. I’m done before his gets served.
Looks delicious 🤤
Uma experiência diferenciada. 😊
The people commenting that dancingbacons has “male hands” is so funny bc what does that even mean lol
This made me hungry 😂 Ive only eaten chocolate bread today
I love your smile!!! ❤
I love mss Dancing Bacons so much
0:23 se extrañaba a la señora baccon... Saludos desde el casco de Santo Tomás CDMX 👍🇲🇽
I like how the world is like, "DON'T EAT GLUTEN!'. Then you go to Japan and they're like, "straight gluten for me please. Thanks."
Had similar sukiyaki experience during my stay in Beppu. This is the type of service that I would tips top-dollars for. It’s a shame I can’t do so.
Definitely eat with our eyes. I love food visually beautiful 😍
Local agradavel, adorei a refeicao❤❤
That was $308????
Nice presentation but ngl I would still be hungry after those type of restaurants are for the ones who don’t really eat that much or get full quickly but still love the video ❤
I love this!
INLOVE YOUR CHANEL I WATCH THE VIDEOS IN CLASS
Even the table is amazing electric hot plate built in 💲👍
$308 For Sukiyaki Is Crazy!
I want to adopt the sweet grandma
Just in time for my lunch😂! ❤😊
