In a way, they're both losers. I only say that because neither one is fully supported on the others' devices. There's no good reason in my mind why Samsung won't support iOS and why Apple won't support Android.
One thing i'd like to mention, big difference in transparancy mode in samsung can be made by the app, under accessibility. I generally set it to lvl 3, nd mode to soft(the ambient sound, not eq), do not get the robotic sound at all all while the transparancy is clearer than my so's airpods.
I've a Samsung frame tv. I connect my Buds2 to it for watching movies. When I receive call on my Samsung phone all I need is just answer it. Boom I can talk directly without any hiccups. It automatically switches seamlessly.
The huge difference in call quality surprised me. Both are good yet different. Samsung has a more natural, rich sound that did allow more background in while keeping the callers voice prominent. The Airpods, while great for listening to the caller had a ton of artifact and oversaturated mids. All in all my vote is probably for my Jabra Elite 7 Active over both (as a S 21U user). If you're in the Apple ecosystem then Airpods edge them out for day to day experience.
yeah the airpods sounded incredibly tinny but with the advantage of blocking out background noise better, although I still prefer the galaxy bud's mic since it makes voices sound way better than the airpods
Buds 2 pro are the best earbuds I've ever had. It feels like they're closing in on perfecting a lot of the designs. I feel like they even look pretty good while you use them
without kidding, in a cycling accident that I had the wheels ran over them and almost nothing was damaged and they are still just as functional .... but I was left devastated on the ground
There's absolutely something wrong with your hearing. I have no idea how you came to that conclusion, unless you switched the two. the airpods were way louder and clearer, while the buds sounded extremely muffled.
Just got the galaxy buds 2 pro, first off i wanna say i love how fast they connected to my phone and updated. The silcon tips are soft and good on the ear, the buds fit perfectly and with the new fit test you get true fit as well. I love the tap of the back of the ear to turn the volume up and down. They sound amazing, the ANC is great, the airpods have a bit better but i got my buds for 130 compared to like 200 for aipods. I just upgraded from the buds + which i had for 2 years for battery life. I know these buds pro 2 are gonna be a major step up
Fantastic video Mike. Really liked this one. I've been a Galaxy customer since Galaxy S2 and even had the iPhone 3gs in white on release. Tempted to switch ecosystem so this helped me alot
The Buds2 Pro is a winner for me, The price gets lower, It has more bass, which for me it’s better. It has a great fit, is smaller, and has more colors. The ANC isn't better compared to Airpods, but not by alot. The music covers the noise anyway, That’s why Samsung is the winner for me.
Dolts think bass is bass it’s not. You want real soundstage not just fake base I own both and this is about as stupid as saying the XM4s are better sounding then the APM just because they have more fake bass. Bass should be pronounced when it’s needed and not with sacrifice to other sounds.
@@TheApatheticMike unlike you I can afford all these headphones so unlike bias asshats I can have a subjective opinion. Where your conformation bias is strong with this one.
9:30 The Galaxy Buds have the same Find My features as the AirPods. They can can be tracked and shown exact location using UWB, and they can play a loud sound from inside the case using UWB without being connected to the device. It's all in the Smartthings Find App. The one advantage the Airpods Pro have in the finding department is the speaker on case for finding the case alone with nothing in it.
@@ahmedmahomed not necessarily app2s have one upper hand on the galaxy buds 2 pro, the case has a speaker too. Anc works a lot better on app2 than galaxy buds adaptive transparency is really useful. (i use both, one for apple ecosystem usage, and the other for windows and my samsung phone (S21 ultra)
@@TabbyEgg312Yeah it’s a pretty awful app. Shows my buds are located on a street in a different part of the country with the same name as my home street. Weird ass bugs like this are very common
I’m still using the two year old Samsung Buds Pro, and recently made an impulsive purchase for the Airpods Pro Gen 2. Kind of a regret to make the purchase because I actually find the older Buds Pro still having a deeper bass than Airpods Pro 2 even after I tuned to the maximum volume!
well that should be obvious by the design lol... airpods are more lowkey.. the buds pro have actual tips that go into your ear and fills it better, it'll naturally get better bass!
I just switched from the AirPod one to the two, and I was stunned at how much better the active noise cancellation was, I think if I’m walking through town but don’t need any music or podcast I’ll still put the earphones in. Dramatic difference.
I've just upgrade to the Pro 2's The ANC is much better, however I now use the adaptive feature in the gym, just as good as ANC and better sound quality. One of the really helpful features no one seem s to mention, is that you can now see the battery status, of both the case and the pods in the battery widget on the iPhone at all time when in range, without having to open the case close to the iPhone. Brilliant feature as is Adaptive, sound quality also much better than the originals! As for Samsung buds2, not really ever a consideration, but the Mic's are truly awful on them!
I just bought a S23 Ultra and wanted to try these for the first time so I bought the Buds Pro 2 to pair with my Galaxy phone and I'm really impressed as well as pleased with my investment. Great comparison. I thought you'd be biased but I felt you were truly fair. Great video and thanks.
These Samsung Pro 2 buds are awesome. Noise canceling and bass is perfect! I recently switched to the S23 Ultra and picked up these Pro buds. They're awesome.

I added timestamps to all my videos during the slow season. I don't omit them for retention though and in fact it seems to make no impact on my average view duration. I just don't have time during August, September, and October. I am testing and filming to make the best quality videos I can for you all and I usually work between 65 and 80 hours per week on this channel.
I absolutely respect the hustle. If you'd like me to stop adding time stamps, I'll happily do so. I figured those who really need the timestamps will search for them while others who don't won't need to.
@@MikeOBrienMedia If you don't do it for audience retention then please just provide time stamps. It makes your videos much more digestible and takes minutes to do on your end.
Well I got the buds 2 pro last week and right off the bat I was shocked how good it was . That ANC experience was impressive. And the good part is unlike smart watch you can install the app on multiple devices. This was my concern because I use my phone for casual work my watch for workout and my tablet for gaming. Therefore I don't need to change the settings ones at a time.
The profile and fit are alone worth the price. I don't want a bud sticking out of my ear all day. Sound cores looked nice but they are so huge and cumbersome
@@0hMyGandhi i bought the buds 2 pro, I can still hear birds chirping with noise cancelling, so doesn't seem like it cancels high pitched sounds at all really, although it did a good job at reducing the sound of fans, cars etc. Sound quality was lackluster even on a samsung for a 2022 200+ usd pair of headphones, comfort for me personally wasn't good, my ears hurts after 3 hours of continuous use, it does stick to my ears well though. The smaller and larger sized tips that came separate kept falling out of the buds, and other tips I own don't fit the small tip holder these buds. I'm a bit disappointed since I paid 255 usd expecting a top of the line earbuds, but I can't see anything too special that stands out about these ones, especially for ones that have proprietary technology, you'd expect it to stand out somehow... The main thing I like about the buds are the aesthetics and wireless charging but apart from that I'd say everything else is mediocre.
I recently bought the AirPods Pro 2, and I'm blown away by how much better they are the first generation. Apple tries to get away with simple, incremental updates, but these are a huge improvement.
Probably, one of the considerations that you might want to check is the software integration. If you are using an iPhone, sadly, there is no galaxy buds support on the App Store. Thus, no room for you to fully utilize it. It was just up as a wireless ear phone.
Currently on Galaxy Buds Pro and looking to upgrade now and from the look of this, I'm going with the Buds 2 Pro. For over a year the Buds Pro have been my go to and if the Buds 2 Pro are smaller but pack more punch, then I'm staying with the buds. The stems are exactly what I don't like on the ipods
I love the galaxy buds 2 are perfect on tidal masters where you can play 24 bit audio and truly hear how amazing they sound he forgot all about yhe 24 bit audio something air pods can't do
If you have galaxy bud2 pro get tidal masters and hear the 24 bit audio and truly hear why they sound better I bet he didn't test the 24 bit audio blow the airpods out the water yiu can hear the highs very clear
Follow up comment. I did get the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and I can safely say thw upgrade from the Galaxy Buds Pro is noticeable, they certainly pack more bass and punch and I have retired the Buds Pro for good, not looking back now
Wow the galaxy buds 2 pro sounded better inside but the AirPods was louder outside. I prefer the galaxy buds fit in ear than the AirPods plus the matte black non hockey stick is more appealing to me. Both are great but ultimately you have to have their parent company devices to get all the tuning features from each. Which is why I’m waiting for the next version of the beats fit pros with wireless charging.
The "outdoor" test is mistake or deception, he's recording with the phone microphone instead of the buds 2. It's kinda obvious if you've watched other videos that start recording with the camera microphone. It's why it's clearer but his voice is lower volume, because the phone is 2 to 4 feet away from him.
My left samsung bud fell in my pool whilst I was busy adding acid to my pool and landed on the 1,5m pool floor,I, struggled to get it out for about 2 minutes,I cleaned it, and to this day still works, perfect! Although this kind of usage is not advisable for longevity, it actually shows how good and durable these buds are, definitely worth their money!
This morning I went to the Samsung shop and bought the Galaxy buds2 pro. I'm so happy about them. Great sound! The wearable app can even check if they are sitting right. I liked the black ones most, but the shop only had the purple buds. Don't care. Sound is more important...so I have purple buds...and then?
A good point to make would be what price you can pick them up for ‘used’. When I say used I mean pre owned but not actually used. Samsung often does bundles so a lot of people get these in contract bundles, but don’t actually need them, so I was able to pick up a brand new sealed buds 2 pro for £100, less than half price. There were a few people selling at this price on Facebook. I’ve never looked for a set of AirPods so cant say how much they go for pre owned.
you did a great job of reviewing and comparing both. I have both and agree about your findings. The new Air Pods Pro are really good earbuds! The transparency feature is amazing and the most practical and useful thing to use. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max for work and a Samsung Z Fold 4 for my personal use and I end up using the air pods Pro on both. I hate the white color and prefer the nice matte black of the Samsung though. :)
Haha, I’m the reverse. iPhone for personal cuz everyone has Apple so FaceTime is crucial for seeing my kids n wife while away at work. But S22 for work because, well it’s cheaper for storage, has more options etc and works better with windows. Don’t like Apple OS. I use AirPods tho cuz voice call is better on it
Great review Mike! I have a real problem with true wireless as u stated in your review. I purchased a set of Jabra's a while back, and while they sound excellent, they constantly fall out of my ears, while talking, chewing or just sitting there. Now I only use them in my house, occasionally. So, I got a 1More dual driver bluetooth wireless neck band type and they never fall out, and if they do, I won't drop them or lose them. I doubt I will ever experiment with true wireless again. Ears are funny huh.
It'a a hit or miss. Original galaxy buds was perfect for me, wing tips kept them in place perfectly. Buds 2 wouldn't stay in at all and original buds pro are ok, but they are scarring the inside of my ears after prolonged use. At least i didn't buy any of them.
keep in mind that Samsung also inclueds the buds for free if you preorder a new phone via their galaxy store. they have been doing that since the original buds came out. something nice to know if you are in the market for them and wanna snag one for free when u upgrade your phone
Yeah. Got my buds pro with the s21 ultra. Wouldn't have paid for these otherwise. They're great. I just wouldn't have thought of paying this much for some headphones, haha
youre 100% right about the dual point connection. I used to have the jabra elite 65t and those had dual connection so I could connect my pc and my phone to my earbuds at the same time, and it would play audio from both at the same time, which was convenient when I was using my pc, and happen to be on social media on my phone.
Got my Bud2 Pro for 160 on sale already. The slim look of Galaxy Buds is so much better looking. The shaft that sticks out has been an accepted look because you don't have any other choice with Apple.
Where I live the Galaxy Buds2 Pro are about 160€ and the AirPods Pro 2 are about 280€. The AirPods Pro 1 never dropped really dropped under 200€ so this is kind of an easy choice for me to make. Still I would prefer the AirPods Pro case because of its form factor.
@@ddvantandar-kw7klDON'T GO FOR THE AIRPODS 3RD GEN! Being unbiased, it's way worse than the Airpods Pro 2. The tweeter on the Galaxy Buds are literally meant to boost clarity, which no Airpods have. If your looking for sound quality and are already in the Samsung ecosystem, get the Buds2 Pro
Great video. I started to play games on my Windows PC and wanted to play with earbuds. I tried with my Sonys WF 800N but they just wont connect. So after watching your very thorough video I decided to buy a pair of Galaxy Buds2 Pro. I just love how Samsung easily connects all their devices (I own 2 Galaxy phones). So thank you for making my decision easier. Thumbs up
I have the Buds2 pro , the microphones and also the sound is great. The anc and ambient mode have also gotten alot better then the previous generations. But I gotta say sound, microphones and features the Buds win over the airpods (in my opinion) The microphone test you did in the video , I gotta say the Buds sounded better. Anc and ambient mode on the airpods are slightly better but not the much then the Buds. But all in all it all comes down to which ecosystem you're in, which design you like more and the sound, because we all hear different. I kinda find it hard to say which ones are better.
Not hard to say which ones were better in the mic test. The AirPods Pro 2 were clearly better, full stop. It doesn't make the AirPods Pro 2 the better overall choice because there is so much that is personal preference but the mic test was plainly obvious AirPods Pro 2 win by a mile.
@@timincal2002 the sound quality is much better on the buds pro 2. you can hear his voice, the sound of the vehicle and the sound of the wind is very natural, while the airpod pro2 has a lot of noise. airpod pro2 sounds clear because the sound is louder, while in buds pro 2 the sound is smaller. if there are ordinary people who don't know the two brands and listen to the sound of both, I'm sure that person will choose buds pro2
@Dbz death Samsung produced more of a natural sound a bit low yes I see that BUT they sound balanced and not low to the point of not hearing anything and being dissatisfied . Apple is louder and clearer I agree but Samsung has more of a balance natural sound indoor and outdoor so its really up to user preference
Thanks Mike :) I just bought some AirPods Pro 2s the other day and haven't had a chance to try them yet. My original AirPods Pros died suddenly after 15 months and unfortunately I didn't purchase AppleCare+. In regard to your left AirPod falling out I know some people use different sized tips for different ears. Something to try maybe if you haven't. I thought the mike on the AirPods 2s here sounded much better. And I know as you mentioned the base sounds on the AirPods isn't the strongest. I'll try them and see how it goes.
I'm a Samsung user that likes AirPods. The sound qualities and the comfort is worth the sacrifices of interface. But I'm curious how the new buds sound
One thing I'd like to see compared is the EQ options available to both ecosystems. Samsung has a full custom EQ for all audio the phone outputs, and I am curious if Apple at least has EQ while the Airpods are connected
I am a Samsung user since S7. I like the beans best but have the buds pro2 on the way. I like the direction 360 when watching videos. It brings some realism to the virtual world. I assume the differences between the pro and pro 2, will be minimal. I am planning to trade in the Pros next year for the Pro 3. Keep the Pro 2 for the Pro 4 trade in. I really like the Beans.
Pro tip for “edge tap” on the galaxy buds. If you just tap your ear or even just tap the upper part of your head a little harder it’ll activate the volume controls. I loved that feature when I had them/
I feel like that’s literally nothing different from what I said. I guess because they are very sensitive or something but I was saying all you needed was to tap the top of your ear, obviously you can tap in other areas but the top of the ear was always the most convenient for me personally.
got my buds 2 pro a week ago and was blown away by the sound the loudness and how comfortable they sit in my ears and the first thing i did was test how good surround sound is on these and its GREAT
I think the the Buds 2 Pros are awesome. But I'm hoping that Samsung improves the find features like adding a speaker to the case in their next iteration. They do that and I'll be upgrading for sure.
Can you make a comparison like this, but also adding the Pixel Buds Pro? Kind of like you did with the iOS vs OneUI vs Pixel UI I think it'd be really interesting for many people.
Hi, great video, bro. I just bought the Bugs 2 pro and was looking for some tutorial videos and came across this and must say you did well on the test. My take on the tests: 1: The Buds 2 pro is high-end earbud compared to Airpods. They have a lot of features considering their size of it compared to the Airpods. The name "earbuds" best qualifies for the Buds 2 pro. The Airpods don't look that great to me. 2: The Airpods have an insane ANC, but the microphone is too high-pitched and has a terrible impact on the other side. It's good at canceling noise while using the microphone, but the Buds 2 pro sounded much more natural and well-optimized but had a lot of noise in the background compared to the Airpods. 3: The Buds 2 pro sounds impressively better than the Airpods in sound quality (my friend has Airpods). The Airpods sounded hollowed compared to the warm Buds 2 pro. Conclusion: If you want the best all-rounded earbuds, then I will recommend the Buds 2 pro, but if you wish to great ANC, long battery life, and you are a high-dying Apple fan, then the Airpods are good you. Again it's my opinion on the little test I did with my friend; everyone could verify from my view.
I respect your opinion.if I had a android I would 100% buy the galaxy buds but since I have a iPhone ima have to get the AirPods.mostly getting it cuz of the convenience and ecosystem
@@kg_3415 Yes, it will work with any device with Bluetooth. Only some Samsung exclusive features like 24-bit audio, 360 audio, etc wouldn't work on other devices.
Personally I preferred the mic of the galaxy buds especially inside I could hear you alot better and outside it sounded more clear in general for everything and I agree with you that they sound better and have a better future set as well and I do not switch devices when using them so I definitely think the galaxy buds are better especially since i have a Samsung phone as well
Even as an airpods owner just because of the ecosystem, I have to say the samsung buds pro 2 looks perfectly fit on ears and dope in its own way, also from the test, the mic of the samsung one is significantly better!
I always loved the Samsung Buds. Both design, sound quality and features. I'm sure the AirPods sound great too, but I never liked that one Bellsprout design and also the fact that it's ONLY white.
I got Galaxy Buds2 Pro at a $100 discount just for $198 CAD and a wireless charger free. These are my first buds after Airpods first generation I used with iPhone. Now I am in Android using Buds2 Pro with my S22 Ultra. They are very seamless in switching between Tab S8 Plus and S22 Ultra which is impressive. They are good especially ANC is great but a bit discomfort in my left ear. I am getting pain after some time and surprisingly no issue with my right ear. Might be this issue is only with my ears because based on reviews I bought Sony wired earphones which too hurt both of my ears which is not an issue at all for other buyers. Anyways I am trying to get used to these Buds. They are great 👍 in every thing else. Nice video thank you 🙂
Been a Samsung phone user for a long time but have always used airpods. Recently left my airpods pro on the plane and debating if I should get another pair or try out the galaxy buds2 pro. Really appreciate this video!!
I have the galaxy buds and my sister has the airpods. So, of course she swears by them. I will say that the differences are so subtle it is just preference at the end of the day. The mic is definitely better on the airpods but to me the overall sound quality for music is better on the galaxy pads. If you use them a lot for calls then go with the airpods but if it's more for music and movies.... definitely galaxy
By far Best review conclusion. No sides. Only truth!. I was just a viewer of yours, but now after this video, I have gained some respect for you. The truth always matters, especially when you have such a huge audience.
Got the APP2 from the prime sale yesterday. Use them with ipad pro, pc and android (I don't have a apple phone atm but hopefully the next gen SE will come out next year with the a16 so might go for that since my android (redmi k20pro) is from 2019 so a little old and the battery used to be good but is abysmal now. They are pretty great buds! haven't tried samsung but from the video overview, it seems apple slightly has the edge.
I was in similar situation with my Galaxy s10. I decided to convert to the dark side after being in Android for a decade and bought the 14pro. I’m not convinced to change my ear buds and kept my buds 2 which works perfectly for me with iPhone. I’ll wait to see what new features they will in 2023 (hopefully more color choices)
I have the Samsung eco system, minus their TVs because of the bad experiences with them. The Buds 2 pro are the best buds that I've used so far. I seamlessly switch the buds from my phone, watch, and tablet. The buds 2 pro are very innovative.
I got to pick the buds just because they stay in better. Had my pods fall out and one landed in the sink while I was washing dishes. I got it out, and used rice, and it seemed to work for three days, and then it just wouldn't hold a battery charge and died. This time I'm going with the buds. The moment you said they stay in better, don't fall out during exercise, and stay in better with general head movement, while the pods get loose and can fall out, I was already sold on buds. The pods sound like they have slightly better features when it comes to noise cancelation, and microphone quality, but I can't use the features of a pod that falls out of my ear into water.
Great review! I'm loving your channel. You are very pleasant to watch and listen to. I picked up the Galaxy Buds2 Pro last week because I've been buying more Samsung products lately like the Galaxy watch 6 classic, Z Fold 4 and Tab S9 Ultra. I've been impressed with Samsung until the Buds2 Pro. I was picking up way too much white noise and the anc was subpar compared to Airpod pro 2 and the Sony XM5s. I took them back. Hopefully Samsung will do better with their next iteration. I'd love to get fully into the Samsung ecosystem but the buds are not ready for my preferences.
I recently swapped to a Galaxy S22 Ultra. And so I am still rocking my Air Pods 1 with it. My question is, should I get the Air Pods Pro or the Galaxy Buds? I absolutely hate the look of the Galaxy Buds as well as the touch controls. But they will work better with my phone. But I also have a spare iPhone SE that I can use for all of the features on the Air Pods Pro that I would be missing out on with my main phone. Anyone have any advice on which ones to get?
If you're ditching your iPhone and don't like the Galaxy buds, consider a different brand of premium earbuds! Bose, Sony, etc. There are a ton out there!
Nice bro i like your review with this device and you’re right also that the airpods having best in transparency. Can I request to review the jbl live pro 2 vs the airpods pro 2
I prefer ipods pro gen 2. Sound is better and the anc is definitely better. I got the galaxy buds2 pro the other day. I did give them a try and I took them back this morning to get the ipods. Granted I do lose some functionality when using the ipods since I got the galaxy s22 ultra.
As always Mike a great comparison. Perhaps a pair of Airpod Pro 2's for the ipad Pro & Apple 4K TV whilst the Galaxy Buds2 Pro for paired to my s22 and galaxy watch. I was at the gym yesterday and my wife called me. I was on my Galaxy Buds2 pro. I answered her call and it was TRIPPY. I have it so that the ambient sound kicks in when I'm on a call, so it sounded like u was talking to my wife at the gym, but it was just a disembodied voice. These earbuds are the best I've ever used bar none.
I have air pod pros 2 that I actually use with an Android phone and an iPhone and I can tweak them more with android and they sound good. But apple ear buds aren't that best as far as I am concerned. The galaxy buds pro 2 in my opinion have a slight edge for wound quality. Plus I prefer the design way better
As a Samsungs ecosystem and PC, I will never use apple as long as I live, mainly cause it's a US company and they have way to much control over everything you do with your iPhone etc. Currently using; S23 Ultra (switched from s22u) Z FOLD 5 Galaxy Watch 5 Pro Galaxy buds + Galaxy Buds 2 Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Haven't ran into anything that would require me to try any apple products... Used iPhone from iPhone 2 - iPhone 4s Then switched to android and never looked back.
I’ve got the AirPods Pro 2nd gen, despite little need of more bass they are amazing in sound quality with lotta detail and of course no complains about any other feature they provide. Just great user experience.

Walter can’t keep getting away with this
@@Hoo_Lee_Sheett 🤣🤣
Dolts think bass is bass it’s not. You want real soundstage not just fake base I own both and this is about as stupid as saying the XM4s are better sounding then the APM just because they have more fake bass. Bass should be pronounced when it’s needed and not with sacrifice to other sounds.
Bro had this whole argument with himself acting high and mighty just to misspell bass the entire time

He's obviously bias toward apple.

Same here I feel like the airpods don’t feel as deep in sound compared to the buds especially with higher volume.
Which ones did you stick with?
Using them with android?
How is the mic quality in calls, in your experience? Outside conditions.
@@orepoutanes Me too
well that should be obvious by the design lol... airpods are more lowkey.. the buds pro have actual tips that go into your ear and fills it better, it'll naturally get better bass!
Are you using them with a Samsung or an iPhone?
I just switched from the AirPod one to the two, and I was stunned at how much better the active noise cancellation was, I think if I’m walking through town but don’t need any music or podcast I’ll still put the earphones in. Dramatic difference.
Hey, is the ANC supposed to cancel every sound or does it only lower the frequency?
@@nazbmn242 it cancels most sound but you’ll still hear people talking if their close enough
I've just upgrade to the Pro 2's
The ANC is much better, however I now use the adaptive feature in the gym, just as good as ANC and better sound quality.
The comparrison is spot on. I have had both and agree with every point you made without any difference in my experience.

Tysm. This UA-camr is awful for not providing time stamps to increase his audience retention time which is why I don't sub to him.
I got it three days back, for me the sound quality was very lackluster compared to some of the other buds i have tried.
@@SpirallingSpiral True, it don't justify the price to sound quality ratio. Many low cost ear buds with LDAC support, sounds much better.
I wanted to love the buds 2 pro, but found them incredibly underwhelming, and they kept falling out of my ear.
I completely agree, when I first got the second gen I was surprised on how big of a difference there is between both gens
Buds pro 1 vs 2. Not worth it. Call quality is absolutely horrible, buds pro 2 don’t fit as well as pro 1

Follow up comment. I did get the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and I can safely say thw upgrade from the Galaxy Buds Pro is noticeable, they certainly pack more bass and punch and I have retired the Buds Pro for good, not looking back now
Great video. As always, great attention to detail. I would love to see a video comparing these to the Pixel Buds Pro.

Beats used to be so garbage. I haven't used any lately so maybe they've improved
Man your comparisons are just ❤️❤️❤️
The mic on the galaxy buds sounded way more natural than the airpods, which sounded good but a bit like talking into a tin can.
Will it work with non Samsung phone like real me gt2 means all the features...

Same here, I ordered mine unboxed, "used" for about 100 dollars
Have Galaxy buds pro 2 for the gym, and they are awesome! Great sound, never move.
you did a great job of reviewing and comparing both.

I have the Buds2 pro , the microphones and also the sound is great. The anc and ambient mode have also gotten alot better then the previous generations.
But I gotta say sound, microphones and features the Buds win over the airpods (in my opinion)
The microphone test you did in the video , I gotta say the Buds sounded better.
@Dbz death There were 2 mic tests, one outdoor, one indoor. Indoor buds pro 2 were way better, outdoor airpods 2 pro were way better.
Excellent review, to the point. Thank you.
Smply put, You don't have AppleCare because Apple doesn't care.
I'm a Samsung user that likes AirPods. The sound qualities and the comfort is worth the sacrifices of interface. But I'm curious how the new buds sound
One thing I'd like to see compared is the EQ options available to both ecosystems. Samsung has a full custom EQ for all audio the phone outputs, and I am curious if Apple at least has EQ while the Airpods are connected
sadly they don’t there has to be a EQ in the app ur using i also like the fact that the Samsung buds have lossless support and i’m a airpod pro 2 user
there's a feature called "active eq" that automatically adjusts to the surrounding sound, your ear shape, etc
It's dope that you made a very concise case for your video right at the start. Shut'n those haters at the gate 😎 politely.
I am a Samsung user since S7. I like the beans best but have the buds pro2 on the way. I like the direction 360 when watching videos. It brings some realism to the virtual world. I assume the differences between the pro
and pro 2, will be minimal.
I loved that feature when I had them/
Just tap back of your ears, much better
I feel like that’s literally nothing different from what I said. I guess because they are very sensitive or something but I was saying all you needed was to tap the top of your ear, obviously you can tap in other areas but the top of the ear was always the most convenient for me personally.
got my buds 2 pro a week ago and was blown away by the sound the loudness and how comfortable they sit in my ears and the first thing i did was test how good surround sound is on these and its GREAT
Nice review
I think the the Buds 2 Pros are awesome. But I'm hoping that Samsung improves the find features like adding a speaker to the case in their next iteration. They do that and I'll be upgrading for sure.
Nicely done! 😊
Can you make a comparison like this, but also adding the Pixel Buds Pro?
Kind of like you did with the iOS vs OneUI vs Pixel UI
I think it'd be really interesting for many people.
Pixel buds pro don't even compete with these.

Hi, great video, bro. I just bought the Bugs 2 pro and was looking for some tutorial videos and came across this and must say you did well on the test.
My take on the tests:
1: The Buds 2 pro is high-end earbud compared to Airpods.
Thanks for sharing mate 👍

I have the Galaxy buds Pro 2 just got them Monday along with my S22 Ultra I Love them so far!!

Thank you so much for your contribution!.

Shout out to yourself, Flossy C, Jon Prossor, Daniel (Zone of Tech) MKHD, and the like. Just finding it really hard to get off my ar$e from the couch and turn the 4K Pano telly off! You guys are really making that process difficult, but need the $$$ for some new tech goodies. Prospective employers out here look out cause here I come, hire me HIRE ME NOW!!!
Yea, get a job.
Currently using;
S23 Ultra (switched from s22u)
Z FOLD 5
Galaxy Watch 5 Pro
Galaxy buds +
Galaxy Buds 2
Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
Haven't ran into anything that would require me to try any apple products...
Used iPhone from iPhone 2 - iPhone 4s
Then switched to android and never looked back.
Great comparison. Could you include pixel buds pro?
I’ve got the AirPods Pro 2nd gen, despite little need of more bass they are amazing in sound quality with lotta detail and of course no complains about any other feature they provide. Just great user experience.
I just bought them and sold my buds 2 pro since I've got an iphone and want to take advantage of the features.
Unlucky
@@W3TFART You mean I’m unlucky if I own them?
