My favorite thing about the Buds 2 Pro is that they play much louder than my Sony WF-1000XM4. The Sony have a very nice sound but anything above 60-70% volume ruins the sound. The new Samsung Bud 2 Pro can be turned up to 90% and still retain most of their sound quality. I'm not into blasting my music but some recordings are just recorded lower and need the extra volume. I've yet to hear any wireless bud/headphone that can compete with basic wired headphones with a dongle.
Very fair assessment....the only thing I would add that's a major thing is functionality and consistency. The buds pro 2 are the very first earphones without functionality flaws. Sonys xm4 ..fit horrible ...the linkbuds have defective random feedback that happens...the Sennheisers have reboot and crashes ...etc etc...this bud pro 2 works just like promised and doesn't crash....sounds very detailed with sub bass kicks along with good separation..has 8 hours without anc you didn't mention (has great passive NC so anc not needed in most cases)...and doesn't stutter and has 24 bit audio capabilities. Bottom line ...they work as designed and very few earphones have this ability. Most always need firmware to get things right that don't work
I have the buds pro and they were very painful for me as well. The buds 2 pro are awesome. Very comfortable, I can wear them for hours. The buds pro have that weird oval shaped hole where the gel tip attaches, with the buds 2 pro the holes are round and smaller

I dont know but I have Buds 2 pro right now, and Ill return them. Sound quality is rly good, but ANC is almost non existent and sound leakage above 60% is not something I can manage in workplace. I need to go by bus every day to work and back home and its almost impossible to listen to anything with ANC. I can even hear ppl speaking with ANC on. I have the earfun free pro 2 and I don't know what is the difference with the galaxy buds pro 2 regarding ANC. Is the difference so big? Depends on your needs & music preferences, if you're using samsung device, balanced sound, go for buds pro 2. Buds pro1 the eartips is very bad, try using eartips from azla crystal for galaxy buds pro. - if you prefer anc, all rounder sound, ldac support, go for wf-1000xm4 (probably you'll need to buy silicone eartips too, the stock foam tips from wf-1000xm4 is horrible)
It is impossible to get an impression of how these sound with the music you use as a test. If you want to get an impression, you have to play different genres of music then we are able to make up our minds if the sound is good for the music you play the most.
Thanks for the feedback! It's a work in progress. I do need to emphasize that at the moment, the samples are more for comparing them to earbuds A-B, and such, using the same music is better. But I hear you!

@@scorpa106 it all comes down to personal preference, the buds 2 pro fit better in my ear and the ANC is a big upgrade for me because I do landscaping and listen to music while being around engines. I can definitely tell a difference there but if you don't need better ANC then I wouldn't say it's worth it. However any earbud you choose is a good one, it all comes down to your use, budget, and personal preference.
Hi all, I have some experience and I now, how customisation Samsung buds earphones when you’re have IPhone. You can customise your buds on other Android devices with galaxy wearable apps and after that use with iPhone, like me)
I think buds2pro has better dynamic sound overall, the mids are cleaner,sharper and the songs are presented more mellow ish. Even drums beats more natural than the airpods pro2 in the buds pro2.

It's all cool with the Buds 2 Pro, but I returned them. They sound great and I like the way you can change volume with the Labs functionality. But I have four major problems with them, of which first two are a deal breaker for me: 1. It's impossible to get them in and out, or readjust them in the ear, without triggering play/pause/any skip 2. Samsung still can't manage to make a proper ear/wearing detection, so most of the time they don't stop playing for me, once in a while they do. Sorry, but this is on another level for all competition, especially Apple. 3. Battery life with ANC is really "meh" for 2022 4. ANC is best of all Samsung buds, but it's only good for deep noises and still so far behind competition. Example: last week when there was an announcement in the tram, I was thinking I am in the transparency mode, so clear and loud I could hear it. I even switched the mode, as I was really convinced it was transparency mode, just to realize "whoops, yes, it can get louder".
I checked in on you one year later. You’re still failing to gain traction. Son, apple doesn’t do presentations for a reason on air pods. It’s hard to describe sound. Wake up and grow up.

I like how good my samsung earbuds sound. I love my galaxy buds pro and I sure samsung makes the best earbuds in the world.
