My real hair growth journey: focus on sleep, maintain scalp cleanliness, shampoo less and hydrate more, get regular trims, brush hair daily, and apply liitlllextrra reactivaate serum every day. It includes rosemary and other beneficial ingredients that consistently promote the growth of new baby hairs.
Applying natural oils during scalp massages actually helps in hair fall reduction. Oils such as coconut, onion, and rosemary can be particularly good. I mix a few drops of rosemary oil with my liitleextraaa cocooionn nourishing shampoo and hair oil, and this really worked in getting good hair growth.
I had been using liitllextra for the past two months, coocoonion oil and the reactiivate hair serum have become my favorites. They’ve helped stop my hair fall while promote the growth of new baby hairs.
I gotta say that I've used both diluted rosemary oil (on head skin - better and lusher new hair growth and also my seborrhea got better and less frequent) and (fermented) rice water on hair (shiny shiny soft hair, less breakage and less splits) and they were both amazing. Plus the rosemary smells just divine and that alone is great :)
@@josephinemiller4780 a carrier oil of your preference :) I like warm coconut one just because I LOVE the smell. Also I like warm rosemary "tea"/brew or how to call it in a bowl and soaking my head and hair in it as a last step of washing hair - no rinse afterwards :) you will smell very tasty afterwards :D
@@josephinemiller4780 tbh I eyeball it - like a spoonful of coconut and like.. 5 drops? 10? Not sure 😀 if you get irritated, dilute it more (never happened ro me). I mix it in hand in the shower. You mix it, massage it into your scalp and leave on either for 10 minutes and then wash out (good to do it during a bath), or put a shower cap on and sleep with it :) I keep a jar of coconut oil on the bathtub and use it both for this and (while still wet and before I get out) to moisturize the whole body 😀 i smell like a candy, lol
Many ancient healing methods are misunderstood today because we have lost the knowledge about our energetic bodies, how they function and how to keep them in balance. In many cases, it’s the energetic signature of the botanicals that can be used to rebalance the blocked energy within our own bodies. Allopathic medicine ignorantly dismisses these benefits because their entire model rests on physical biology only (which is completely disregarding all the other advances being made in other areas of science atm). If something has been successfully used by large groups of people for thousands of years, maybe doctors should check their arrogance and make the effort to understand what they quite clearly are uninformed about before writing off.
I'm glad you guys don't always agree on all these studies and ingredients it's always good to hear both sides. Been waiting on a video like this one. Thank you doctors 💗💗
I don't like that fact that this is so opinionated, just tells me there isn't good enough research about the topic to formulate a common scientific consensus. For me, that means no real answer, just that it's all quack.
Thanks for being real about this. I just want to add that studies are usually funded when there's potentially money to be made, so often there aren't studies on 'natural' ingredients because there's no money behind them, not because we know they are not legit. I appreciate the openness to empirical science as well as studies. I agree that when there's thousands of years of testing on real humans behind something it's at least worth considering as legitimate.
Seriously the best dermatologists on UA-cam. They are both incredibly genuine and informative. They are here to teach us and guide us. I’m so grateful for this amazing channel.
.... yes, best for Caucasians. For example they swear by hydroquinone for hyperpigmentation but for POC it does have some significant irritating effects that Caucasians do not experience. Dr. Vannita and Dr. Alexis are great options for POC looking for actives to add to their routine and would like to know how these actives would react on their melanin rich skin
Rosemary, Cedarwood, lavender mixed in with water sprayed onto the scalp every night has been phenomenal for my hair. I had so much hair fall it was insane I thought I was going to be bald forever. I had these big bald spots. I thought it might be a crock of shit but I decided to try it anyways because I mean you know I was already like missing probably a third of my hair, if not more and holy crap it worked, I swear on my life there was nothing else that I did differently and it was insane the amount of people that complemented or commented on my hair. Hands-down the healthiest best hair I’ve ever had that was about four years ago fish and I used the spray for I think 3 to 4 months but I noticed results in about four weeks
Thanks for stepping up and deliver something positive about natural skincare. I always see dermatologists slamming natural skincare just because "oh it doesn't have enough studies to back so it's bad", "oh there hasn't been sufficient testing done to prove the efficacy so it's crap". These natural remedies, just like you mentioned, did stand the test of time and more credits should be given instead of fear-mongering it unnecessarily.
Rosemary has helped me with hair loss. It works. I work in the hair industry and many women/cosmetologist recommend it for natural remedies. Just because there arent several studies doesnt mean there isnt evidence. It just hasnt been recorded by specialist/expert or peer reviewed. Just because its not a high-priority research item.
There will always be the nay sayers because there is no money in it! If the pharmaceutical/cosmetics industry could license it, it would suddenly become a big deal.🙄
I’ve used rosemary oil for 6 months now combined with castor oil every other day. My hair still falls out, but less than before, but I can see the small hairs growing back and I have frizzies again. That is something that stopped when my hair started falling out more. Frizzy hair for me means new hair is growing in. It works!
I would stop using castor oil and focus on diluting rosemary oil. I noticed that with castor oil, it tends to clog the follicles and you’ll experience more hair loss than before, rosemary oil on the other hand you won’t experience clogged follicles.
@@Amara_Op They wanted to say use only rosemary oil. Castor oil is sticky & makes hair tangled. I have experience same with castor oil. Only use rosemary oil for few days you'll see difference dear 😊
I use rosemary oil and peppermint oil in my shampoo and conditioner and it is working for me! Diet is also important, I take high strength omega oil, ginseng, iron and b12 because I don't eat meat. My hair was falling out like crazy because of covid but it has stopped falling out since I've been consistent with my supplements and essential oils.
I use tea tree oil to spot treat pimples. I never apply it 100% to my whole face, but I’ll take a small amount ( 100% concentrated) on a q-tip and apply it only to the pimple. After a few days the pimple dries out and is completely gone. The surrounding skin is perfectly fine. I also heard garlic works well in this fashion.
Thank you for being real doctors. My impression is that when people get involved in the medical field its because they have a passion for it and truely want to help people . But it seems the field has lost its passion and alot of doctors have treated patients more like a number and not human beings .You guys give your field hope that there are great doctors out there who are doing great things you guys are definetly leading the way.
Although there is a lack of scientific evidence behind many "natural" remedies, often there is enough anecdotal evidence for me to at least give something a shot - especially when medically proven treatments have failed me... I've had impressive results with tea tree oil (in a well formulated moisturizer) for fungal acne recently, so I'll keep using it simply because it works for me :)
@@nurzahanakhter1097 it’s The Body Shop Tea Tree Night Lotion. It helps clear it up within a couple of applications and is moisturizing enough to offset any dryness. I’m not typically a fan of their products, but this one is a gem!
I’m one of the dummies who occluded salicylic acid on my face. I bought it in a serum form type deal and put it on a bandaid. Pimple was gone and so was my skin. 🙃
I think recommending to use Rosemary alongside Minoxidil defeats the purpose for a lot of people who don’t want to use minoxidil in the first place, but maybe that’s just me
@@reucat24 I absolutely CANNOT use minoxidil because it gives me horrible headaches and I can feel a drop in blood pressure as well. Crazy part is I only used a couple of drops. Definitely going natural.
I put a few drops of rosemary oil in my hand with my tea tree shampoo and within 2 weeks my hair almost stopped shedding. I had bad dandruff (would clump on my scalp) and now it feels and looks way healthier!
I use this process and I agree it helped encourage growth. After I got Covid my hair would fall out in clumps and I had to cut my hair because how stringy it looked like. Now my new hair is sooooo thick.
I use 1ml rosemary + 0.5ml peppermint + 10ml carrier oil and it works great for my hair loss! Took me 3 months to get my hair back to normal again though so it does require patience. Might not work for everyone but it's worth a try ^^ Edit: The carrier oil I use is equal parts sweet almond oil and castor oil. Sometimes I add 0.5ml lavender or 5 drops cedarwood too depending on what I have at hand :)
@@reucat24 You’re looking for certified organic, food-grade - but it’s not regulated, so buy from a trusted source, whether that means a locally-owned health food store, Whole Foods, or even one of those MLM outfits. Since you’re using a few drops in a carrier oil, the bigger risk is it being too diluted, not too concentrated, so not much risk other than it not working. If you’re sensitive or have allergies, maybe do a test on a small area a few times before applying it to a large area.
@@reucat24 I use local brand called "Darjeeling". But any rosemary oil is fine, I think. Mine isn't even certified organic and my hair is growing just fine 😅
@@maxdennis5883 I use it every time I wash my hair, so 2 times a week (every 3 or 4 days) but most people said once a week is enough. I use a heat cap/towel afterwards for around 30~45 minutes, then I leave it until I stop procrastinating and finally take my shower 😆 Before I bought my heat cap I leave it on for 4~5 hours though. With heat cap you don't have to leave it for so long ^^
Saw those nice comments, so I decided to give it a shot. This lityleextra reactivate serum for hair growth has made a noticeable difference in my hair growth. I love that it is made with natural ingredients, and the results speak for themselves, my hair is stronger and growing.
I feel the same way, I m a big fan of littlextraa cocoonionn shampoo, oil and reactivate hair serum. I use them frequently and they’re working good for my hair fall issues.
Cold pressed coconut oil 04 tsp and cold pressed olive oil 03 tsp with 8 drops of rosemary essential oil. Make a mixture of it and slightly warm it and apply to the scalp and keep it for 2 hours and shampoo it . It really worked for me. My hair grew stronger in 06 months time .
I am a 22 y/o guy who has a receding hairline on my temple area. I've been microneedling and using rosemary oil diluted in coconut oil and seen some decent results for the past two months. It worked for me but I can't say it will work for everyone as i am not an expert. Give it a try anyways and wish you the very best.
@@lancer717 nope. I haven't checked any of it but i switched into a serum which contains redensyl 3% (which will activate the hair follicles on the celular levels). Thank you for the information once again! I used to use diluted tea tree oil on my face and it worked well until I decided to apply it without diluting and got burned. I used to believe more is better, thank god we have you two spreading correct information out there 👏👏
For my personal experience, castor oil did help me fill in my sparse eyebrows and eyelashes after I lost them after radiation treatment on my brain. But it did nothing for my hairline. And still to this day, it helps my eyelashes to be thicker and less sparse. And I've tried a lot of messing around with it to test if it actually worked or was just changes in the hair growth cycle. So I do think it would be worth doing more studies.
Exactly the video I wanted. I suffer from dermatitis on my scalp. Cortisone is an instant relief, but it can't be used continuously. Sooo, I've been trying calendula oil. I'm also drinking propolis to balance my immune system, which is affected by stress. I'm a teacher so stress is a constant in my life.
Please look into and research Ashwaganda and Holy Basil. You can find them in powder, capsule, or tinctures. They help big time with stress and anxiety. They’re adaptogens and are amazing.
I don't knock tea tree oil however I wish people who recommend it along with other essential oils would put a disclaimer about how dangerous it is without diluting. I burned my face many years ago using TTO and still get flashbacks of how bad it was. It worked but left me with more issues to deal with because I used it pure.
@@nikki2370 I wish people stopped recommending it! My eye doctor did and then I got another who said the same and when I pushed back they were shocked.
Ditto I had no clue back like 25 yrs ago or so just heard that tea tree oil was great for breakouts etc. and put it directly on my face. OMG the burning, itching and redness was unbearable had to go to the doctor and get meds and a cream. I have never touched it since. I do have a shampoo right now that has tea tree oil in it but the amt is small and there is argon oil in it also but to just buy tea tree oil on its own nope never did it again and never will.
I used a product before with tea tree oil. It's for pimples. I find it effective to "cure" my pimples overnight. It's amazing. It comes with a strict instructions to just use it on the pimple and not spread on other areas as much as possible.
Oh gosh I sympathize with the girl who cried about her hair falling out 😔 I got major hair loss after having covid (mild symptoms nothing severe) and then straight after going on methotrexate for RA. Falls out in big globs 🥺 I’m gonna start trying natural hair loss remedies cause I’ve lost more then half my hair volume.
Me too!!! I was literally putting in a rosemary hair mask while I put this video on 😂 I’ve done my crying but we need to move forward! I went to sally beauty yesterday and bought Mielle rosemary shampoo, pink brand natural oil blend lush growth oil and a silicone scalp massager. Good luck sis
Here to say that 2 months after having COVID I am having the same issue! My ends feel horrible and everything seems to get knots for absolutely no reason. I took dried rosemary, dried mint leaves, and peppermint oil in a pot and brought to a boil and then set stand until cool and strain... Then put them in a spray bottle. I leave over night and then rinse, it makes my hair super soft and I have baby hairs.
Dr Dray did a video on that, it's called Telogen Effluvium, it's not permanent, 6-9 months and your hair will start growing back, do don't damage your scalp trying too many remedies that are probably full of irritants.
Stacy, I’m very sorry to hear this!! Buttt I wanted to tell you, this same thing happened to me after I had heart surgery in June 2021. I got some Woman’s BOSLEY hair vitamins.. They’re a little expensive BUTTTT TOTALLY WORTH IT! ( I just noticed this video is a year old soo hopefully you found something) 🙏🏼💙🙏🏼
I gotta say Tea Tree Oil works amazing for me. I just tap it on the pimple before bed and it dries it out. In the morning I wash with a cleanser or something like that and I do my skin care as usually.
Hey! for anyone who is doing at-home DIY stuff a hot tip I got from my Naturopathy classes is that if you dry something it loses a lot of the active compounds that it gets claims for. So if you are getting rosemary for hairloss then make the tea out of the fresh stuff (and use warm/hot water not boiling water). If you need to use a dried variation (e.g. tumeric) then I recommend getting the isolate (curcumin) instead so you're not just putting pointless orange powder on your face.
Depends on the compound and extraction type typically though? Drying, as opposed to cold infusing and boiling, steeping, and alcohol extraction all do different component extractions.
@@runaway-wind yes! that's right. And if you're going and getting high quality herb extracts then you won't really need to worry as much. But if you're buying it just from the supermarket or DIYing then you may not have the same results.
Rosemary and caffeine made my hair grow so fast since my last haircut a month ago. Is insane how fast it grew. My head is thick and full now. COVID really thinned out my hair and made it look so trash. Now is as thick as it was during highschool. Also micro needle with a 1.5mm dermapen every week to help grow thicker hair.

I have NEVER forgotten what I learned in my Environmental Science class at college! A tribe who lived deep in the Amazon rain forest would get these horrid rashes & sores on their bodies, even little kids, ouch! There were special magical leaves 🍃 that were effectively used by the women of the tribe as a treatment but it was slow...Big Pharma came in treated the tribe with penicillin, for free, oh how generous & benevolent... 🤢 It worked AMAZING, no more leaves needed! Pharma starts charging (shock 😱), tribe can't pay, Pharma leaves tribe after exploiting their natural resources! 😡 Tribe goes back to using the magical leaves! 🍃 Leaves NO longer work, because the antibiotics had FU their immune system! 😭
LOVE this!! I always get looks from people at Ulta/ Sephora because things that are listed as "natural" ingredients tend to give me rashes/reactions. And people always assume that's just not possible because they are natural!! Ummm so is poison ivy....not rubbing that on my face any time soon.
What ?! 1 mil subs ? This channel grew so fast !! Really cool, they're interesting, entertaining, the videos are well edited and I feel smart watching their videos so this success is well deserved
Rosemary is the only thing that has helped me with excessive shedding and my hair loss. One of the most under rated shampoos and conditioners is the L'Oreal Ever Strong Thickening line. So much better than other more expensive brands and they actually work!
Update: I have been mixing drops of rosemary oil into a drop of castor oil and mixing it with a Q-tip. I put the mixture on my eyebrows and they appear thicker and fuller.
I always get a kick out of tea tree oil "hacks" because whether it's a DIY concoction or a product containing tea tree oil...I've never seen any benefit for either acne or scalp. 🤪 I've re--tried that ingredient waaaaaay too many times to count. Sometimes, it just be like that lol. Wonderful video as always!
I struggle with hair loss, struggle is putting it mildly, the toll it takes on mental health is extreme. I’ve tried the natural and the pharmaceutical, lights, oils, injections….I cannot understand how this is not something we have been able to figure out and why more time isn’t dedicated to it.
Finasteride + minoxidil + microneedling is as effective for hairloss as retinol + niacinamide + vitamin C for skin care. Things like saw palmetto and pumpkin seed pale in comparison.

When it’s warm enough and not hot to the touch, you can use it. I put it on my scalp and the rest of my hair for about 2-3 hours and I used this once a week for a month, just so I can get used to it and then I did it 2-3 times a week afterwards. I am all for natural cures after what we experienced last year. My husband had a terrible underarm yeast infection (both armpits) which he dealt with from May - September. He went to the Dr twice and went thru 4 tubes of prescribed ointment. The ointment dried him out horribly, but as soon as he stopped the ointment, the infection would come back. Someone told me to have him use coconut oil, colloidal silver and tea tree oil. It cleared it up immediately and it never came back. The person who gave me this info says she uses this formula on all kinds of skin issues.
Yes, I use all of those products, they are all antifungal solutions. Colloidal silver also cleared up a stye in my eye in three days. Research colloidal silver, amazing stuff

Totally get Dr. Shah's "why not" approach to the supplements, lol. I started drinking spearmint tea every day because I read it can help women who have pcos with their chin hair. Figured I'd try it out, couldn't hurt as it's just tea, and I feel like it does help somewhat so yay.
Ya you get it? What about the people who don’t? Let’s understand where research is funded and accredited. It’s a double edge sword and these guys are using both edges
Have been drinking it for about 9-10 months now. Started seeing results early on, though. And yeah it helps lessen the severity of my lip/chin hair. It doesn’t grow in as thick, or as much, or as quickly after I tweeze.
My old neighbor from England (who was an 85 yr.old sweet little ol lady) told me years ago that when her son was a little boy he developed a bald spot & she rubbed Olive Oil on the bald spot everyday until his hair grew back 100% …Just saying 🥰 I believe her
haha that look on your face about castor oil XD ...but it works though ! I used a castor oil based serum for lashes and they grew back so quickly I forgot to take pictures, even bald eyelashes spots ended up covered!! So then I tried castor oil mixed with almond oil (because castor oil is very thick) for my hair : simply applied before shower as a leave-in for 5 minutes, then shampoo as usual. Within a few days I saw baby hair growing from my scalp, and I gained back 5 mm on my hairline that had been resceding. I still do it once a month or a bit more when I get more fequent hair loss (often when seasons change), I am happy with my hair now, since I have very thin baby hair the difference showed right away, and I managed to grow my hair really long :)
Ummmmmm lets talk about y’all releasing a real skincare line though- you two are what the skincare world needs! Watching your videos has made my trips to Ulta and the drugstore so much more simple and my skin so much more clear. I feel like a skincare like from you both would be a true industry game changer !
I put a few drops of rosemary essential oil in my shampoo. Smells great and shampoo helps dilute. I bought a carrier oil too but havnt used it that way yet for my scalp.
I seriously love tee tree oil. I had a lot of pimples when I was younger but now I don't have a lot of pimples anymore. Only get one or maybe two very small one's a week. Or a few around when my period starts. So I really don't need creams or serum's, it's a waste of money and time for me that I'd rather spend on cleaning and moisturizing my skin. So whenever I do get a pimple I just pad some tee tree oil on there and usually it's gone by the next day. However when it's BAD, like when I eat a lot of food that's bad for my skin and I'm also close to my period I use masks instead. For small parts of the face it works wonders but it sometimes leaves the skin a bit dry if it's done too much. I think tee tree oil is really just about "how much" and "how many times a day".
Turmeric studies that you mentioned - which turmeric did they use? A friend told me that in Ayurvedic skincare Curcumin aromatica (wild turmeric) should be used, and not culinary used Curcumin longa.

Great video . I have used minoxidil for years along with biotin 10,000 mcg.. last year I suffered a substantial loss of hair and sought out an added hair growth recipe. You docs are amazing. Thank you for this channel! My request for an episode would be on DMSO. I was using a 70/30 solution and it will remove my EAC lesions from my Sjogrens in about a week. (On their own they can last months.) I told my dermatologist (EAC confirmed through biopsy) that I wasn’t worried about treatment for them because I know how to get rid of them with DMSO. She said, “oh yea we use DMSO in dermatology for other things, that’s fine.” What else do you use topical DMSO to treat? Can you go over the best way to use it? The only instructions for DMSO seem to come from woo, or sus sources. My current regimen: Clean with usual soap and water. Use rubbing alcohol to remove anything remaining, let dry. Apply DMSO solution topically. Let set for 20 minutes, careful not to touch anything with/to applied area for approximately 20 minutes. Add moisturizer. *I was initially prescribed DMSO for Sjogrens joint pain by my rheumatologist, while using I noticed it cleared up my EAC. It is consistent in clearing EAC.

CVS regularly third-party tests all the supplements they sell, and they have to match the labels, or they will stop carrying it/not accept it to sell whatsoever if it's a first-time test of a new brand or product. Dr. Shah, the girl that says he he at the end of all her videos that is focused on skin care and is absolutely hilarious, I believe she mentioned using rice water on her hair and face and she swears by it. I have also seen many other girls rave about this as well. What about it would make it so beneficial? And I’ve also heard onion because of the sulfur, so they make a mask from that also. Any benefits? Or do you still choose pharmaceutical-based things first? I’m a nurse and I love using supplements that are natural like rosemary, turmeric, etc..
Rice water has protein which strengthens the hair, adds shine, and can help with skin brightening if applied topically. Tbh I don’t suggest it bc it takes up to 2-4weeks to ferment it properly and it smells really bad. There’s a lot of affordable rice water based skin and hair treatments (typically in Asian beauty) as wells as protein treatments for hair that do a better job for your skin and hair
I just made black rice water tonight for the first time! I can’t wait to try it. I boiled the water with grapefruit peels and that’s supposed to kill the bad smell so we will see 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Also I take MSM internally and I know without a doubt it helps with my hair growth. I’ve seen tons of videos of women who use onion for hair growth and apparently it really does work. I’m not that brave lol. But I love oils and essential oils for hair and I use face oils- they’re AMAZING. I rotate Argan, Jojoba, and rose hip seed, all organic too. My skin is super soft and I use Tretinoin at night and an oil in the morning. I have zero peeling.

Whenever my skin barrier needs help I always go for vaseline/petroleum jelly. It seems to instantly sooth any burning I feel. Cica is also nice in my experience, if your skin is okay with that in whatever condition it's in and the formulation is suitable for damaged skin
I've been using a rosemary & mint oil in my hair the last 2 months or so because I'd been noticing a lot more fall-out lately. It's too early to know whether it will help with regrowth, but I have noticed significantly less fall-out the last month. Maybe it would've slowed down anyways, maybe not. But it's an inexpensive treatment, so I figure it's worth trying. I'll add a little asterisk, in that I also started taking a heme iron supplement at the same time, as I was slightly anemic and that may have contributed to my hair loss.
I did the same thing with the noxzema pads (without the essential oil) and chemically burned my cheek, went to my derm and he told me to stop sandblasting my face 😂
I put tea tree oil on my children's fingers when they got infected hang nails. Does a great job soaking in under the edge of the nail (unlike a topical ointment) and helped clear the infection. Just make sure they're onld enough to understand why they can't touch that finger to their face.
I'd give reactiivatte hair serum 10/10. This is based on the improvement I had received from it.
What do you do to maintain scalp cleanliness if you’re shampooing less?

Great advice I've just had to have my hair cut short due to illness I had lovely long hair so I'm looking to grow it out. What's reactive serum?
What do you dilute it with?

You mix it, massage it into your scalp and leave on either for 10 minutes and then wash out (good to do it during a bath), or put a shower cap on and sleep with it :)

Thanks for stepping up and deliver something positive about natural skincare. I always see dermatologists slamming natural skincare just because "oh it doesn't have enough studies to back so it's bad", "oh there hasn't been sufficient testing done to prove the efficacy so it's crap". These natural remedies, just like you mentioned, did stand the test of time and more credits should be given instead of fear-mongering it unnecessarily.
also pretty small downsides as well which make them almost a easy thing to try

Hey! for anyone who is doing at-home DIY stuff a hot tip I got from my Naturopathy classes is that if you dry something it loses a lot of the active compounds that it gets claims for.

Totally get Dr. Shah's "why not" approach to the supplements, lol. I started drinking spearmint tea every day because I read it can help women who have pcos with their chin hair. Figured I'd try it out, couldn't hurt as it's just tea, and I feel like it does help somewhat so yay.
How long have u been drinking it
Ya you get it? What about the people who don’t? Let’s understand where research is funded and accredited. It’s a double edge sword and these guys are using both edges
Would also like to know how long you have been drinking it ? And has it helped with facial hair ?
Have been drinking it for about 9-10 months now. Started seeing results early on, though.
Have been drinking it for about 9-10 months now. Started seeing results early on, though. And yeah it helps lessen the severity of my lip/chin hair. It doesn’t grow in as thick, or as much, or as quickly after I tweeze.
My old neighbor from England (who was an 85 yr.old sweet little ol lady) told me years ago that when her son was a little boy he developed a bald spot & she rubbed Olive Oil on the bald spot everyday until his hair grew back 100%
…Just saying 🥰 I believe her
haha that look on your face about castor oil XD ...but it works though !
Or, it’s just making your hair frizzy and is just anecdotal evidence.
Before talking about natural remedies for extreme hair loss, a conversation needs to be had about what is causing it, for example PCOS.
They talk about it in other videos. Androgenic Alopecia is caused by PCOS.
We have a whole video called the ultimate guide to hair loss but we should do a video specifically on PCOS! I have a UA-cam short on PCOS
@@Doctorly please do a more in depth video about PCOS, extreme hair growth, dark spots on back of the neck, underarms and dry spots on elbows.
@@Doctorly plz plz plz do a video on PCOS side effects on facial hair and hair loss and how to manage those
@@Doctorly Okay, not having seen those particular videos, I was just surprised that it wasn't mentioned as an FYI in this video. Thank you for the reply ^_^
Not natural as they say, but Biotin is great for hair loss! My eyelashes came back fully after taking it for 3 months as recommended by my dermatologist. I take the sub-lingual ones 2000mcg two times daily. It works!
Great video . I have used minoxidil for years along with biotin 10,000 mcg.. last year I suffered a substantial loss of hair and sought out an added hair growth recipe. I have done 5 PRP treatments with a 30%-40% improvement in thickness and added fine hair on top. I just started green tea with rosemary oil rinse hair treatments and will try that daily .
Rosemary water helped me magically for hair loss. Literally girls I can’t put enough pressure to tell you that it can do wonders with hair loss
How did you apply it?
@@____M___ I don’t know how she did it but I decided I would apply directly to skin. I watched another video and that’s how she did it. So I get a qtip and part my hair and apply to hairline. I just started so no results yet. I also have a small brush that I massage it into scalp. Not sure if necessary but the other person had it that great results so I just copied her.
@@Allyopps0722 Hey 💗 it's been 4 months now, have you seen any results?
I used to apply 100% tea tree oil to my whole face every night before going to bed. I was stressed and it was helping me to relax. Now I just have essential oil diffuser 😅
You docs are amazing. Thank you for this channel!
My request for an episode would be on DMSO.
I was using a 70/30 solution and it will remove my EAC lesions from my Sjogrens in about a week. (On their own they can last months.)
I told my dermatologist (EAC confirmed through biopsy) that I wasn’t worried about treatment for them because I know how to get rid of them with DMSO. She said, “oh yea we use DMSO in dermatology for other things, that’s fine.”
What else do you use topical DMSO to treat?
Can you go over the best way to use it? The only instructions for DMSO seem to come from woo, or sus sources.
My current regimen:
Clean with usual soap and water.
I am with Dr Shah on traditional beauty hacks
Nettle tea for hair loss is great (as a rinse and a drink). I have heard fenugreek and garlic are also great, but the smell…
I have never known anyone to leave a cleansing/ acne pad on overnight. What is he internet teaching these people?? Common sense has been replaced by the addiction for a quick fix. I thank you two for creating this channel. I subbed after my first watch. Keep up the great work/ information.
CVS regularly third-party tests all the supplements they sell, and they have to match the labels, or they will stop carrying it/not accept it to sell whatsoever if it's a first-time test of a new brand or product. It's relatively safe to get supplements from CVS, or at least look and see which ones they stock/carry and they'll be backed by that guarantee! And this is a publicly disclosed and advertised guarantee you can find in stores and online. Just a tip!
Good to know! Thank you! 😊
Thank you!!💚
I mix tree tea oil with thayers rose petal toner and coconut oil for cleaning my face and my face loves it.
When I get a blemish I will dot a very small amount of tea tree oil on it. Never had any problems and works like a charm 👍
Hi! Which tea tree oil do you use?
@@manahilhassan8725 I use Eden’s Garden essential oils. They have a great website 👍
Do not change your intro ! I live for Here we go 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿🔥🔥
A lot people have hair loss and try to solve it without even knowing what’s causing the hair loss
I have tried to save my hair. The doctor gave me two oral scrips, been using nutrofol, had PRP done 3 times and my hair is still falling out. So far I have lost the sides and half the crown in the front, hairline does not exist. I am 72 years old. I have been losing my hair for several years, but now it is more aggressive. I was hoping the PRP would work. How is the IRESORE helmet? I don't want to go bald. Please help me. I watch you all the time. I would appreciate any help. Thank you so much, Diane in Florida.
My friend broke her leg when we were in Iceland and an orthopedic doctor, the nurse at the ER, and our hotel clerk all told her to put honey on it. So I coated her leg in honey. I'm sure it's a great natural remedy, but Advil is way less sticky.
My fav thing to do is to mix a few drops of tea tree oil w/purified water in a small spray bottle and use the solution as a skin toner. Magical 🦄
Rice water is amazing, especially fermented one!!
I just made black rice water tonight for the first time! I can’t wait to try it. I boiled the water with grapefruit peels and that’s supposed to kill the bad smell so we will see 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Also I take MSM internally and I know without a doubt it helps with my hair growth.
@@Princess-rb9yd would Rice water be okay for men (short hair) too? I'm worries about what rice water will do to my scalp which is usually dry in winter.
@@sm3675 yes it should be. I would only do it every 4-8 weeks if you are worried about dryness. Doing a regular protein treatment would be a better alternative
Can you answer for me:
1 What does dht do in the scalp?
2 Why are there receptors for it there?
3 What does blocking it there topically do negatively to my body?
4 Does it make dht flow more through my body?
5 is dht produced in the scalp or just end up there?
Existing health conditions aside, I wonder if anyone considers we've experienced a trauma on a national/worldwide scale (the pandemic) and that stress is possibly causing hair loss? Informative video, thanks! 😊
After having Covid, I experienced lots of hair fall.
When I was a teenager I used to mash up banana with instant coffee and honey
I found it very soothing for my skin that I had irritated by not knowing how to use exfoliants, and the dern that I saw a few times to help me fix up my skin had no issue with it
Banana is a decent base I think though I'm not sure if it really does much
And the instant coffee dissolves, so mechanical exfoliation can't really happen even on accident
Would love to know more about when patients should consider seeking intense skin procedures such as chemical peel, micro dermabrasion etc. or if other facial methods will work depending on the desired results. I feel there is a lot of stigma around these. Thanks!
I was suffering from c*vid hair loss and do have hashimotos. For the first time ever I am having the massive reduction of hair loss and hair regrowth popping all over included a return of my widows peak since massaging castor and rosemary oil into my scalp 2-3 times a week followed by a 5 minute massage. My family have noticed a major difference
I used Minoxidil and my doctor found I had a heart problem. Reading the fine print on the Rogaine box, it says 'stop if you have heart problems developing...'
That poor woman with the burn!
I've never had something that bad (thank goodness) but I have overexfoliated to the point of nearly crying when I put lotion on.
Me too!! But I’ve been using for over 2 months now and my hair is full… I mean it is heavy and soooooo strong. Its great.
why aren't we celebrating the 1 MILLION PLUS MILESTONE?!!!!
100% tea tree oil undiluted?
