Honestly I would have loved to elaborate more but that's all the information out there. If I had to assume, I'd say it's because he was in her car without permission and refused to leave. Being that it was her property, that's all that makes sense.

I don't think she was actually assaulting him, just wouldn't stop nagging at him about wanting to have sex. He was arrested because the car and property were both hers- if it had been his car he could have sat there as long as he wanted, though they may still have tried to get him to leave it because you can die from sitting in a hot car and they can't simply leave you in a situation where death it pretty much certain. However, I don't know why he wouldn't just agree to leave after police showed up and said he couldn't sit there because it was her car and therefore trespassing. Hell, there's a ton of public places he could go to get away from her that would be cooler, whether at a park sitting in some shade or even in some shopping mall in the air conditioning, if one is nearby.

Fr. I'm trying to figure that out too. My guess is the police took the threats seriously? So they thought he'd actually hurt her maybe? Or the injury was caused by the girlfriend, so they they thought he did try to hurt her back.
The girlfriend sounds like a bad match for him if he's really locking himself in her car just to avoid doing it with her. Having been in a relationship with a guy who was obsessed with doing that was mentally draining and I had to get away from him after a week or two of dating him.

I can't understand people who seem to love violence so much - great father too, dragging/using his son as his extra intimidation and gifting him prison time all in one. A parent's love really is special... Something tells me that someone who's first instinct is to act like this would be a nightmare to live with 🤦🏻‍♀️
(After hearing the cell shut behind me, I'd gladly give up just about any possession to get out!)

I once had neighbours from Uttar Pradesh and the man used to beat his wife and small daughters all the time and mercilessly. When his parents came from India to visit then they also beat his poor wife. The husband and his parents would gang up on the wife and beat her up and the verbal abuse was terrible. The neighbors reported him often and he would be locked up for the night but bailed the next day. The police urged his wife to leave him but she refused and said she would never leave him....its just not done in that culture. I lived in Hindu communities for 5 years and found it was common for the husband and inlaws to bash the poor wives and there was a high suicide rate because there was no escape for the abused wives amd nowhere for them to go. They were very backward people and behaved worse than wild beasts.

That first story needs to be addressed, Christian sounds like a young man desperate to avoid the sexual demands of an abusive girlfriend. Naturally he gets charged with actual 'Domestic Violence' when the girlfriend merely Claims he "threatened " to hit her.
This is disgusting and I seriously resent the host's almost smirking demeanor throughout the reading.
