Maverick: No. X: You've gone Maverick! *X destroys the Maverick* Like, X doesn't hesitate _at all_ in this game. He did in The Day of Sigma, but once he pulled the shining finger attack on Sigma, he got past that hesitance and developed a _fiery hatred_ for Mavericks.
It could be argued that X talking to them and giving them a chance to stop before shooting them down is a sign of hesitation. I wouldn't say he's that hot-blooded in the initial interactions (although he is definitely ticked off by the end of the game), but more angry at his former colleagues for betraying the Maverick Hunters and deciding to become terrorists. It's more directed than a blanket hate, and even then it varies.

He'd sooner destroy the threat than allow them to continue harming innocents. And if they'd gone with the original route of X becoming the bad guy in the Zero series (though I'm glad they didn't), it would make more sense for _this_ X to become that well-intentioned extremist than, say, X7's X.

After the day of sigma ova and how his hesitation got a lot of innocents killed I don't blame him for being this mad, specially after their betrayal and even then, giving them a chance to surrender yet all of them show him they are hell bent in being Mavericks. They're far gone and he wont hesitate. However the final battle hooo boy.... That was straight bloodlust.
I managed to beat the hard mode and, compared to the SNES game, this one ended up being a little easier. Taking 100%, and killing everyone in Buster, with the right to no-damage in both forms of Sigma. Nice Work, Man!!
It's funny to me that Light thought it would be important for his sentient robot to be able to smash blocks with his head in the future, especially considering how little it comes up

This a great remake of Megaman X from when it was released on the SNES and too bad they didn't remake X2 and X3 that would have been awesome and X3 could have made Zero completely playable as an unlockable same story playing as Zero with bad ending being dr doppler saving Zero from Sigma virus and good ending being X saves Zero from Sigma virus.it would have been cool had this been an actual anime as a tie in too megaman X games just like Resident evil games and movies degradation,damnation and vendetta.
I was really looking forward to watching this playthrough, but I lost a LOT of interest in ever trying this version of the game when I saw Vile's health bar. That COMPLETELY ruins the feeling of that unbeatable boss that made the second Vile fight so satisfying.
Yeah this version definitely has a MUCH better told actual story than the original, probably being one of the best stories in the X series period, but it takes a lot away from the player’s story with Vile

This and powered up were suposed to be continues remakes of the rest of og and x games, but since both sold poorly, they were scrappees, thats why they stay traped in psp and the rest keep getting portes
I must say. That buster charging sound is incredibly obnoxious. It's a nice looking remake though. Can't speak for it's quality without playing it. Tight platformers like this really have to be felt out. But from looking at it I can appreciate the effort that went into recreating it.

This remake was, unfortunately, a failure, which ended up making an X2 and X3 in this style unfeasible. Even though this game is inferior to the original Mega Man X, it is still a good game, but unfortunately it didn't work out, which is a real shame.
Clearly the modern graphics doesn't fit the gameplay Since lot of issue about the blindspots, the special effects and such, that looks simpler in pixelated version This kinda quality nowadays became mobile game standard Even if you compared the other classic remake, such as contra return, metal slug awakening etc They pretty much has the same vibe 😅
I loved seeing the same from Vile's point of view. He was like Anakin being seduced to the dark side.....plus who would have thought that one of Wily's creations would become a hero?
