It's been absolutely fantastic. Loving the variety. To see some of these restomods in detail, where before I'd only seen them on instagram has been a real treat.
Even if the Agnellis succeeded in destroying Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat and Maserati, what these characters did not understand is that ingenuity and intelligence run in the blood of Italians and cannot be suppressed. People like these guys from Italtecnica are a clear example of the incredible potential of the people of my country.
How can guys with such accomplisments already under their belts be so humble and accomodating, blows my mind. Having the talents, the drive and the means to do what they do must be every motorheads dream. I had a '71 GTV 2000 back in Los Angeles in the late '80s, this brings back memories with this body style.
The Italians are winning the restomod game. Imagine the New Stratos, Kimera 037, Futurista and Totem GT all together. Lambo themselves have done the "Countach" as well.
How is this a resto mod? Isn't it entirely bespoke? Not sure - didn't watch full video. If I had to criticize, I'd say too bad the A pillars & vent window posts are so damn thick. And the interior might be a little busy. Still, amazing! Oh, and the name. "Super" seems very uninspired. And Totem doesn't exactly rock my word either. I coulda thought of at least 10 better names. 😁 Thanks for the video!
Wow, what a company with a superb leader! I love the fact they are lean - especially now with the changes in the industry. Super interview. Those darn Italians amaze me every time! Born engineers and artists.
Even though I will never be able to afford that car, I am so glad that it exists as well as people with the vision and enthusiasm to create such a masterpiece even in today's times. All is not lost...
You guys are the luckiest men on earth and I'm happy for that, because you showed us these masterpieces and the amazing thing that they do at Italtecnica! Hello from romanian Alfisti! Cuore sportivo!
Having worked as an engineer for Italian tyre company Pirelli for 40 years a can vouch for the inventiveness and confidence these engineers exude. The manufacture of ultra low production engines is quite fascinating, I’ve never heard of this company but in the uk there is Cosworth and Judd to name but two.
These guys look and sound genuinely passionate about their engines and technology they are using... I hope them the best for the future. May they be successful 😇
@36:17 Granny pulling out her phone to shoot the car tells you all you need to know about Italian car culture. I mean, aside from the " car scene " everyone in Italy, petrolhead or not, appreciates a beautiful vehicle❤
Absolutely amazing. This is what car modification is about. The minds of the people who design and build these cars are an inspiration. Thanks for posting.
This is simply remarkable. The lines, the place, the only thing missing is the great food and libations of Italy. At the same time, just seeing outside of the Fence of the Italtecnica complex, reminds you of how mundane daily life has become with the rather ho hum pedestrian cars on display outside of them. Italy is truly a place of wonder.
Love this episode, what a company.. Amazing engines and the knowledge and creative force to go this far is inspiring. If I could have one car in the world it could be this Alfa inspired perfection
Bravo!❤
Wow THANKYOU, Dino firstly I must echo everybodies sentiment in that I love your laid back style!! I absolutely adore your JDM content, seeing the otherside of the worlds car culture is sick BUT I have to give 10/10 thumbs up for this trips Italian content. Firstly as a Engineering student, this video has been so inspiring, seeing behind the scenes in this industry, seeing the same CAD software being used that we are taught in daily, hearing the stories of the engineers from the Turin Poly to their current roles, bringing the ENERGY!!! Also the motor is unreal, if John Wick was Italian, that’s what he would drive! Still have a big smile on my face just from seeing the engineer punt it upto the church. Thanks again Dino, all the love from NE Scotland 😊
Yes, they develop engines from a plain paper (well, 3D cad model), this is one of few enginering firms wich do this here in Italy, hope they will allow the continuity of ICE in the next decades, maybe in limited numbers, Having Electric Hipercars with mesmerizing performances is good, it is incredible how they perform agaist ICE engined cars, but for me, an old petrol head wich works with racing cars (not at the level of those seen in Italtecnica but if it roars at over 8000rpm it's fun), it is the sound and all the noise coming from the engine and the gearbox wich has an old fascion wich will be never possible with electric cars (and not consider those fake sound systems wich emulates ICE sound, that's is simply stupid, an insult to the electric car itself, do you ever seen the first cars ever in the world, when supplanted the horse rided carts making the noise of the horse? NOPE).
Super sick to see some behind the scenes of such amazing coach built vehicles. Always loved the body style of the older Alfa's. Great to see the cars in there element with backdrop of the Italian countryside, so cinematic. Thanks Dino.
Awesome video! thanks so much for posting this. The history and achievements of this company are awe inspiring. I had a smile on my face the entire time it took to watch it.
it does look friggin insane ! Very cool. All the retro vibes from the interior, superb work ! Very special car, for a few chosen ones into the world. 🙂
Beautiful! This shows how the cars from 60s and 70s were blessed with visionary designs, but lacked better technologies to create masterpieces that would withstand time!
what i wished i could have was a split screen showing from 38:35 to 40:13 with an interior of the driver and the front exterior view. as a MOPAR head and a single owner, dealership bought 2007 Dodge Charger R/T AWD V8 5.7L 5 Gear Auto-Stick... that i've loved for years... watching how damn LONG those individual gears was... i loved it. i really wanted to know the terrain, the turns, the inclines and declines, traffic, everything about that test drive. that Totem just looks like the ultimate fun-run car... something that would cruise easily in a city or a town (with a touch of excitement now and again). but would open up and just burst out on the highways of the US. every styling element of the interior and the exterior of this Totem looked gorgeous... except for two things... those tail-lights. my word they appear... ALIEN compared to the rest of the car. much love to Itialtecnica for making such a beautiful looking and awesome sounding car in my headphones. i do hope you guys do get a chance to drive it yet again with the final fine tuning, bells and whistles completed. one small helping hand i can offer. 14:35 i think he was looking for the term 'Delamination' wherein the various layers of carbon fiber start to separate due to vibration, cross plane force applications, torsion, and overheating of the binding resins. but making that one part out of a singular piece of carbon fiber without layering is definitely a cool solution!
fabulous! - the coloring of the life effort in speed by engineers, fulfillment in the Italian way. love this video. thank you to bring this effort for us gearheads to witness.
I like the minimalistic design and the fact there is no cheap looking digital dashboard crap like on every modern luxury car today. This car interior looks like the actual car interior. Everything you really need is there and easily accessible.
Love what companies like this are doing; and doing it at the apex of mechanical engineering in a technological aspect. I’ve only done builds on vehicles from Japan, with this being the first time i’ve seen the Totem GT Super. I have to say that it looks and sounds spectacular.
What a sick video. Getting a bonus BTS for the Kimera 037 was an extra treat, but also seeing the genuine talented craftsmanship and engineering that goes on to make something like this. I'm also going to cross my fingers on you getting the chance to do a similar video with Judd lol
Being perfectly honest, an 100k for such a beautiful piece of machinery is nothing, and shows that small companies driven by passion, by young men with real skills are the futures of this niche of the industry. This is really amazing stuff.
Literally one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen! I WISH Alpha Romeo remade this with the body exactly the same way as the Totem, with the fenders, lights, rear and front end like that! It would sell like crazy! Of course with more of a modern everyday take on the inside in a AR way, maybe like the Guilia. Geez, this thing is sick!
wow wow wow. What a video. thanks Dino for taking us all on this extra ordinary journey through a part of Italy. Thoses cars! - guys - did you recognize what we have seen there? and the Totem
Dino content is always so entertaining and that collection Top Tier 👌 specially that Martini Lancia and that Totem GT Super such a phenomenal car from the paint , paint color , interior and interior color and all the raw metal and Carbon Fiber and the way everything is setup so minimalistic but planned so well and matches perfect like the beautiful raw metal gauge clusters and metal gated shifter to the raw feel inside with that amazing color leather interior , those epic wheels , engine and the sound it sounds so good 👌 what a car 👍
Lovely car... the compactness and over the top appointment evokes my memories of the 356 Outlaws that Rod Emory builds for his clients. This car is perfect for those narrow roads in the old Tuscan hill-top towns showcased in your video. Enjoy!
In a country which has "lost" a lot of big car names (Lancia, Alfa Romeo, maybe Maserati next), it is great to see the sheer level of excitement of the guys at Italtecnica.
Italy rules! I love my red Stelvio Tributo Italiano in the dynamic mode. Makes me think about the Giulia Quadrifoglio. Fast and beautiful enough for me.
Wow, what a stunning design! It kinda reminds me of the old BMW 1500 or rather the BMW Neue Klasse Vision electric concept car. Really cool tech and interior too!
Hope you guys are enjoying the Italy content, few more big ones and then we’re back in Japan!
Is only for starting the turbocharger 🎉
Amazing episode! Typical low profile Italian shop with incredible skills !!
It's been absolutely fantastic. Loving the variety. To see some of these restomods in detail, where before I'd only seen them on instagram has been a real treat.
Absolutely loving it!!!
What an amazing car. The styling is beautiful. And that stick shift. ❤️
Alfa's 911. The most amazing body that should never have left production. Ever.
The fact that this 700 HP small engine is produced by such a small company is mindblowing.
but they have a story of racing teams over the top ...so they are able to do what they want ..the evolution of that v6 is already 820 hp
i absolutely love this type of content.
this shows the pure and raw side of making legends.

Agree COMPLETELY! That is one COOOOOOOOL FREAKING CAR!
Your not wrong
I cant get over the fact that the interior looks better than most luxury car manufacturers' designs that are in production right now.
no airbags
@@stan-qf3dk that doesn't negate anything
@@falcongamer58 you can't make that kind of interior with airbags on them

Stunning machine. You've got to love the enthusiasm and skill of an Italian engineer.

Wow, I'm speechless. A big thankyou must go to you and the Italtecnica team.
Italian art, craftmanship and perfection! Nobody else in the world can do it with that quality. A Swiss mechanical engineer here.
Agreed!
The Italians are winning the restomod game. Imagine the New Stratos, Kimera 037, Futurista and Totem GT all together. Lambo themselves have done the "Countach" as well.
Well don’t forget Eccentrica, Officine Fioravanti and Nardone
Alfaholics
The new Countach isn't a restomod and it's ugly, too. The Eccentrica is a real restomod and it looks amazing

Im speechless how amazing this car is. Would take over any modern supercar.
