Hello, Still using the Coralife 65? I have found, after doing some vodka-dosing, that that filter box is a horrible nuisance and will clog up and increase the back pressure in the skimmer, causing the over flows that you mentioned. You can remove that outflow box completely and open the skimmer wide open and it will skim better and not overflow.
Not overkill at all there is a rule about that is to take a filter or skimmer that is rated for about the double of your tank or tank+sump size this is just an adivce
Without senior set up for myself it will be hard to determine why is doing it but if I had to guess is either the elevation of the skimmer might be too high up or too low also make sure your pump is pumping all the water a can inside the skimmer and just mess with the air knob until you get a perfect ratio remember you always have to give it time after you make an adjustment to see the adjustment
@@indio0360 if you have in the aquarium probably the pump is to deep make sure is 2 inches more or less upper level of the water either in aquarium or sump then will be good I had the same problem till I fount the position now is doing Grait

How soon after I set mine up should I start seeing bubbles form ?
Immediately or do I need to be patient

Mailon Fuentes yeah men that’s what I’ve been doing , I saw another post and they said it could be the “Venturi”...you know where that part is at?
