      You have a news bias, because you can see only the outrageous examples, which are the most popular. So you don't actually know what "usually" is.

    • @ZieSpiralOut
      @ZieSpiralOut 2 роки тому +10

      @@Monstrick1 fair point, but I live in fairly dangerous city and so my observations are also based on local information and what I think of how police handle someone threatening someone else. Another example is how the police handle restraining orders and angry ex spouses. A restraining order does very little besides piss off the person they are scared of. It exposes the abuser without protecting the abused.
      So yes maybe the cops have saved some people I’m not aware of and prevented crimes I never knew about. But from where I’m standing, I see a lot of scared people who don’t have the support they need. You know why so many people stay in abusive marriages? It’s not even about their own safety. It’s the fact that there’s a chance, if you have children together, of the abuser still being allowed joint custody if you can’t prove the abuse. So these terrified parents stay there so they can watch out for their kids.
      So, to me, no, not nearly enough is done to protect people from those types of situations. So, maybe there are other instances I’m unaware of, but clearly they are not doing a good job there for the most part.

      I am a cannabis farmer and I also run a cannabis dispensary here in California. There's nothing wrong with cannabis, in fact it is both beneficial and therapeutic BUT the story about the "spiked" food at the wedding bothers me because if you are not a regular consumer of cannabis and you eat some it can REALLY mess you up. It's an awful thing to do to a person without their knowledge. I'm really angry at the women who did this to those unsuspecting wedding guests. It's incidents like this that puts cannabis in a bad light and takes us back a step or two. The cannabis community/industry has worked so very hard to teach the public that it is NOT this evil harmful drug that the govt led us all to believe. The govt has admitted their fear campaign against cannabis was all based on LIES and you can thank H. Anslinger for that campaign!! Also, science has emphatically proven that cannabis is an excellent medical treatment that can treat everything from pain to cancer and MANY MANY things in between!
      As for the case with the infants ingesting cannabis infused crackers . . . I don't feel I need to comment on that. It's nothing short of despicable and the child care lady should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!!! Absolutely atrocious!!! LOCK HER UP AND TAKE AWAY HER LICENSE TO OPERATE A CHILD CARE FACILITY!!!

    • @john-brady
      @john-brady 2 роки тому +17

      @@kenkaniff8428 yes indeed, it’s been a long uphill haul against the Anslinger curse and it’s misperceptions - but poisoning unsuspecting folks with excessive (or any) amount of cannabis without their knowledge is I’m afraid, in view, criminal, and it can hurt the progress we’ve thus far made for marijuana decriminalization … let’s not get all stupid about this people!

I had an ex boss that would refer to my eldest daughter as "her baby" and went as far as saying she would drive by my house and take her in the middle of the night. She would then chuckle all creepy. My baby also had (and still has) blond hair and blue eyes. I ended up getting the hell out of there.

    Our maintenance man was really nice to us and I was pregnant with our first child one day after the child was born he seen us and would see us constantly around our apartment complex and one day he did make a suggestion that we give him our child because we could have another one and one time he actually attempted to take the kid to his house and give him a car when I was pregnant with our second child like eight and a half months pregnant and he ran with my for your old child so quick it was hard to keep up with him we had to let the office know what he did eventually I believe he got fired but nevertheless when someone is offering to take your child or want your child to take them seriously call the correct authorities get everyone involved it's not funny and neither not jokes that you have with parents

    I'm late but the "(inaudible)" line in the third story is "time's dilating". Time dilation is a psychological effect that refers to the feeling that time is moving faster or slower (usually slower) than it really is.

    Wow! The wedding one was disgusting. I'm one of those people who won't touch the stuff because of how my body reacted to weed in the past. What she did was reckless and inconsiderate. I hope she and the caterer get punished. Her face in her mugshot 🤮

    Love these combination videos, you're right, there's not really enough for whole videos but it's really bizarre and interesting cases, I haven't watched this one yet but am sure you have done a great job like your other, similar ones. Best channel I have found in ages! I'm not anti drugs and feel that people should be allowed to do what they want as long as it doesn't impact negatively on ANYONE else. The thought of someone taking it upon themselves to spike everyone at a wedding is terrible. As I said, I am partial to the odd substance myself, but, only on my terms and I think doing this to others should carry a stiff jail sentence!

    Case #5: Judging from the look of him, NO WAY was he ever going to give up that Chicken Alfredo. He already had an excuse planned out in his mind on why he couldn't say goodbye to that dinner!

    As someone who is sensitive to smells and had been around boys when it was first sold almost two decades ago, I can attest that Axe Body Spray is indeed a deadly weapon.

      Damn teenage boys take a shower with that stuff😂 it's awful. I raised 3 boys and they were ALL teenagers at the same time. It was the worst 5 years living in that house during that period!!🤢

    I remember reading about the lady lacing the food with Pot.
    As someone who has their Medical MaryJ Card: I am completely for legalizing MaryJ.
    I however do NOT approve of people being forced to eat or consume MaryJ against their will. It's just like giving someone the Date Rape Drug and saying "You're welcome".

      I agree! NOT COOL!!!
