Things you’ll need:
- a phone and a notes app
- excel or a notepad
- a calculator
Steps
1. Keep a list of your upcoming expenses, wants and savings in your notes
2. Use this list to calculate how much you’ll need out of your individual paychecks on excel or in a notebook
3. Keep track of money you spend in a category (ex. Trip money) on your notes app
4. Compare your notes app to your bank app from time to time to ensure accuracy
If you follow me, you’ve probably noticed I am in school full time yet I travel a few times a year and I maintain things I want, such as new hair or nails. This is only achieved through budgeting. Make sure your bills never go overdue with my method of money management.
