X5 (E70) Electronic Malfunction- All warning lights ON! Fixed!!!!

Turn out BMW's, especially once they age, are not water proof..after-all melting Chicago snow can be dangerous!
If you are seeing electronic malfunction warning with almost every other alarm/warring light, you may have a water leakage and accumulation in the trunk, under the fuse box panel.
But the problem gets interesting if you can't even open your trunk! yes this is what happened to me....you have two options- 1. located the manual trunk release or 2. Work from inside.
Open the fuse box panel on the right side of the rear and remove the storage box (not the batter box). If you see water sitting there with half submerged cables and Trunk control unit..you have found your issue.
The next step is to drain the water (use a pump), dry it and let it slow dry over the next couple of days. Don't rush or you may burn some of the electronics. Give it some time and Air/Sun do the rest.
To get rid of the 4X4 alarm, you need to recalibrate the sensor/computer by simply turning the steering wheel all the way in both directions.
Long term you would like to find the source of leakage and try to stop it. Hope this video helps!
