Im learning so much from your videos, im going to be honest i bought the plug in for gimp, but could not get the photos to come out right, came across your video and tried imagr and worked first time ,so now im trying to dial my machine in and your video's are spot and a varied spectrum ,so i have to say a big thankyou for taking the time to make and share your video's
awesome thanks for watching and glad i can help some people out with my videos, if you do get stuck on anything else or have a problem or question and if i can help i will. thank you
also with the plug in or anytime you dither outside of lightburn make sure when you go to lightburn that you use PASSTHROUGH as the image mode and it will work, i like 260 DPI
Wow that was great! Good idea just to cut it out and have a reference mine goes up to 4,000, I can only imagine? I'm thinking 300 is The Sweet spot research says between 300 and 600? When I get my Mira 9 or Nova I will have to run a test! 🤔
yes the only one down side is for every line per inch you add you are adding time to the job, just have to find the sweet spot, for me for images it is about 260dpi and for acrylic i like 300 and very low power.
it is a CO2 laser you cant see the lines like that with your naked eye and id just a very minor offset adjustment it does a really nice job, the smooth white is just a matter of having the right settings and airflow
Very useful info you deserve more views. Thanks.
Thanks, As long as i can help a few people out i be happy (Y)
Nicely done empirical test. Thank you.

So what is a good number to keep your lines per inch? Are should it be adjusted depending on your project
with my laser there is no need to go any higher than 225dpi for Acrylic as the lines are already touching eachother and covering all the material.
Why is it so white. I've seen thin lenticular laser lines that aren't so jagged. Is this fiber or c02?
