Loved your video! Have been to Colorado so many times and even lived Colorado Springs for a year. Your video makes me want to return for another trip. I love that your daughter is getting to experience all of this with her wonderful parents❤
So happy I found your channel. We are actually thinking how to travel to Colorado from Chicago having little daughter with us. But we probably would rather fly over there
What a fun video. We honeymooned in Estes in 1975 and have been there every year since. It was fun to see the sights through new eyes, especially those of your sweet family. Your video was really well done. Quality was excellent. Thanks for sharing.
Thx for the video. Awesome park. Made a road trip in June through Rocky Mountain states with my son and also visited Rocky Mt NP from Estes Park. It was impressive and beautiful. Greetings from Germany!

hi guys, do you have to pay for 2 tickets, one for your vehicle, and another one for each one to walk on the emerald road, or includes in the car ticket? and we can do walk and visit alpine visitor center in the same day with the same ticket?
You will need 2 tickets or passes. The regular park pass which you can buy when you drive in to the park. You will also need a timed entry pass which you should but ahead of time. They usually sell them a month or so ahead of time and then more 1 day ahead of time. You will need to get the bear road corridor pass to be able to do the Emerald lake trail. These pass are only $2
Great video ❤ I had a question regarding parking. I am also planning to go in 4th of July weekend. What time would you recommend to reach by to get a parking. I wanna go in morning time and I heard the lots get full really quickly.
Thanks! For the Bear Lake parking lot where a lot of hikes start from, earlier the better. We were lucky and found 1 spot left around 11am. There are always people leaving, but I would not suggest going at that time. I would say go before 8am. You also need an entry pass. I would suggest logging in right when they go on sale for the next day and buy it immediately. That what we did.
Thanks! Yes we are using a GoPro 10 with a stick. The GoPro has really good stabilization. I’ll use a Sony a6400 sometimes, but the GoPro is so convenient and easy.
@crystalryanparadise thank you for replying! I have a GP 10 as well. My 1st trip to RMNP is coming end of September. I'm super excited! Do you use the media mod kit to help with the wind on your sound?
@@Julia-365 Ii’m not using any extra stuff with the GoPro. I’m sure it would help. I clean I the audio in post. Final Cut Pro has this voice isolation that works like magic
@crystalryanparadise Ah got it! I'm confused about the permitting of taking videos while in the park. What have you found? Can I post on my YT channnel?
Yes. That is the A6400. I have a few lenses for it. If I’m hiking where there is a lot of scenery. I’ll just use the kit lens 18-135, which is versatile.
Not in Rocky Mountain National Park. I don’t think there are as many bears there compared to Yellowstone or Glacier National Park., which we have seen bears at.
@crystalryanparadise I am planning a trip and came across your page. I want to see Bear Lake and Dream Lake so bad! I guess I had a little anxiety about bears lol. Thank you for easing that for me! Your video was super informative!
Hi please always provide the entire information you need to mention you need a timed entry pass and +Bear Lake Road reservation when you talk about Bear Lake or else you have to wait till 6 pm to get into Bear Lake Road which is the main attraction here. Also to mention the park rangers don't allow you to get in if you arrive 10 minutes before your timed entry and make you go back to join a huge line of cars and you get late by 40 minutes. Please do not make this mistake.
Rocky Mountains National Park looks so beautiful!

I know dogs aren’t allowed on trails but do you know if they can come out on the lookout spots along trail ridge road?
They can come to the lookout spots. I believe it’s just not the trails. Because we were doing some hike we just had our dog watched.

You are special enough that you shouldn't have to pay market price. Stay in the commie state of texas.
Hello ❤❤❤
I'm going to guess that Ryan is a Sagittarius and Crystal is an Aries.
The way you say Estes is nails on a chalk board.. It's "S, tes" and the tes is like test without the t at the end.
thanks for the clarification
Love Estes Park...but please remember..it is not S Ts Park. It is pronounced Es-tus Park ...
Thanks for letting me know
Estes Park not testes Park lol
Thanks for the clarification.
S tays....S tays....S tays lol. NOT S tees.
