    Even with the many bad reviews I've read I Bought a Ender 3 Max Neo as my 5th printer. My first printer was a original Ender 3 with a fiberglass build tack sheet, My first store bought upgrade was the glass bed upgrade then all metal extruder, mainboard and touch screen upgrade with quiet steppers and finally a all metal hot end. but I also own a Flsun QQ-s and a Geeetech A20M dual color printer and a Creliry CR-10 Mini. but so far I like the Ender 3 Max Neo the best, All of the upgrades i did to my 1st Ender 3 were already done except the touch screen and I really don't miss that one plus it is much larger . I did spend a lot more time during assembly than most, like using a square to make sure that the gantry was at 90 degrees and all of the rollers and belts were adjusted properly. But again I did that with all of my printers except the Flsun QQ-s since it is a delta printer.

    It's not printing when he measures the noise, so it's just the sound from the fan not the printer 😂

      Yeah but that novelty app can totally read accurate DB levels... no need to understand the logarithmic nature of DB levels or how sound is measured

    While just the bed, you should review before making your mod.

    Nice review, whats the total depth from the front belt knob to the back when bed is all the way to the back?

    I like glass better pie sheets are over rated in my opinion I used one for a long time. Prints don’t stick to them as good as the glass bed in my experience and they can get dents or dimples from scraping the extra filament after you take the print off if you aren’t careful

      @@roddsmith8954 very good printer bun not really for beginners and if you think it is very noisy, then you do not know what loud printer sounds like. most people don't like the glass bed but I prefer them, you just need to know how to use one. the magnetic build tack is not good when you need high heat on the bed like for ABS filament. The High temp ruins the magnetic base, It looses its magnetism after a while.

    Should I got with this printer or the kobra max? Or Vyper?

      Iam sending the Kobra back. Because z axis adjustments is only .005 instead of .001 increments with creality

    The OS looks like it came from the Ender 3 v2, heck even the interface is the same.

      Because Creality does indeed like to copy their own homework instead of actually spending money on research and development. The cherry on top ist that the "ender 3 max neo" is just making up for the big flop that the ender max was and creality acts like they've once saved the entire 3D printing community singlehanded.

    4mm print nozzle is 10x industry standard. this must be great for larger prints lol jk 0.6mm needs to be the standard in 2022

    • @DavidStanton
      @DavidStanton 2 роки тому

      I think it is actually a 0.4 mm nozzle.

    No standard size SD (thought we were moving forward after the S1's, it'll be 2030 when you see a USB). No PEI out of the box. Bigger build volume (there's already established ones with less cost cutting). Ender 2 Pro shroud (huh?). I can forgive all that if it had at least the standard Sprite extruder, but in a universe where the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon doesn't exist yeah this is decent. Car companies can learn something from these guys with the amount of the same model in the line is astounding! for what reason, who knows??

      The best part is that your can upgrade the standard ender 3 max to this spec (Dual z, CR touch auto leveling, toolless belt tensioning, "better" display, and a tool drawer) for cheaper and keep an arguably better hotend fan system (dual fans) or use the savings to get an all metal hotend and enjoy printing more materials.

      @@Mark_B544 your 3d printers performance comes from it's components and the software/firmware that controls those components, apart from the mentioned previously, these two apear to be the same, they have the same stepper motors, and same underlying firmware and drivers that control those motors. So apart from losing a part cooling fan on this model they will print the same. But yes it's me making myself feel better by potentially giving advice to those that maybe want to spend a few hours with their hands to save a few bucks
