Thank you if you got to the end of this video and listened to my little rant but i feel it was important to share this journey - Lets make more meaningful work!
Love the outcome of this video 😍 I always find I go back to drawing when I want to do something creative and as soon as I start thinking of posting it online/creating it as a listing on Etsy etc, my creativity completely drys up! Difficult to find the balance for sure.
Man, I TOTALLY get that! I pushed HARD earlier this year, and heck, over the last 3 years... I've published 3 videos a week for over 3 years now, with a brief slow-down this past summer. But some weeks, I put a video a day for 7 or 8 days... that was nuts. And all long-form content! It really saps your energy for it - and anything else. Then I started a second channel, and now I'm back up to 4 videos combined per week. But, I record when I can, edit when I can, and schedule them for the next available day. If I run out of footage or ideas, I'll take another break. It's not worth killing yourself or your creativity over. What a splendid video on avoiding burnout. Thanks.
I think you’re right, Jay. I personally don’t watch a lot of short-form content because I don’t get much value from it. It’s why I find myself spending less than less time on Instagram and more time on UA-cam long-term content. Cheers!
I got a lot from this video, but maybe the most important thing was getting to see your cute dog haha. Way back in the day I tried a 30 days posting to Instagram challenge, and tried to script posts in advance, but I ultimately failed. It felt too forced and like I was ruled by a posting schedule and not creativity.

I find it all short form content just rots my brain after while however good it is and that’s not mentioning making it
