    does the Yoder have a pellet change out chute? also does the bottom most tray slide out or do you lift it out? great video!!!!

    • @JusPiddlinBBQ
      @JusPiddlinBBQ  Рік тому +1

      Great questions. It doesn't have a pellet chute, but I've never used a pellet chute even with pellet grills that had them. The grill grates are in 4 equal pieces so it's really easy to remove them and clean them. I believe there is a solid grate available as well.

  • @gosman949

    I notice there is an insert for the grease bucket to sit in. Does this help with the grease not falling on your concrete? i have a redwood deck and would worry about grease spilling onto the deck.

    • @JusPiddlinBBQ
      @JusPiddlinBBQ  Рік тому +1

      Great question.....I haven't even thought of that because I haven't had any issues. There are no leaks, but I have dumped the grease can once already, and when I had the can removed a couple drops did come out of the drain. It did not fall on my deck however, because there is a ledge under where the can normally is that caught them. Pretty good design.

  • @mikemcmahon67
    @mikemcmahon67 Рік тому +2

    There’s only one thing that gives me pause in the Yoder: pellet capacity. I’m coming from a GMG Daniel Boone with an 18# capacity and there have been a few times when I’ve been awakened by a pellet alarm during an overnight cook. It seems like the build of the Yoder would reduce the pellet burn rate, with the possible exception of during the winter when the outside temp would cause the whole unit to be cold as ice. Thoughts?

    • @JusPiddlinBBQ
      @JusPiddlinBBQ  Рік тому

      I don't see that being a problem at all...however I have rarely had that problem with 15+ pellet grills, and when I have, it has been my fault.....pellet grills from 8 lb hoppers to 40 lb hoppers

    I will honestly admit sir i wanted a Yoder pellet grill over my old American made traeger I bought over 20 years ago And mine still bbq s just fine 🍖 when they still built them in usa 🇺🇸 in Oregon . Im sure you realize sir ,if wasn’t for joe traeger who started and designed the very 1st pellet grill ever ,there would NOT be a yoder pellet grill right now or any of the other brands ,that a fact and you know what i say is true. Yoder grills were originally all stickburner not pellet grills .Everybody copied traeger and just made it much better .
