  • I tried out the new ‪@yodersmokers‬ oven insert in my YS640s pellet grill. Pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza, fig and goat cheese pizza, margarita pizza. Pellet grill, pizza oven, yoder smoker.

    Pop those bubbles as soon as they form,make a long sharp poker to reach in without pulling the pie out of the oven

    Quick tip - next time put the prosciutto on after the pizza comes out. It’s not meant to be cooked.

      Completely disagree with you! Prosciutto in the oven is getting crisp and delicious. Many places in Italy cook it this way!

    at the end of your video it looks like the stone is cracked?...if so how did that happen

      No not cracked just dirty because I am terrible at getting it off the peel and into the oven.

      Not really. I thought the same thing when I first got it, but it’s not bad.

      I have made my own in the past, all things bbq UA-cam channel has a great recipe. For this cook I used premade dough from Trader Joe’s. It is 1.70 per dough ball and honestly it is pretty good. If you don’t have the time or patience to make your own give it a try.

    Disappointed with the results. The cooked pizzas look almost like the heat is mostly from below and not enough rolling over the top.

    Terrible pizza oven. If anyone wants a legit pizza oven do not waste your money on this. Ooni and Rocboxx are far more superior for only 20% of the price.

      I have an Ooni pellet fired pizza oven and the Yoder performs better no comparison. Haven’t tried one of their gas ovens or a rocboxx.
