    Thank you for the video. I was born and raised in EP and used this road many times. And since I live in Oregon, I rarely get to EP anymore.

      Truly agree with you;
      American friend just told me that I won't need to see NZ when USA already has everything here. 🕊️✌️

      The USA has a ton to offer for sure. We’d still love to see NZ someday too if course!

    Beautiful driving tour. 👍
    I only saw Denver and Aspen via Amtrak ride in July 1993, no time for sightseeing.
    The highlight of Denver's train station was "Ice House" which was interesting to see and to present day, I still don't know what it was used for. 🤔

      Bet the Amtrak route was pretty neat, been wanting to try some of the routes from Chicago to LA or San Francisco sometime.

      Yes, Amtrak ride is different from car driving especially for certain high views from a route that runs horizontally on sloping parts of mountains where car cannot access.
      Timewise, a one-hour by airplane equals to one-day by train ride. Furthermore, a filming technique for train ride could be more challenging than a camera model for car driving.
      In 1993, my train ride was from WDC's Union Station to Chicago on westward to San Francisco. After a few day of rest in SF, I boarded Amtrak for Portland, OR. On my return, my train ride passed through northern states back to Chicago and ended in WDC. Although my train ride was a good chance to see many US states, it was very tiresome on both ways.
      Each night of my train journey was long as coach seating cars got lights dimmed by 8:00 PM and it was a long time to see next day's sunlight.
      The past Amtrak trip was a good experience to cross The USA for breathtaking sceneries but I cannot repeat it again at my aging present.

      We’d like to do a trip sometime and see how it is. The “Jeb Brooks” channel on UA-cam has really great videos of the different routes from Chicago out west to California on the Amtrak, definitely worth checking out.
