Today we look back at Mara sovs interaction/vision from the Witness! It started around Witch Queen, we got an update in Lightfall and now can put it all together: Mara’s position in the battle for our universe. Despite many setbacks, she remains at our side till the end
@@darkvex7974yes it would be I have always said they can be turned just have to see it through and if anyone can be turned it’s rulk. If he comes back somehow in final shape by a long shot turning him could cause the witness to go into full rage mode causing him to become flawed would be perfect ending .
Am i the Only one who wants a Great Plot Twist in destiny story? Like Mara sov being A disciple from the begining or smt.... Isnt it boring we already know every villain and heros in the game!?
So the voice that was referenced that spoke to us in the Black Garden during the Shadowkeep cutscene leading to us going into the Garden of Salvation wasnt the Witness.. Just when you thought we were catching up lol
Mara Sov is my favorite character in D2, and to see that she's capable of fighting off temptation from a power so great, is a testament to her extraordinary resolve and power!
It’s going to be crazy if they reveal that the awoken got into that pocket dimension because the witness wanted to combine light and dark into one race.
I think The Witness also tried to communicate with her after Crow entered the portal. I swear I heard that signature subtle music sting while she was trying to reach Crow! Or maybe she was also sensing The Witness’s overwhelming presence inside of the portal. Can’t wait to find out!
Isnt it that the awoken are forbidden to speak about things they know? I was thinking thats why she paused in that cutscene at least thats what explained it to me
If you listen to what the worm says Savathune deceived the witness for the traveler, maybe thats why the traveler resurrected her with a ghost..to save her in return.
I think our ghost has always been a mole for the witness but unknowingly, since the witness already been living side by side with the traveler and it’s teaching for so long before their race did that ritual to all be one. I feel like the witness can tap into them but not actual traveler since it’s a strong signal of power that it possesses but our ghost only a fraction so he can still tap into them when he needs to. That’s why he was able to contact her right then and their when she was lowkey about to say he failed and that’s why our ghost just stays looking at her when we turn and look at our ghost like what just happened with her side look
I think this proves that the witness disciples like rulk and others can be turned and be seen to see good. Rulk I heard was never informed of the final shape and the question I pose is why is someone like the rulk most loyal with him not informed of the final shape?? I think this poses the question of can rulk and others be turned to see good? Makes you wonder 🤔
Important to keep in mind. "The awoken exist as a balance between light and dark. When there's too much darkness in the universe, the light must rise up to push it back but when there's too much light, darkness must arise to snuff it out." - Mara Sov. The Sol system has been a bastion of light for a long time, the darkness has now arrived to challenge it. What if the Queen is playing both sides against each other and will then support the underdog in an attempt to stalemate the fight. Bonkers idea, hear me out lol. As we continue our fight against the witness, the light is winning, we're pushing the dark back. The queen of the reef puts out a call to all her awoken in the system to abandon the city and bring balance to this war in a style similar season of the drifter where we had to choose who to support, the drifter or the vanguard. This introduces a new PvPvE game mode where guardians are fighting the forces of the witness and awoken player characters have the choice to either kill the taken, scorn, wrathborn etc or kill the guardians on the opposing side. It would be pandemonium, sheer insanity!
I don’t trust Mara at all. I think she will probably try to fill the power vacuum the Witness leaves behind. Also I have a feeling that she isn’t really Mara.
Who could she be then? If anyone would know, it would've been Crow and Riven. Crow feels her heartbeat and Riven maybe not have left her eggs in fake Mara's care. I don't know about the power vacuum but she did say she tried to control a Taken thrall this season. All you need is a strong will so she could do that.
@@manuelb5466I wouldn’t be surprised if she is still an Ahamkara, Crow has been fooled before and Riven would leave her eggs in the care of another Ahamkara…. Or Mara uses her power to control all the hatchlings via a wish and then becomes a tyrant. There are a few possibilities.
@@PubRunnernow how would she be an ahamkara? They thrive and live off granting wishes lol. Mara is the Awoken Queen. A powerful person even as a human, she just has always had a strong sense about herself. I get not trusting her. But remember the reason she left her world was to help save sol
If only destiny allowed us to side with the witness and we could have battles and different pvp and events focused on light vs dark. Shame the management like justin truman dont allow fun things. Monitization only.
Mara is someone that annoys me as a character. Her back story doesn’t sit right with me. As a human she was little more than a maintenance worker on whatever Exodus ship she was on abandoning earth with a bunch of people that didn’t want to be influenced by the Traveller and its magic. War pops off, then she magics herself and her brother into royalty and everyone just rolls with it. They were not a monarchy before hand.
I mean you could argue that about our guardian. We were probably just some random person at the Cosmodrone, and now we're slayer of gods and make our own fate. Paracausality is some strong stuff.
I agree, I don’t know why she was so edgy before the collapse, but I understand how she exists currently in game because she spent millions of years in the distributary.
@@Mental_Warlock Not much to be honest but when I have played I never realized there was a story. I was busy buying the game I already bought like 6 times. Fun game to play though for sure.

How can anyone pass up this comment and not know this is literally the best comment on the page.
Witness was like “Hey wanna join my party? We’re chill. Just gonna wipe out everything in the universe :3”

Well i think, the witness is not just one being. Either that or that huge head has all these other entities that speak
@kirittv the witness is an amalgamation of its entire race. Mass genocide of the race and the Witness is what came of that genocide
@@kirittvI still think that is the witness who spoke to us
This also kinda proves how powerful Mara Sov actually is that she couldn't be controlled by The Witness

What you mean by that?
the common awoken maybe, but the queen can say whatever she wants, there's no higher power forcing her to keep quiet, she's just naturally secretive
