Very fine tutorial! Especially the trick at the end of cutting the starter threads BEFORE cutting the threads from the machine and then using a needle to pull the top thread to the back. Professional result! Thank you very much.

Perfect. I'm a chef and always losing buttons off my coats. I am actually going to go through and reinforce the buttons with the the thread THEY SHOULD HAVE USED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! Thank you so much.

I have the same machine but the darning plate that came with it doesn't fit, it's to wide for the holes... What do I do?

Think its just easier to sew a button on something by hand instead of all these feet and plates to attach

+DJ Summers Perhaps. This would be most helpful when sewing multiple buttons.

Thanx. I'm a novice and am learning much..... as trial by fire. I bought a used Brother LS-2000. I see I need a different foot for sewing on buttons along with this darning plate. Question? Does it work on various size buttons? Or does all this button foot for all or most button sizes...just have to adjust the zigzag? Again....thanks!

It looks like easier to sew by handle needle

Perhaps, if you have just a few buttons to sew. If many, it may be worth setting up the machine with the button sewing foot.

I've got 70 shirts 7 buttons each. To me looks like its quite slow process by machine. I'll try today to set up my machine.
