6:49 Fun Fact: Claude is the only Main lord who (A) Smiles at you when you meet again and (B) Is standing in the light, The other two either look at the moon or sulk in the darkness.
Edelgard didn't have any other options to reach her goal, but I won't spoil why. She'll explain it in her route if you play it. ;) This game's lore is crazy good and well thought out. Even though I disagree with her methods, I adore Edelgard and admire her conviction. She was really in a lose/lose and decided to make the best of it.
now everyone. imagine this. you just started fire emblem three houses, you start the game on normal. and then i tell you to not use your main lord ever until the timeskip. you would think im INSANE and without me being able to say the why you would be right to think so so here is why this INSANE strategy actually works. on timeskip two things happen 1. your lord gets a new class that they automatically change into. 2. ON NORMAL ONLY every unit that is not level 20 auto levels to level 20, with all the rng that normally exists if they level in combat. keep in mind tho that weapon ranks are not affected by timeskip. so lets take claude he got a new wyvern class. as with any class, there are base stats and if your stats are too low you get stats on changing into the classs (we saw this last video with hanneman getting +4 speed cause of how trash his speed was) the thing is, FIRST the lord switches class, THEN the levels happen so, wyvern master has 17 BASE strength so if a level 1 claude hits timeskip, the strength is now 17 and THEN claude gets 19 levels FOR FREE with all the strength growth he normally has this can result in a claude with strength anywhere from 17 - 36 and its not just strength that escalates like this. ALL STATS DO since they follow the same rules but have different starting values. so the speedrun uses this to create a god unit for part 2. as a comparison point to how broken this is 14:14 your claude is lvl 25 and has 21 strength Byleth is level 30 and has 30 strength
The timeskip is here and it’s ready to throw hands 😈 So many fun things about this chapter to me, including the absolute dick punch of a battle this one is lol. The post time skip characters are so good, I love the small little shifts in characterization that show that the students aren’t teens anymore, like Ignatz’s combat lines being more confident, Hilda actually taking charge for once when it came to rebuilding the monastery, stuff like that makes the timeskip feel more realistic. Plus the DRIP??? Claude is looking fresh as hell ‼️‼️ and is still a total bro. Golden deer will forever be my favourite lol
For me, this is where the game gets really good. It gets a tiny bit hardy too, although not anything unmanageable (so long as you’re not playing on maddening difficulty haha 😅)
1:00 Assassination of Rhea wouldn't really fix anything tbh. Worship of Crests is baked into the culture and religion of Fodlan and the only way that changes is if the overall power of the church is reduced and the systems of power themselves are forced to change.
In this second half of the game, when a character gets defeated, they speak as if they’re actually dying…which is actually what happens because if a certain character dies, a different one will take theirs
49:17 while in universe its crazy, potentially in a good way, i feel this decision is more guided by the fact that the voiced dialogue needs a way to call you and cause byleths name is changable they cant call you byleth its like how in persona 5 everyone calls the mc joker.
Damn youre 18? You sound like you're a 25yo grown ass man. Glzd you enjoyed the chapter! This one is an absolute nightmare on Maddening, some people actially got softlocked. You did good!
fun fact the monestery and the church are the only places in fodland were nobility and status doesn´t matter, everyone is equal under them. that´s why killing rhea wouldn´t change anything but edelgard is let us call it confused XD
correction on that. your own units already could have died at any point. unless they are plot mandated, in which case they either "retreat" from the battle field and would never be usable again, or ooutright force a divine pulse. same goes for enemies btw. alot of them "retreating" is just cause the plot needs em later. even if you have been farming them for xp.
So until now the house you picked barely affected things. any cutscene that had the lord in them would be slightly altered depending on who it is but in general nothing changes until the holy tomb. part 2 however is very different depending on house chosen.
They grow up so fast when you’re unconscious for half a decade 😢
😭 that’s fire emblem
The whole class be looking like a skittles pack 🟢🔵🟣🟡🟠🩷💜
😂😂
they do. which is why at the start i used colors to say "give lysethea lorenz relic" in the comments.

sulk in darkness is crazy lol i picked the right route lol
One moment they're students, next they're leaders or soldiers. They grew up so fast
frl, too fast
Lorenz had the best glow up out of everyone.
But also the bar was on the floor so there was nowhere to go but up
definitely lmaoo

you just started fire emblem three houses,
you start the game on normal.
and then i tell you to not use your main lord ever until the timeskip.
you would think im INSANE and without me being able to say the why you would be right to think so
so here is why this INSANE strategy actually works.
on timeskip two things happen
1. your lord gets a new class that they automatically change into.
2. ON NORMAL ONLY every unit that is not level 20 auto levels to level 20, with all the rng that normally exists if they level in combat.

so lets take claude
he got a new wyvern class.
as with any class, there are base stats and if your stats are too low you get stats on changing into the classs (we saw this last video with hanneman getting +4 speed cause of how trash his speed was)
the thing is, FIRST the lord switches class, THEN the levels happen
so, wyvern master has 17 BASE strength
so if a level 1 claude hits timeskip, the strength is now 17
and THEN claude gets 19 levels FOR FREE with all the strength growth he normally has
this can result in a claude with strength anywhere from 17 - 36
and its not just strength that escalates like this. ALL STATS DO since they follow the same rules but have different starting values.
so the speedrun uses this to create a god unit for part 2.

big W’s for the deers fo sho!!
It took five years, but Marianne finally caught some sleep. Now she thinks more positively.
that’s all she needed lol😂😂

I've been waiting for the timeskip for the story but also MY BOY LORENZ ATE WITH THE NEW CUT 😭 he look flamboyant as hell, huuuge upgrade
very huge, tho improving what he already had wasn’t really hard since it was mid😭
@@xieltic9275 True but he knocked it outta the park imo
I made popcorn when I saw you uploaded this
now that’s what am talkin bout!!

Imagine being that villager finding the second coming of god floating down the river, and going back home not knowing who he just gave the time to.
that’s actually crazy, he’ll know eventually
@@xieltic9275 By the time it happens, nobody is going to believe him, poor guy

yea am still a youngin lol, and i couldn’t imagine it on maddening that sounds tuff asl
Byleth sheepishly returns to the monastery 5 years later, having finally located a pack of cigarettes at the bottom of the canyon.
fun fact the monestery and the church are the only places in fodland were nobility and status doesn´t matter, everyone is equal under them. that´s why killing rhea wouldn´t change anything but edelgard is let us call it confused XD
😭😭 this why she need to he stopped
21:41 yeah 31 crit rate is awesome. again thats why we love killer weapons. they just have 30 crit
Oh boy TIMESKIP TIMEEEEE
YUHHH 🔥
Welcome to the timeskip: Where your units can actually die
Also, bows are two range only
time skip we are HERE
correction on that. your own units already could have died at any point. unless they are plot mandated, in which case they either "retreat" from the battle field and would never be usable again, or ooutright force a divine pulse.
same goes for enemies btw. alot of them "retreating" is just cause the plot needs em later. even if you have been farming them for xp.
Also, its implied that when marianne isn't recruited, she kills herself during timeskip
So until now the house you picked barely affected things. any cutscene that had the lord in them would be slightly altered depending on who it is but in general nothing changes until the holy tomb.
part 2 however is very different depending on house chosen.
that’s good to hear
Timeskip, timeskip
What would your 5 year timeskip design be like, xieltic?
honestly idk, maybe i would have a beard or sum too
#edelgarddidnothingwrong
😭
