Couldn’t see the block you were telling us was pretty - at beginning - would be good to have it held up so project was fully visible. Thx
You can see the runner at 12:22-12:37
You do but it’s so much better to see what you are making from the beginning.
Qa
She may have thought they were doing an overhead view of it, but I thought the same thing.
I was saying the same thing. I had to FF to the end to see what the runner looked like.
Hey Misty, would you please show the finished item early in the tutorial or put the model on the wall behind you? This table runner was partially visible at the very beginning…but too fast for me to decide whether I would follow the entire video.
Thanks for your careful, pleasant tutorials.
Now that's not only pretty but easy to create. Thanks for explaining and showing, Misty! I can handle this one.😊
Thanks Misty! So cute!
Nice job Misty. We appreciate your hard work
Love this pattern, and the fabric is so pretty. Thank you for the video.
So beautiful ! Thank you !
I got confused when you did flying geese is one set made of the lighter colour and another set made with I light and dark blue. I got lost but I love the runner. Maybe should have a redo
❤👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽thank you Misty
The colors and pattern are beautiful. I can see making this double (for the width) with those colors to put on my old wooden trunk. Thanks again Misty for another tutorial, you do an amazing job of explaining things.
Very pretty table runner. I love flying geese and how easy this goes together.
Thank you for sharing the pretty runner.
I'm about to start one of these for my sister in law. Beautiful runner!
That is a beautiful runner. Well done 😊
I have that charm pack and was looking for a runner pattern for it, this is perfect 💙

Very pretty colors and the block looks easy! You are a joy to watch. Thx
I have a Christmas charm pack that will be perfect
This is so pretty Misty. I hope I have time to make this for a friend who is letting us camp on their property on our next trip. I think I can precut my fabric soon after I go through my MSQC starch. 🌸💞🌸
Oooh...love this table runner, I can see it in fall colors!
Such a pretty block. I’m always looking for good runner patterns. 😊
Beautiful and easy, thank you.
Nice table runner. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks Misty! 👍👍
Cute, easy Christmas gift.😊
Thank you for sharing this tutorial i love tle block VIOLETA COSTA RICA💝💝💝💝
Very pretty
Great looking runner
Thank you for this well documented tutorial. I have an ABI and am to afraid to try a pattern but after listening to you, I think that I will give it a go (even with the same fabrics)
I really, like runners but I’ve been thinking of how,to use one in another place besides a table. So - I looked at the inside if my front door and thought that would be a very good place!! Our front door is metal so I have a magnetic curtain hanger in the inside - just adding a sleeve to one end and maybe just shortening it up a bit and it would be beautiful on my front door (inside). Or using those ring clips instead of a s sleeve - hmmmmm!!,
I'm planning to make one for my digital piano, so if you have one of those, you can do that - or maybe a small one for a bookcase or something.
❤❤❤
I’d love to see a scrappy version of this block.
Looks like in addition to the light square in the center there are 2 different “darks” (4 squares from one charm and 4 squares from a different charm) plus 4 squares from 2 matching medium charms for a total of 8 medium squares. When the cutting was demonstrated all 8 squares of the dark were cut from 2 matching charms squares. Sorry is that’s as clear as mud but can you clarify?
The charm pack (40- 5 " squares) contained a variety of lights and darks in various prints. What is the problem?
I was confused too. The darkest square wasn’t mention. 1-light, 2-medium and 2-dark, yet in the block there is an even darker, maybe solid blue.
Can you use 2 1/2 inch strips cut to size instead of cutting down your 5 inch square? You could use leftover strips.
Yes, Kathi u can use your 2-1/2” strips since the flying geese are made from 2.5X4.5 rectangles and 2-1/2” squares. You can get both these measurements from a jelly roll strips. 😊
I was thinking the same.using jelly roll strips😊🇦🇺
I agree with Lorraine. The middle square has too many seams to match. Just make a square in a square. All the rest are flying geese. “Seems” easier to me.
Thank you Mistie. That was a beautiful table runner. I also love the quilt in the background. Can you tell me what pattern was used for that quilt?
That is our Wanderlust quilt pattern! You can find it on our website here: www.missouriquiltco.com/search?view=shop&q=wanderlust
Thank you
Great tutorial. I'll give it a try. Is there a tutorial about the pattern for the mini quilt behind you also?
Do you put fusible fleece in the middle?
I missed the part for the background flying geese. It's one medium snowball and one dark for one geese.?
Misty, please explain why you had to trim the waste. Couldn’t you cut the charm pack square as is?
👍👏🥰🌸🇦🇺
I always enjoy your tutorials, but Please raise the lighting in the studio area. It too dark to demonstrate sewing intstructions.
Can't see the block!
Beautiful runner. Tried putting it together but you used a different medium block in the center and added a different dark. Is confusing but gorgeous.
What is the finished size of the block?
It is probably 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 before combining with the other blocks 8” finished.
Please check volume.... at the beginning, volume was low. At one minute it increased, but still difficult to hear. You do such a good job and the pattern is most interesting!
Where do you get the pattern?
You can get the pattern here: www.missouriquiltco.com/search?view=shop&q=friendship+chain
Componants?
Why type of sewing machine are you sewing with here?
Misty is showing on a Babylock Accomplish!
Thank u!
Sound needs to be turned up. I only have trouble with the video you do.
I love love love you guys but that is way to many seems. One square in a square and some flying geese and your done.
Try to hold the project up so that we see it first. When it is lying on the table we can’t see it. Thx!
The darks at the end looked different from what you chose in the beginning. It confused me on the video
Please hold the runners up so we can see it, OR place it on the wall. Even better! 😂
Can't see the block
It would be nice to SEE the thing you are sewing!
Wanted to see the whole table runner before you started, but couldn’t.
Why wouldn’t you make all flying geese?
Eliminate seams in center of block.
Your helper is annnoying he interupts constantly, I realize he reads the questions to you from the viewers. Sometimes he seems to be telling you his opinions on what you do and I do not enjoy watching that or hearing it. I know on the Valentine Placemats he was exasperating for me but it could be just me too
You do very well explaining your tutorials. I love your tutorials. Thank you
