The way I normally approach Lunatic+ is the way I approach everything in life. I put it off for as long as possible until I forget about it. It doesn't work for everything, but it's guarunteed to work here. I haven't lost a single time.

@@zakalot no some of them literally don’t die because the plot still needs them to be relevant, they instead "retire", for gameplay purposes it’s the same thing, you can no longer play as them. But at the end of the game where they tell you what became of the characters it shows on which map they died, or retired. For example Frederic doesn’t really die because he still has to talk a lot in the scripted scenes

Guarunteed safe kill on the first boss. Equip the Thunder Tome to your Avatar. Make sure none of your characters are paired up. Surround Robin with your characters. This will drop the critical rate of the boss down to 0%. I do not remember if three surrounding Robin or two with a Chrom/Robin pair-up is better against the boss if they have gamble.
@@dustin202 well, actually, sumia is semi-relevant to the plot, which means she doesn't die when she's killed. she just suffers a career-ending injury that forces her to retreat permanently. for gameplay purposes, she's dead since you can never deploy her ever again, just like characters who actually die properly, but she's still technically alive, which allows her to show up in cutscenes and get pregnant with chrom's baby. however, that logical explanation isn't as funny as the idea of chrom fucking a reanimated corpse magvel-style, so we'll just sweep the inconvenient truth under the rug for the sake of comedy.

The main problem with the balancing is that second seals are one of the most overpowered items I’ve seen in any game, and you can just buy them for way less gold than anything that powerful should ever sell for.
On this day, after obtaining DLCs through unspecified measures, I was finally able to beat Lunatic+ after being stuck for several months on Chalter 24 due to only having 2 and a half decent units. Special thanks go to Spotpass Camus and Jaffar due to having Galeforce as their "personal skill", and Altena for being the cheapest good card to purchase by Chapter 5
You must not let him end ANY turn or take any action near any compatible marriage partner or he'll pick one. Sumia is the top pick as well. To get Maiden you have to marry them all off to others or get Chrom to have no Support points with anyone.
Awakening is basically just a rehash of Shadow Dragon, and Marth married a Peg. Knight he had no chemistry- or even notable dialogue- with in that game, so obviously his descendant has to do the same thing. As a wise man once said, "It rhymes".
awakening was my first fire emblem game and on my first playthrough, I played on hard, i think awakening on hard is the perfect difficulty for beginners, it got me hooked into the series and as of now I played every fire emblem that came after awakening on every route. I love it.
I remember beating the normal lunatic mode in awakening and feeling like i played through one of the lamest strategy games ever made, lunatic+ takes all the reasons to hate that mode and makes it worse.

Chapter 3 once you kill all enemies assuming Lissa is still alive. You can deliberately not kill the boss instead going for low damage attacks. You can get quite a few levels this way until Lissa runs out of Heal. I do not have access to Wi-fi and I do not have any DLC so many of these options are not available to me.

I believe even an uninitiated, but possible to start, C support is enough to cause him to marry them. i am beating lunatic plus classic with male avatar +speed / - skill build without DLC but with my unit armsthrift s/l grinding low level spotpass teams using leif's sword (Despoil) for fund. No characters die. My main parings are: Chrom x Sumia My male avatar x Cordelia Sumia 100% MUST get the Galeforce before Lucina join the team. Cordelia can wait one or two more chapters later to get Galeforce. There is simply not enough exp. for Lissa and Maribelle to get Galeforce. Try to pair as many couples as possible to get more experience from their children's maps. feeding Chrom with all the perm stat items. My male avatar class path: Tactician -> Mercenary (for armsthrift) -> Myrmidon ( for Vantage) -> Assassin (Pass + Lethality) -> Sage (tomefaire) -> ends with Sorcerer (for Vengeance and able to use forged aversa's night for maximum damage)
@@dustin202 even an untrained roy can one round manaketes after promotion, that alone makes him good in the endgame chapters. Roy isn't very useful for a large part of the game, but he's decent early game (especially since he has effective damage on horses) and good late. In comparison, there's almost no reason to use eliwood at all outside of the merlinus paralogue, and no reason to use lyn at all. Eliwood and lyn feels like they are better than Roy because they are in a much easier game, but there are some unique and useful things that Roy can give to your army, whereas there's no instance in fe7 where you'd be better off using Eliwood or lyn over another, better unit.

What is the best stat to set Flaw to? I assume Asset is best used on Speed, but I set the Flaw to Luck. Skill is more useful right?
Setting flaw to luck has a chance to get you crit in the first few maps which can instantly kill you. Skill flaw is much more manageable, even if it is technically weaker most of the time.
