I have about 10 BU 1965 pennies .. I am going to get them graded. They are bright- I beleive they are MS 68+ massive shiny luster and no wear.

Helpful tool if you don't have magnifier on your possession and in the edit settings there's a magnifier setting to further zoom any photo... you can always take a zoomed in photo with your phone the phones today are amazing especially because of the camera capabilities.

I've been collecting for 6 years. not very long, but I believe I may have nice ddo attribute contender. Yes I'm learning everyday about ddos. I do have a major ddo proof 1971s. Anyhow I would love to send some pics for some feedback on thoughts. There is definitely some maybe I have it. Just not totally confident . I could use a more educated collectors opinion
Can you make a video explaining the differences between like a 67 vs 67+? I have a few pennies I think are 67 maybe even 68 bit can't tell the difference.
I bought a 1963 Plymouth (more door)(4dr) at one time driven by lady school teacher. She must've enjoyed back seat with a male friend in a saucy way as I pulled out 2 handfuls of old change from under that seat. Some in very nice condition. Estimate from early 90's-2002 of coins circulating then.

Sean, I was on the local bus listening to one of your marketing reports an this older lady over hearing you said I started saving coins and I have a couple on me she gave me the vile with about 6 or 7 coins in it and 1 caught my eye, it was a silver dime but when I looked at the date it was a 1965 In excellent couldn't condition condition

I have Quarters. 1965. 1966. 1967. One 1968 I just found today a quarter with the head of the queen on both side of the quarter

I have a 1965, pretty worn, the word liberty has a discernable 'L' but no 'i' and does not appear to have been scratched out. Wondering if it could be double struck?

My question is how can you tell what mint it came from? I thought 65-67 the u.s. mint didn't use mint marks..
All were made in philly. None in Denver or sanfran.
Thanks for sharing different errors, it's nice to see and know what they are, I do have some!! I only send in one top coin, to see top grade, it was 1996 D! It is red has fabulous mint line's like, it was brand new! It has nice rainbow toning to it! The rest are varieties and my full steps!!
They pay the high grading prices and see what happen.Will be disappointed with their standers.The point is to real you in so they can make money not you!

hey I have two 1964/ pennies one has D mint and the other has no mint ,I also have a 1965 penny with a weird back its like a cross between penny & dime.
I have at least 8 rolls of 1965 pennies that are uncirculated I guess I will go through them now.

I just checked my 1965 under my new microscope and it has D. D. O. R. . I am shaking as I haven't checked a lot of new looking pennies yet.

Get it graded by pcgs or ngc if it is not graded it is not worth a lot accept a couple of bucks. If it does not have a lot of marks and scratches then I would get it graded use a 10x coin loupe Bausch and lamb and Hastings I would use. My spelling on the brand may be a little off.
Read up on grades and buy The American Numismatic Association Grading Standards book it has grading pictures and written descriptions on the coins. Use your own best judgement before you send it off to be graded.

I have a 1965 no mint mark close am how can I show you my coins.+the 2009 penny with the log cabin on the reverse.
Grading or De-grading? I have a 1965 penny that is in really good condition, but it has some tarnish and a little dirty on the Lincoln figure. If this drops the value way down, then if someone wants to sell a coin similar to mine, it wise to put it on line.

I've got this crazy 1965 Lincoln cent it's not copper ...not steal ..it's slightly. Slightly magnetic and it's gold plated ..I've taken it to coin shops ...well one coin shop and they couldn't tell me anything about it ...it's not fake ...but then I guess it is fake ...very odd coin I don't know anyone that knows enough or cares about coins like myself but I'd really like to show it to someone who knows their stuff

i watched this when it was new. then i got a lot of 1965s and found three of them. i have the ddr-002 and ddr-003 and haven't looked through all of them yet. i might try all three as a set. you ought to update, though. the infinite knowledge ran out that time.

That weird Lincoln cent with the cloth pattern; I want to say it involved two men fighting over a cheating wife, and one of their shirts were caught in the die. The fight ended abruptly. They all looked around at each other with a look of wonder, and disbelief. They all realised how precious life is. They all realised life is too short to spend it fighting with one another. They walked out the door to live happily ever after.
.... then they were hit by a bus.
And that, my friends, is how the unluckiest penny in the world was created.

sounds like a woody penny, the story is not believable as the us mint keeps armed guards on the floors of the mint and in every room, there would never have been a fight of that caliber as the U.S. Marshals and Treasury agents would not allow it, they also wear protective garb over their clothes to prevent contamination of coins in process!
