It has a very minimal impact on performance, although it could be more noticeable in older setups

Its cool but it does put your gpu at like 20% idle so if you dont have like an rtx 4070 ti+ then your gonna loose alot performance. But even with a 4090 you still loosing 15 fps

Rainmeter has a game mode, which will eliminate all CPU and GPU usage while you're playing a fullscreen game for instance. Great solution to this problem.

@@gosensic yea but still the optimization will be awful as long as it doesn't shut down the program your CPU will have to suffer because it's still has processes running in the background.

@@Greg_1415 It's really not that bad. Even without game mode the impact of this particular skin is minimal. With game mode on, the skins are disabled so the processes have barely any impact on performance.

​​@@gosensic yes this particular skin but when somebody's CPU is running 300 processes while playing at high settings with 4k quality Wich nowadays it's the quality that matters not high settings it's not goin to last very long. It's says that it's disabled but if it actually was after you close the game it shouldn't start on immediately and there shouldn't be any background prosecces running from it. But if you don't care and want your rtx 40 series card to run like a GTX 1050 then ok.

@@Greg_1415 Again, this is highly exaggerated since the performance impact is minimal, we've been using and testing it for years. Game mode disables the skins which are the resource heavy parts of rainmeter. The only thing that will still be enabled in game mode is the tray icon, so that rainmeter can start up again right after you close the game.
