9-5 is not for everyone. Explore life when you’re young and full of energy. There’s so much out there to explore, learn, and grow as a person. Good luck with your next journey.
It’s definitely a big deal! Congratulations on your new adventure! It feels weird at first but it’s worth it. You learn so much about yourself and honestly it’s okay to move on. Trust me your colleagues do stay in touch! I resigned from a position two years ago but keep in touch with my old colleagues on a consistent basis!
Today is the last day in my position working Cyber Security at a small hospital. I accepted a Supervisor roll at another hospital network. My current employer asked that I give a 4 week notice because it was a professional position so I had no issue doing that. My best advice to those of you in a current job is this, life is too short to work in a toxic work environment.
The cool looking tech office, brand name employer, and temporary high paying salary only seems kewl on the surface. What it's really doing is disconnecting us from each other. There needs to be a new movement to put priority to meaning and humanity and relationships first then the tech.
It's cool to see the inside of your workplace. I have been using Windows PCs a majority of my life, probably about half of my time spent living life itself, so it's interesting to me to see a glimpse of where it all comes from. Growing up using Windows 3.11 and DOS 6, I always knew that Microsoft would become the most valuable company in the world at some point and here we are
Hi Karlly, my sister worked at Microsoft for 5 years and she quit too!! I cannot understand why but anyway, she found another job elsewhere that offered better. She did quit before she find the other offer.
Well, now you have tech experience under a very prestigious company. You'll have no problem getting in anywhere. I know you're probably feeling a big rush and that's a part of life on its own. Where to next?
Is it just me, but do you notice UA-camrs who work for the technology companies seem to resign or get laid-off at a much larger percentage than others? Well I guess you do this when you are young and have no mortage and kids to take care of. Maybe that is why so few people these days marry and have children.
Good luck in paying your bills. Young kids have people lying to them. Why they didn’t quit. I have people tell me that they will quit so you can follow. I didn’t listen to them. I’m glad I don’t follow people.

Thank you so much Vanessa! Once I got over the hump of all of the newness the new lifestyle became the norm.
Congrats on starting a new chapter in your life!

I put in my 2 weeks notices but walked out the 1st day on the 2 weeks notice😊

Glad she found the next step for herself 🙂
Neat location, right across the street from the bus terminal. I grew up in the city before joining the Navy.
Good luck on new journey ❤❤
Thank you Rosa!
Quitting is a rush. ❤
Perhaps, she wants to have work & life balance which I don’t think she got while working with M
You’re an amazing and attractive person with a bright future.
Can't believe you have to reset your own laptop and then post it back!
Good luck in your future endeavors. What do you plan to do?
Thank you--I will be modeling and continuing to build out this UA-cam Channel.
@@karllyfeng Awesome! I wish you success.
Only on this rock for 70-80 years. Dont spend it all in one place. What a waste that would be.
Well, now you have tech experience under a very prestigious company.

Where to next?
Hope your next journey is better than current one.
Thank you Mod!
Remember never quit job without a new job offer lining up.
I wish best of luck in your new endeavors. Is coding still the must have skill to learn? Best regards
I think it’s a valuable skill that taught me how to think systematically. It’s a helpful skill, but don’t know if I would consider it a “must-have.”
Thank you for cool videos ! Did you initially have a plan to work there 10 years to collect retirement money ?
I do need a software engineer to help me. Wonder how could I contact you?
Is it new York City?
Microhard not Microsoft.
I laughed at 4:58. The coworker behind you is working on some serious stuff
Cat pics ftw
y can teach me, I open zero to hero
Enjoy life.
Microsoft welcome YOU silicon Valley ,Ca
How much did you save to feel comfortable to quit
I saved roughly a year and a half to 2 years of my monthly expenses
Your background makes you have a lot of leverage of quitting
What did you major in to get that job?
I studied Computer Science in undergrad.

It would have been funny if your laptop was MacBook Pro! 😅
I used one a long time ago at Microsoft.
The joy in her eyes 😂
Major joy 😭

but yet here you are, telling people what they should do.
🤍
I dont know what to do...there are no engineering or tech jobs. Im sorry baby.
